Max’s New Outfit + New Backpack

Here are some shots of Max in not only his new outfit, but also with his new backpack on. His new backpack is based off Spheal, and i got this idea from Misty’s little Spheal-like backpack that she had on in Pokemon Advanced Battle. So Max’s new backpack has the shape of his old backpack and is based on Spheal like Misty’s second gen 3 backpack. And when compared to Max’s old yellow backpack, Max’s new Spheal backpack is bigger, and therefore can carry more stuff.

On a side note, in my rewrite of the ORAS special in the Pokémon XYZ anime, Max is in this outfit and has this backpack. In a way, showing that Max has learned and explored more after he and May parted ways with Ash and Brock at the end of the advanced series. And as I said, Max’s new outfit mirrors the outfit of the School Boy sprite in RSE.

Super Masato 3 has been found!

Now you can download and play this fanmade platformer starring our boy Max. I know I was informed of this a few months ago but I forgot to inform everyone else on here until now, but what’s important is that it’s not lost media anymore, big thanks to whoever found it for us.

Max, Bonnie, and their Pokemon teams

Max is the younger brother of May and the son of the Petalburg City Gym Leader: Norman. Max, at first, was a know-nothing "know-it-all" who was proud of his studies until he realizes studying and experience are two different things, thanks to Blue and Gary. He became humbled and less egotistic of his studies. He curious of different Pokemon and their abilities.

Bonnie is the younger sister of the Lumiose City Gym Leader: Clemont. Bonnie is an energetic and cheerful girl. She always excited meet new Pokemon and befriend them. She always love tending and caring her Pokemon friends.

Each of them wants to be a full-fledged Pokemon Trainer and travel all around the world. The laws of the Pokemon world, kids of their age are allowed to own 3 Pokemon, however they're not permitted to travel without supervision, and they're not allowed to enter Gym Battles, Contests, etc. until the age of 10. When Max and Bonnie first met, they were skeptic of each other, they bicker like kids always do. Until soon they became good friends, despite arguing every now and then. They then develop puppy crush for one another.

Max's Pokemon Grovyle - A new Pokemon for Brotherhood. As a Treecko, it envies that Torchic was picked by May and Mudkip picked by Brendan, leaving it all alone. It follows Ash and the others in order to find a human that wants to take it in. Until it finally heard that Max wants a Treecko, and so it delivers itself to Max. It looks up to Ash's Treecko/Grovyle/Sceptile as an older brother.

Gallade - He is the same Ralts in the canon anime. Back as a Ralts, he was severely sick, and Max helped him out by taking him to the Pokemon Center. In canon anime, Ralts went back with his family. But in Brotherhood, he decided to stay with Max and be his Pokemon.

Charmander - In Brotherhood, Ash's Charizard, along with Liza and Charla, visits Hoenn for an important event and run into Ash and the others. It was revealed that Ash's Charizard and Charla conceived an egg together. Charmander was hatched, and it seems to love to follow Max around. It was then decided that the parents let Charmander stick with Max.

Bonnie's Pokemon Dedenne - In canon anime, Clemont caught Dedenne for his little sister Bonnie. In Brotherhood, Clemont helps Bonnie to catch Dedenne, especially after the info from Red and the others that kids of Bonnie's age can be a trainer, along with the other rules. Bonnie gets Dedenne as in canon, except this time, she's his trainer.

Gardevoir - A new Pokemon for Brotherhood. As a wild Kirlia, she loves to play and care for younglings, whether they be humans or Pokemon. She met Bonnie when she separated from the group and without her Pokemon, as well as in trouble, she went to save and protect Bonnie. She then helps Bonnie return to the others, and sees how often Bonnie gets into trouble, she follows the heroes around, until Bonnie caught her so Kirlia can protect her at all times. Kirlia/Gardevoir is like a mother-figure to Bonnie.

Tyrunt - In canon anime, Tyrunt evolved into a Tyrantrum to rescue Bonnie, and it belonged to a scientist so Bonnie cannot keep it. In Brotherhood, it didn't evolved due to it being too young and inexperienced, yet Kirlia saved Bonnie in it's stead. The scientists allowed Bonnie to keep Tyrunt, due to it being attached to her.

Daigo has so many genuine connections, all these people who would stand by him regardless of if Tojo still exists. It just sort of feels like it plays to the way Masato is just chronically blind to the love around him and the strength of Ichiban's whole thing and surrounds himself purely with transactional relationships. It's the way Mine viewed the world before he met Daigo, but Masato is purposefully cultivating this environment around himself. Masato HAD those bonds where Mine didn't, but Masato's "those who use and those who are used" still feels like a worse distillation of Mine's philosophy, or at least that the two rhyme even if they aren't the same. Daigo originally defying Mine's worldview led to a longing to understand it and be a part of it; Daigo defying Masato's would probably just lead to more seething lol. Tojo going away, not only is just 'oops daigo already planned on that' robbing Masato of the satisfaction, idk it just further highlights that without being wrapped up in the status of Chair that these people are still with Daigo. Aoki bought his connections through lies and money and destroyed the only ones he sincerely had by following "use or be use" to its end, but Daigo could just fuck off anywhere he wanted and still have not just friendship but as Masato might see it absolute loyalty (esp in a Mine lives scenario; Aoki's lil pet bastard Kume's devotion is absolutely a speck vs **Mine** ). Both Aoki and Daigo can lose their positions of power, but its only Masato who feels like he's lost everything. sdfklfsjld idk goodbye anyway the brainrot is strong please keep going I'm here for every second

