Prank War

Max and Kie were the ultimate pranksters of the group.

They usually targeted the others, whether it was replacing Nini’s coffee for saltwater or convincing Cat that the Wi-Fi only worked if she sang to it. But they rarely turned on each other.

When they did, the house became a disaster. An extremely messy one at that. It was the kind of chaos that forced everyone else to stay in their rooms or wear some kind of protection when they went into the living room or the kitchen.

It started off simple enough. Max and Kie were locked in on their usual competition of outsmarting each other, but at some point, Maya got dragged in. She'd been a bystander until Max tried to trap Kie in the bathroom with a bucket of flour. That was when Maya decided to interfere.

"You’re both amateurs," she said with a smirk, and just like that, she was in.

The war went from a friendly rivalry to an all-out war, and Maya was the wildcard no one saw coming so the chaos multiplied by two.

By midday, Kie had switched out Max’s skateboard wheels for tiny plastic toy ones, making her fall straight into the grass. Max got back at her by replacing Kie’s surf wax with a suspiciously slippery thing she probably found in Jade's room, nearly causing her to wipe out.

Maya, living up to her reputation, tricked both of them into believing the other had spiked their drinks with hot sauce, leading to a dramatic and completely unnecessary argument over dinner. Maya had to hold her laughter for 10 minutes straight.

El rolled her eyes, but nobody noticed it except Wednesday, who gave her a firm and faint smile, amused by how she was acting.

Enid had tried to play peacemaker with a batch of cookies, but when that didn't work, she gave up and settled in with a bag of popcorn to enjoy the show. Lottie lit some sage and waved it around, mumbling about getting rid of the bad energy.

By evening, the house was a mess. Nothing was technically broken, but things were definitely not where they were supposed to be. Nat was still fuming while trying to figure out why her shampoo turned her hair blue. She had a pretty good guess on who was responsible.

That was when Gina and Sarah finally had enough.

“I don’t care who started it,” Gina said, arms crossed as she stared at the mess. “You’re all cleaning this up.”

“Yeah, this is actually embarrassing,” Sarah added, shaking her head.

Max, Kie, and Maya exchanged glances. It was over. They didn’t need to say it out loud, they just knew.

El, quietly observing the whole thing from the couch, finally spoke up. “You’re also doing the dishes after.”

Riley, who was recording the 'war' on her phone, quickly shut it off and avoided eye contact with everyone.

The room went silent. El rarely got involved in group messes, and when she did, it meant they were done. There was no negotiating.

Kie sighed. “Yeah, yeah. We got it.”

Maya groaned. “Fine. But I’m not touching Wednesday’s knives.”

"Or Jade's scissors!" Kie raised her hand.

Jade, coming out from her room with a pair of scissors on her hands, glared at Kie then scoffed, "As if I would let you."

“Fair,” Gina said, finally sitting down and grabbing her food. “At least you’re learning.”

Max and Kie flopped onto the empty couch, already dreading the cleanup. But honestly? It was worth it. They looked at each other and started laughing.

Maya shushed them and smiled when she got their attention. She scrunched her nose then stuck her tongue out at them and laughed along quietly, careful not to let the others hear.

So do we all agree at this point that Eddie is coming back for ST5? With Joseph Quinn revealing he has insider information about it and all...

It seems completely obvious to me, I can't even understand anymore why it wasn't when ST4 ended. I mean Max went somewhere when she died and didn't come back into her body. (Probably into Vecna's mind as he told El "They are all still in here") So obviously others did too. It doesn't change zilch that Max heart was restarted, that's only her chance to come back into this world and live on after she is freed.

Eddie's body might be preserved in the UD as time stands still, so I guess it would be possible to relive him story telling -wise, but it's probably a bit more likely his body is dead and he will just die when freed from wherever he is now, but for now he is probably stuck.

Honestly as much as I love and grieve Alexei, Eddie is not like him. He was build up so much and more seemed to be promised with his character, which is why so many people were annoyed with his not totally arc-fulfilling and satisfying death. Alexei's death was sad but perfect, Eddie's not so much. There must be more to come, right? I'm pretty sure .

Soft! (If you’re still open!) Steve and Billy learning each other’s preferences- like how they like their coffee or toast, or which way to fold clothes, or how they squeeze toothpaste out. REAL DOMESTIC SHIT TRACY I NEED IT

Lucas slid into the back seat of the Beemer and said hey to everyone. Steve and Dustin were up front and Dustin was arguing with Steve about coffee, of all things, because against everyone’s advice Dustin had discovered coffee and had opinions that apparently they all needed to hear. 

