Tom Dixon Manner Side Rope Chair

An amazing and rare chair designed after the famous 'S' chair of Tom Dixon. The chair is weaved with rope or rushed around a metal frame. It holds a beautiful hourglass shape that's playful and resembles a seating feminine body making it highly unusual and unique to any interior.

Overall good condition

All chairs have very strong frame. Some of the rope condition is worn or loose. on some chairs is almost perfect and on some it has some discolouration. The four first pictures of the 3/4 chairs are four different chairs. The rest of the pictures are a mix of eight chairs showcasing the condition which as mentioned some is very good and some is average.

Complete set of 6 chrome cantilever MR10 chairs by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, in brown leather. This set of chairs is an early 1960s example of his famous design produced by Knoll International. The MR10 chair was first designed in the 1920s, and this set of six features the chrome springs on the backs and seats. Later the design was improved, with a shortening of the springs and a reversion to an elastic corset cord. The chairs still bear the oval sticker marks on the back of the bottom of the seats.

MR10 chairs are really comfortable, and are a real design classic, as seen in many films and other media. Our MR10 chairs recently have been used to decorate the interior of a restaurant in London, which was featured in Architectural Digest, Dezeen, Elle Decoration, and many other publications (as shown in the images, which are property of Child Studio).

Two of the chairs have the complete set of springs; the remaining four, as you can see from the images, are missing some springs, and the leather punctured holes are ripped off. All of the cantilever frames are in great condition, with the expected 80 years of wear. We sell the chairs in their original vintage condition as seen, and that is reflected in the price of the set. If you wish to restore them with new leather, in any colour, please let us know and we can assist you.

It was a few weeks after Elminster announced to Gale that Mystra would consider forgiveness if he used the orb to destroy the Absolute. The hunger the orb craved for, put to temporary rest with the help of the Weave. Gale had asked Mavil to meet him, confessing to her his long standing feelings. Over the course of their time traveling together, he had fallen deeply in love with her. Mavil had been ecstatic. Having wanted for him for just as long.

Now she lay beside him, resting inside his tent as he reads. His voice soothing as it speaks on stories of ancient magic and adventures of wizards. A mage hand turning the pages so his own hand could continue combing through her hair soothingly.

What a wonderful way to spend the night. Listening to his voice. Forgetting the dangers and worries that threatened them (especially Gale) ahead. Her arms wrapped around his body, lifting to rest her head on his leg.

"There were those that warned me against straying from the river, but I was out searching for an adventure. And where better than the 'Fields of the Dead'? Living in Baldur's Gate, one hears much about this grand, grassy plain, but one never visits. And for a place with such a desolate name, it is positively teeming with life! Well... perhaps not teeming, but there are honest farmers to be found there, and a large number of ravens. Alas, I had no time to venture near the huge hills (or 'barrows' as the locals call them), but I am told that ancient artefacts are all but bursting out of the ground. A fine spot for a little relic hunting." Gale's soothing voice came to a subtle stop and she could feel him move ever so slightly.

Soon after, Mavil heard the soft 'thud' of the book closing. She opened her eyes to look up at him with a pout. "Why did you stop reading?"

The wizard chuckled warmly, his brown eyes glinting in the candle light. "You can hardly blame me. I had thought slumber had taken you away. Snuggled so comfy and breathing so soft. Shall I keep reading then? Or can I lay with you so we might both allow sleep to take us?"

Mavil hummed, pretending to think it over. "I suppose you can lay down too." She said teasingly. Earning another chuckle from the brunette.

Gale waited for Mavil to move off his lap before scooting down to lay beside her. His arms immediately embraced her, pulling her plush against him. His face nuzzling into her hair, careful to not knock into her horns.

"We will reach Moonrise towers tomorrow. I know your feelings on me using the orb. But I hope you understand, if I need to, I will use it. I want you to be safe. Even if it means my end." He whispered softly to her. She squeezed him tightly, a deep frown on her face as she buried herself against him.

"I don't care what you say. I won't let you. I just got you. We've just come together. I'm not letting you leave me. Not now, not ever."

Gale gazed down at her, confliction in his eyes. How sweet her words were. How deep they sunk into his very heart and soul. How they made him rethink things. He held her tighter, kissing the top of her head. "Thank you, for loving me. For you, perhaps I'll try."

Ölüm kokuyor şehrimin rüzgarları. Zafer var yüzümdeki gülüşte. Gözümde kanlı yaşlar. Denize karşı bir bank. Masmavi mehtap ne kadar huzur doluysa rüzgarlı bi hava onu o kadar korkunç yapıyor. Kızıl Kahkaha çok canı yanınca gülermiş. Gökyüzünde kızıl Kahkaha. Deniz bırakmıyor mehtabı ondan daha çok yanıyor canı.

Gözlerini kapat ve denizi çek içine. Kırgınlığı,hüznü,siniri alsın senden. Derin nefesler daha da boğucu oluyor. Nefes almak batıyor sanki.

Ayağa kalkıp dalgalara adımlıyorum. Her adımımda üstümden bir şey eksiliyor. Soğuk su bedenimin her yerine yüzlerce iğneyi aynı anda soksada içimde ki yangına derman olmuyor. Uykum geliyor,midem bulanıyor insanların saçmalıkları beni bitiriyor. Dalga coştukça ben batıyorum. Ben battıkça karanlık kucak açıyor. Sesler o kadar ürkütücü ki bedenim kaskatı kesiliyor. Boşluktan kocaman kanlı bir el çekiyor beni en dibe. İşte karşımda şimdi bir gölge. Gözleri masmavi. Gözlerinin masumluğuna tezat ellerindeki kan izleri.

Korkmadım. Çünkü gözlerine baktım. Sandım ki bana bi şey yapamaz bu kadar eşsiz bir çift mavilik. Sandım ki kıyamadığı olurum.

Göğsümün altında kalbim yerinden çıkacak gibi. Avcılar ilk başta avlarının güvenini kazanırmış.

Bekledi öylece hiç bir şey yapmadan. Ve sonum,omzumdan belime kadar kocaman bir yaradan. Koca denizde boğulmadım da bir çift mavi gözde kayboldum.

Kan denizde dağılmaya başladı. Acım akıl almaz boyutları aldı. Dizlerimin üstüne düştüm ama hiç bir şey hissetmedim.

Kesiğin acısına değil kırıklarımın acısına ağladım.

Hayır ben böyle yenilemezdim. Denize yalvardım. "Kurtar beni buradan..." gölge yaklaştı. Sonum geliyordu. "Kurtar beni" şimdi pis elleri vücudumda. Gözlerimi kapattım ve bekledim ölümü.

Elimi kaldırdım son çare durması için. Deniz benim itatimde. Güç bende.

Ruhumun en derininde hissettim bana getirdiklerini. Artık acım yok. Su iyileştirdi vücudumda ki koca yarığı. Ve bana bi iz bıraktı o yarayı. Gölgeden uzaklaştım. İşaret parmağımı hafifçe kaldırdım.

Derinlerin sahibi,ruhların katili,kimsesizlerin kurtuluşu,bazılarının en derin yarası benim tek bir hareketimle ait olduğu yer tarafından boğuldu. Ruhlar özgür kaldı. Maviler beni boyarken kafamı kaldırdım ve son kez baktım gökyüzüne. Güldüm ama bu yıldızlara vedaydı...

Arkadaşlar bilirsiniz gökyüzü hep mavidir.. Mavi belki de bize verilen en büyük mıcizedir çünkü maviler bizi anlatır.. Ne beyaz ne siyah hayatımızın mavisine yakışmaz çünkü biz denize göğe aşık olanlardanız..
