As Christians, we should not cover up our gifts that God gave us because of any reason, including worrying about what people might think, or us feeling nervous, etc. When people see us behaving in Christian ways that show we really care about others’ wellbeing, even in smaller ways like saying thank you to the bus driver, or saying good morning to someone entering an elevator, or even giving change to someone on the street, people can see the light emanating from within us in those actions and might even praise God for it!!!!!

Ignite the world, You are the Light!

“Everyone who has been wise will shine as bright as the sky above, and everyone who has led others to please God will shine forever like the stars.” Daniel 12:3 You are the light that shines in the darkness. By reading and sharing these inspiring words, you are the light. By doing what God has commanded you to do, you are the light. By choosing to ignore the ‘mocker’ and believe that God is on your side, you are the light. By letting go and forgive when people offended you, it means you are the light. When you are more positive rather than being negative, you are the light. You are the light. You have been given this gift from God, so it's time to shine. Light is a gift from God to the world. It can be found in every situation, but it can also be in every person. You have a choice to choose how you want to live your lives, so choose wisely, because each day brings new opportunities, allowing you to lighten up someone darkness. Roy T. Bennett said, “Learn to light a candle in the darkest moments of someone’s life. Be the light that helps others see; it is what gives life its deepest significance.” Yes, be the light to light up somebody. By promoting someone instead of criticizing them, you are the light. By sharing your idea and God's given gifts to help the world, you are the light. When you stop hating and start loving, you are the light. Because “Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” Martin Luther King, Jr. Jesus said, “If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then, can his kingdom stand?” Matt 12:26. By being honest, faithful, kind, and diligent to yourself, you are the light. By not judging others, you are the light. By giving up on things that don't serve you well and know that not everything is meant for you, you are the light. By not allowing negativity to take over, you are the light. By not letting people control your life, you are the light. You are the light when you are in darkness when there is no hope for tomorrow. "You are the light for the whole world. A city built on top of a hill cannot be hidden" Matthew 5:14. Prayer 1. I proclaim that Jesus Christ is the LORD, and Savior of my LIFE. He is the source of my light. 2. I eliminate nightmares and self-destruction that come through spiritual darkness. I refuse to be part of any physical or spiritual accidents in any forms in the mighty name of Jesus. 3. It is written, “And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness cannot overcome it!” John 1:5” I prophesy in the name of Jesus, that no weapon, charm, evil forecast, wickedness or demonic power against you and whatever that concerns you shall prosper. Today I started a plan, the ten different bibles, and the first one is the bible of Aitken. He was a person that printed things back when we first started the states. He is the first one to print the bible in english, even though it was not allowed. The bible was even approved by congress, and to this day it is the most rare bible of all. To me it is crazy to think that we got the bible when we started our journey as a country. Then the devotional goes onto talk about Matthew 5:14-16; 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” I think this is trying to relate to the Aitken bible by saying that it was not hidden from America, it was given to the highest light to us, by being shown to us and even the highest people in our congress approving it.
