OMG OMG SEIGE OMG ANOTHER M!HAWKE X F!TREVELYAN SHIPPER!? YES YES YES How about "Person A draws Person B and vice versa, Couple Portraits" for Alissa x Garrett? 👀👀👀👀👀👀
Happy writing!
Yes! I adore this ship and will go down with this ship! My Alissa Trevelyan x Garrett Hawke ship is my comfort ship. In their canon story, Alissa is an illustrator for children books and does portraits on the side, at least she did in Kirkwall. XD For @dadrunkwriting
Content Warning: flirting, mentions of Hawke and Trev child, adorable shenanigans Length: I forgot to look. XD
Tumblr media
“Are you quite certain you wish to do this Garrett?” Alissa asked as she joined him in her quarters.  He’d been bugging her all afternoon that he had a great plan set up for a quiet evening.  He’d gotten Bethany and Matthew to keep Zephyr overnight, Alissa wished she could be a fly on the wall for Matthew putting his nephew to bed it would be quite the spectacle, and Garrett had been so excited.
“Yes!  I know you painted that portrait of the family for Mother back in Kirkwall, but I’d like to give this a try myself.”  Alissa crossed her arms in front of her chest as she studied her husband.  He looked so proud of himself and she actually was looking forward to sitting down and getting to sketch him.  Not that she hadn’t done her fair share of it back in Kirkwall, but those had been with stolen glances when he wasn’t looking.
“Alright.  You’ve gotten everything prepared already.”  She swept a hand towards the materials neatly arranged on her desk.
“I had a little help with getting your paperwork finished.”  She looked over at him and he simply smiled down at her.  “Lady Montilyet was more than happy to help me once I explained what I was trying to do.”
“Josie would be more than happy.”  Alissa gave a short laugh as she realized the hopeless romantic would happily help him set up this date.  “Alright Garrett.  You’re on one side and I’m on the other?”
“Yes.  Then we come together and see what each looks like at the end.”  Alissa chuckled and she carefully sat in the chair facing Garrett.  He smiled at her before he looked down at his paper and charcoal.
And realized he had absolutely no idea how he was going to accomplish this.  His wife was the talented artist, he could barely string two lines together.  He watched her hand moving over the page and knew he had to get started.  He hoped he could do something of a decent job.  Garrett started when he felt her foot brush the back of his leg.  “Madam, are you trying to distract me?”
“Is it working?”
“Yes, now stop.”  Alissa huffed and returned to her drawing.  They sat quietly in their quarters, letting the noises of the courtyard be the backdrop for their date.  Alissa dared a glance over and saw how hard he was concentrating on the paper.  Garrett always put his one hundred percent into whatever it was he did.  Whether it was fighting, helping his friends and family, or his son.  Alissa loved that about him, there was nothing half-hearted about Garrett Hawke’s actions.
“Alright.  I think I’m done.” Garrett announced as Alissa looked up.  “Shall we show them off?” Alissa chuckled and she held her paper close to her chest and stood.  “Where are you going my lovely wife?  There’s no escaping.”  He reached out and linked their fingers together as she joined his side.
“I wasn’t leaving.  I wanted to see what you did.”  Garrett made a face but she merely brought their fingers up to her lips, pressing a quick kiss and grinning at him.
“Quit trying to distract me.”
“Garrett, I could be talking about treaties and noble houses and you’d think I was seducing you.” Alissa placed her art facedown before turning to him.
“Well, I do like how snooty you sound when you’re talking to the nobles.”  He grabbed her waist and pulled her onto his lap earning a laugh from her lips.
“Now who’s trying to distract who?”  Alissa smiled up at him.  He leaned down and pressed his lips against hers.  Her hand came up to cup his cheek as she parted her lips under his.  He was almost lost in the kiss but he sensed her moving.
“Don’t!”  He broke the kiss as she snatched up his drawing and danced away from him with her prize held against her chest.  “You little sneak.”
“You were the one who was trying to distract me serah.  I merely did what I had to do to get my hands on this.” Alissa huffed at him as she pointed at his chest.  “Now, let me see.”  Alissa held the drawing up and her lips curved into a smile.  She noticed the way he looked away, half covering his lips with his hand and a dusting of red on his cheeks going up to his ears.