Lucas did his best job to tune it all out, though, because Max was sitting with him in the back seat. He leaned over to give her a little kiss on the cheek. 

Max ducked her head -- still adorable after a year of on-again, off-again dating. “Hey stalker.” 

“Hey West Coast.” 

Max rolled her eyes, but still smiled.

“Did you get that research done for Kaminsky yet?” Lucas asked. “I tried like three different sources but-”

“What!” Dustin exclaimed at Steve, interrupting Lucas’s train of thought. His voice was high-pitched and growing hysterical. “Coffee with cream and sugar? That’s offsensive. I’m offended, Steve. I thought we were friends. How dare you besmirch coffee like that?”

Steve gestured wildly. “I don’t see the problem. Billy takes his with like,  half a cup of half and half and like four tablespoons of sugar. It’s like drinking hot candy.” 

Why does he know how Billy takes his coffee, was Lucas’s first thought. 

“But what?” Max prompted. 

“Huh?” Lucas returned his focus to her. 

“What was wrong with your sources?” 

“Oh. Uhm. Turns out they were unreliable and I couldn’t use them.” 

Max turned in her seat to face him. “I can’t find an-y-thing on my topic. Maybe you could help me-”

“-and he hates mayo which I tried to get him to try like five times but he claims it’s disgusting,” Steve said to Dustin. 

“Are you talking about Billy?” Lucas asked. He smelled something about this and had to follow through. “Billy doesn’t like mayo?” 

Max looked affronted that he’d cut her off. He shot her an apologetic glance and nodded up at Steve. 

“No, man. he hates the stuff.”

“Yeah? How does he fold his towels?”

Steve huffed. “He rolls them. Like in a pool or a spa, or something. All of these pretty neatly rolled towels. I’ve never seen any real person fold their towels like that.”

The hypothesis was so close that Lucas could smell it. “What about this tube of toothpaste?”

“I thought he was gonna be all super neat and fold up the tube from the bottom, like, after I saw how he does towels, but no. He squeezes it from the top like, like who does that?” 

Lucas leaned forward a bit. “Pancakes?” 

“With blueberries, syrup, and bacon.” 

Max raised her eyebrow at him. 

“Does he give you goodbye kisses?”

“Every. Time.” 

Lucas clapped his hands once, so pleased that his hypothesis proved true. “I knew it.” 

Max and Dustin looked at him like he had lobsters crawling out of his ears. “Dude,” Dustin said. “You’re just now figuring this out? Seriously?”

“They’ve been together for like four months,” Max said. “How did you not know?” 

Dustin laughed. “Oh my god, wow. They made out on your porch, dude. You didn’t know?” 

“I hate you both,” Lucas said as Max and Dustin laughed. 

Lucas leaned forward again and gripped Steve’s shoulder. “Good for you, man. You guys seem happy around each other, so. Cool.” 

“Thanks,” Steve said. “You’re a pretty smart kid, Sinclair.”

Mike getting Vecna'd in s5 would be a perfect way of introducing his gayness and his love for Will to the GA also Vecna knows Will loves Mike and he's gonna go after Mike to get to Will (i'm not saying Mike had a nosebleed in s4 i'm saying it was foreshadowing for s5) Mike is gay and has internalized homophobia and he's depressed.. perfect Vecna victim. also when he was outside of the school with Dustin it looked like he was having a headache especially if he's haunted by nightmares (maybe about his fear of Will rejecting him and losing Will?)

Is Mike a good kisser?

So what kinda struck me when watching Vol. 2 is that El remembers a montage of sweet lively Max talk to motivate her to save her and it ends right at "Is Mike a good kisser?" making this sound super important and really leaving an impression, when it's such a silly little question.

Is this going through El's mind? Like "Idk it's day 193 since I last tried to kiss him with tongue and all and he did nothing. Is that weird? Max please come back with me, I need to talk!"

I have finally come to terms with Billy’s death, but something that would have been so satisfying would to have been to see Neil in line with the other Flayed! People turning into human meat slime. Like Billy speared Susan but got to his father. Got him and let the mindflyer kill him.

But he didn’t because he knew that if Neil was flayed, than that would be a death sentence for Max and Susan.