the note bout mine and masato's worldviews IS SUCH an interesting point too: in essence they both believed the same thing (genuine bonds are a myth and people only use each other), it was just that mine held onto the small hope that he'd be wrong one day. by the time daigo does prove him wrong, he's almost automatically willing to accept it. his problem is that he became so attached to daigo that when the possibility of him being taken away became real, he went off the deep end

in masato's case. Lord he's a field day to explore psychologically maybe in another post, but he did have those bonds mine wanted so earnestly for more than half his life, exactly. ever since arakawa saved him- hell, even after sawashiro realized the life he inflicted upon him, masato was showered with nothing but love from the arakawa family. it's a wonder that despite that fact, masato still insisted he was neglected and alone. settling for relationships he knew were fake and for the most part temporary, he wanted to protect himself- he didn't want to be attached and become hurt and vulnerable again

it really is a cruel twist for masato and daigo and how they end up: despite daigo actually having grown up alone, that didn't stop him from having a warm and inviting attitude towards people and giving him a sizable amount of people who'd follow him to the ends of the earth. inversely, masato had become greedy and wanted more adoration, even if it was superficial or surface level.

It apparently wasn't very clear in the dub for a lot of folks, so... May and Max are descended from the Water Folk (might be why their eyes are blue! ... Norman's skin is also a bit darker/tanner, although not to the same extent as the Water Folk we see in the movie who have blue eyes and hair--Norman's hair is black with a blue tint to it, but his eyes are black + Caroline's eyes are blue, but her skin's lighter and her hair's a very light brown--maybe both their parents are descendants, but very mixed?)...

Others have also pointed out it's likely that the villain, Pirate Phantom, is also a descendant, as they made his hair blue, despite his early design having silver hair, likely to make it clearer.

Although, Phantom claims he simply researched the Water Folk to know everything about them (he's the one who reads the inscription to everyone, too) and says he had a hard time getting the Water Folk symbol (their jewellery)--the one he has is cracked and broken, which could suggest he took it by force from someone, or that it's just very old and he sought it out somewhere...

That one's been left open to interpretation!

im going to reveal to you guys my enlightened (..head..)canon heights for some of the rgg chars ok since for some reason rgg is obsessed w making everyone 6'1. american measurements because i am an american sorry

kiryu - 6'0. his canon height is suitable to him imo.

ichiban - 5'11 or 6'0, that feels right to me.

majima - 6'1. same as above.

saejima - 6'5 or 6'6. there is no way he is 6'1.

nishikiyama - 5'9, 5'10.

yagami - absolutely no larger than 5'7. come on. be real.

kaito - 6'2, 6'3. kaito is a big boy.

sugiura - 5'6 at most, probably more like 5'4 or 5'5.

tsukumo - also around 5'7.

higashi - 5'11. respectably tall but not huge.

kuroiwa - 5'7 or 5'8. i think he should be nearly the same height as yagami as it makes the final fight more fun to me if they're nearly mirrors.

ryuji - 6'5, which i think is his canon model height or very close to it!

saeko - 5'7.

nanba - 5'6. he's unquestionably short.

adachi - 6'1 max.

zhao - 5'10, for some reason he strikes me as relatively tall, just slinky.

joongi - 5'8 or so.

seonhee - 5'2 but wears six inch heels.

akiyama - 5'11, maybe 5'10.

shinada - he's giving 5'9, 5'10, just very broadly built.

tanimura - gonna be real, no bigger than 5'8. maybe down to 5'5 even. there is no way this man is tall.

mine - hes giving maybe 5'10.

daigo - solid 6'0. gets it from yayoi who i also see as tall, since dojima is a hobbit of a man.

since i mentioned her, yayoi is also like 5'10 or so. absolutely not a tiny woman.

makoto - 5'4 ish.

hana - 5'3 without heels.

masato / aoki - 5'6 also. and thats in his nice little wedged heel shoes.

shishido - 6'4 or so. big boy.

Davit Kiria vs Enriko Kehl - ONE Championship: First Strike

Davit Kiria has a chance to put his name down in the history books. The Georgian fighter will be part of the upcoming elimination round for the return of the K-1 WORLD MAX tournament. Already a -70kg tournament champion for Kunlun Fight and a former Glory lightweight champion, Kiria will look to add his name next to guys like Buakaw, Masato, Andy Souwer, Giorgio Petrosyan and other legends of the sport by winning the tournament.

Kiria will be fighting on the K-1 World MAX 2024 - World Tournament Opening Round card this Tuesday (March 19th) in the US. His opponent for the elimination round will be Thananchai Sitsongpeenong, a Rajadamnern Stadium champion. Card will be available on Triller TV.

Kiria’s out of the K-1 World Max so I guess just enjoy this fight between him and Kehl.