His drawing was nowhere near professional, but Alissa knew that.  Her heart warmed as she saw the painstaking way he captured her portrait.  She could see the lines he carefully drew for her tattoos, her eyes, and how hard he worked on getting her hair right.  It wasn’t professional but it was just as precious to her.  She tucked it behind her back when she sensed him reaching for it.
“Nope!  I’m keeping this.  I love it Garrett.”
“It’s not as good as yours.”  She heard the grumbling and laughed.
“Of course it isn’t.  I’ve studied art since I was fifteen.  Over half my life I’ve dedicated myself to it.  You haven’t but to see what you were able to do for me?  I absolutely love it.  I’d like to see you draw Zephyr too.”  Garrett looked at her in surprise.  “What?  I’m serious Hawke.”
“Well, since you were so persistent and used my name in that tone of voice…  I guess I have to.”  Alissa grinned at him and leaned in for another kiss.  Garrett’s hands came up to her hips, his fingers digging in slightly as he lost himself in the kiss.
They broke apart when the door burst open downstairs.  “Alissa!!!  Your child is insufferable!  Has to be his father’s genes!”  Garrett burst into laughter at hearing his brother-in-law grousing about putting their child down for bedtime.

Did Matthew & Luke use a lost gospel Q? (The Synoptic Problem)
COMMENTARY:
Ian, you and Robyn Walsh and John MacDanald are so close to the actual origins of all written Christian literature, you are liable to sit on it my mistake. Thre are two euangelion's: the euangelion that Pilate transmitted to Tiberius that is cited by Tertuallian in Book V, Apology and the euangelion after Acts 10 that leds in Mark 1:1 and is the basis for the oral and writtenn traditions of the Gospels, Acts and the 19 citation in the Episltes of Paul, ' Pilate's euangelin consists of the harmonization of Mark 15:1 - 16:8 with the Gospel of Peter. The Talking Cross, which is the ratification of the unilateral covenant between the Jewish God in Genesis 1:1 and Revelation 4:2 and the centurions of the Italian Regiment represented by Cornelius, the Command Sergeant Major of Caesarea and Pilate's Chief of Staff, is the Tidings of Joy Pilate conveys to Tiberius Caesar that compels Tiberius to nominate Jesus for the Roman Pantheon. In addition, there is the harmonization of the 7 seals the Roman soldiers afix to the stone they rolled infront of the tomb with the 7 seals of Revelation being generated in the spiritual realm of Palestine as a ocnsequence of the selection of the anti-Christ  and rejection of Jesus that first becomes manifest by the weather phenomena that turned noon into ight as Jesus was lingering on the cross. The connection of the 7 seals of the soldiers and the 7 seals of Revelation is something you will never make under the creative glass ceiling of the critical historic method of Post Modern Historic Deconstruction, but is a bare naked lady dancing for all to see on the stage of the critical literary method of Post Modern Literary Deconstruction of the academo of liberal arts before 1968. The eurangelion of Mark 1:1 after Acts 10 includes the confession of Peter in Acts 10:34 - 43 along with the harmonization of Pilate's euangelion.. Peter's confession becomes the narrative arc of the Synoptic Gospels that is combined with the intelligence archives of the 10th Legion generally understood to be Quelle that is not only accessed by the three Synopitic writers but also by Josephus is the writing of his accounts of the destruction of Jerusulem in the company of the 10th Legion, which occupied the Mount of Olives during the seige and patrolled the territory from there up to Capernaum during the time of Jesus, Both Jesus and Josephus grew up with the 10th Legion and Josephus probably surrendered to them after betraying his command, It is at the Acts 10 briefing that Cornlius conveys the cntent of Pilate's euangelion to Peter, which is the source of the Gospel of Peter. The Mark 1:1 euangelion becomes the existential anchor of the vetting process of Paul by Peter in Acts 15:7 and the template of the 19 citations of the euangelion in the Epistels. The Gospel of Mark was composed by Cornelius in Latin and transmitted to Theophilus in Rome by the time of Claudius' accession in 41 CE. Matthew is a polemic written in reapose to Galations and in support of Judaism by 50 CE. It should not be lost in the scholarship that Rome converted from the Egyptian 8 day work week to a 7 day work week at the same time Rome adopted the numerology of Jesus and hellenism In 50 CE, Luke begins to include a real-time eye witness record of Paul in his working medical journals as they form a partnership for infiltrating Jewish congregations. When Paul is arrested and held by Felix, Luke draws on this journalism to begin an amicus brief in support of Paul's pending defense in Rome, but, after being introduced to Cornelius, begins the research for the Gospel of Luke and Acts of the Apostles as an agent of Theophilus, the Biship of the secret Roman Church of the Legions. The 18 books of the Gospels, Acts and Epistles become Theophilus's bibliography for Hebrews, which is the military manifesto of Christianity summarized by the Apostle's Creed. The authority of the centurion in Matthew 8:9 is the necessary connection between Romans 13:1 - 7 and Hebrews 13:17. The Mithra cults whereever the Roman legion is based is the front organization for the Roman Communion of the Talking Cross. The thesis of the Jesus seminar that the Gospel of Mark is in any manner dervative of Pauline Theology is purley the consequece of the characteristic distortions of history by the Post Modern Historic Deconstruction, Whether intentional or circumstantial, the critical historic method is a mechanism of the disinformation of Project 2025 and the Pro-Life Total Depravity doctrine of Christian Nationalism. And, just for the record, Papias was padding his resume.

Sounds for the Apocalypse
What would the end of the world sound like?
I imagine it’s a bit like the crunching of day-old jam under my keyboard as I tell myself that I’ll get over you.
Unbeknownst to me, your soul needed to be eternal. No apocalypse plan, infusion of zombie scenarios in my daydreams, or rejection will delete you from this mind of mine.
Apparently I had a 10 step plan, straight out of “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”.
But I plagiarized and now you’re here still, my Matthew McConaughey, goddammit.
What would the end of the world sound like?
Something like the roar of a hijacked engine into the distance, with me holding your driver’s license in the palm of my hand. You took my heart instead.
Figured you’d get pulled over in a day or two and call me up for a bailout, figured I’d be your safety call forever. Cuz if “home is where the heart is” and you stole away with mine, it had to be mutual, right?
But the cops let you go, like I would’ve myself, clay to your hands waving half-hearted apologies, and I wasn’t needed that time or ever again.
What would the end of the world sound like?
I sit cross legged with the static of texts unresponded to and decide that Armageddon has just kicked off.
God is a fucking woman and you laid seige on my heart. The apocalypse is here. But you aren’t.

The Eschaton: A Timeline of Events
Part Three
The Seven Vials
*The Seven Vials will be poured out sequentially over a period of 3½ years; just as with the Trumpets, the Vials are sequential, and the effects of each may overlap with the others.
•1st Vial: Painful Sores on all who have the Mark (Revelation 16:2)
•2nd Vial: The Entire Sea becomes Blood (Revelation 16:3)
•3rd Vial: All Fresh Water becomes Blood (Revelation 16:4-6)
•4th Vial: Sun scorches the Earth and its People (Revelation 16:8-9)
•5th Vial: Throne of the Beast covered in Painful Darkness (Revelation 16:10-11)
•6th Vial: The Euphrates Dries Up
*The Antichrist assembles the armies of  the earth, and takes advantage of the dried up Euphrates to allow the kings of the East to march with him.  They stage in the valley of Migeddo and lay seige to Jerusalem in a last effort to annihilate the Jews (Revelation 16:12-14, 16; cf Joel 3:9-16; Zechariah 14:2; Ezekiel 38).
•7th Vial: Thunder Storms with Massive 100lb Hailstones, plus the Greatest Earthquake in the History of the World
*The earthquake will be global; it will break Babylon into three parts; it will topple all the cities on earth; it will level all the mountains and sink all the islands (Revelation 16:17-21).
The greatest destruction from the 7th Vial will occur at Babylon, the location of the Antichrist's throne and the capitol of his kingdom.  The city will be annihilated, which will devastate the economy of the Antichrist's kingdom (Revelation 17-18).
[[Side Note on Babylon and The Antichrist:  I think "Babylon" is applied figuratively, not literally referring to the site of the ancient city of Babylon.  We don't know where exactly this will be, but I favor Joel Richardson's take on it: I believe the Antichrist will be the Islamic Mahdi, and the Antichrist's government will be a revived Muslim Caliphate, rather than a revived Roman Empire, and the one-world religion will be some form of Islam, perhaps a new form we haven't seen yet.  The "Babylon" mentioned here I believe is the city of Mecca, in Saudi Arabia.   For more on this, I highly recommend reading Joel Richardson's books  "Islamic Antichrist," "Mid-East Beast," and "Mystery Babylon."]]
The Return of the King
   --The Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 / Matthew 24:29-31 / Mark 13:24-27)
*Jesus will call all believers to Himself, and we'll be instantly in our glorified resurrection bodies (1 Corinthians 15:50-54)
•Jesus Returns as Conquering King, with all the Resurrected Saints at His side (Revelation 19:11-16).
•Jesus destroys the enemy nations surrounding Israel on His way to rescue the remnants of the Jews in Jerusalem (Isaiah 63:1-6; cf Zechariah 9)
•Jesus ascends the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem
*The Mount of Olives splits in two, creating a way of escape for the Jews trapped in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:4-5).
   --The Battle of Armaggeddon (Zechariah 14 / Joel 3 / Ezekiel 38-39 / Revelation 19)
•Jesus meets the Antichrist and his massive army in the Valley of Migeddo outside Jerusalem, and utterly lays waste to them (Revelation 19:15-21).
•All of the Jews saved by Jesus will turn to Him with their whole hearts, acknowledging Him as Messiah and King, fulfilling the prophecy that all Israel would be saved.  They will be welcomed to live under Jesus' rule (Romans 11:26-27; cf Jeremiah 23:5-6 / Isaiah 10:20-23 / Zechariah 9:14-17).
•The Antichrist and False Prophet are seized and thrown alive into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 19:20).
•Satan is seized and bound, then sealed in the Bottomless Pit (Revelation 20:1-3).
•The Lord sends out a plague into all the nations that served the Beast.  The survivors among the nations will surrender to the Lord (Zechariah 14:12, 15-16)
*Although it isn't explicitly stated, I believe that this plague will kill only the people who took the Mark of the Beast; the small amount of people from the nations who survived the Tribulation, who never accepted Jesus, but never worshipped the Beast or took the Mark are the survivors mentioned in Zechariah 14.   They will be brought to stand before the Lord in Jerusalem, where He will divide the sheep from the goats.  The sheep will be permitted to live under Jesus' rule, provided they surrender to Him and acknowledge Him as King (just like the remnant of the Jews); the goats will be cast into Hell. (Matthew 25:31-46)
•The Lord establishes His Kingdom, taking His rightful place on David's Throne in Jerusalem.  Jesus will rule the whole world as King; Israel will be the dominant nation, and all other nations will serve them (Ezekiel 34:23-24 / Zechariah 8, 14:9, 16-19 / Isaiah 2:2-4, 9:6-7 / Revelation 20:4-6)
   --The Judgement Seat of Christ
•The Lord will judge the faithful who are now Resurrected; He will judge them not for sins, but for their faithfulness in obeying the Lord during their earthly lives, their diligence in pursuing God's call on their lives, and on witnessing for Christ (1 Corinthians 5:10 / 2 Corinthians 3:12-15 / Revelation 22:12)
[[There's no explicit timing given for this event in Scripture; my placing it here is my own speculation]]
--The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
•A grand feast celebrating the wedding of the Bride (the Church) to Christ; we will never be apart again, and we'll be bound together in love forever (Revelation 19:6-9)
[[As with the Judgement Seat of Christ, the timing of the Marriage Supper isn't clear; I speculate that it will occur after the Judgement Seat, and before the commencement of the Millennial Kingdom]]
   --The Millennial Kingdom
•The Kingdom will last for 1,000 years.  Jesus rules the earth as King (Revelation 20:6)
*All who were Raptured at the Lord's return exist in their glorified bodies (which are physical, powerful, and immortal).  We will no longer be married or given in marriage, and so we will no longer have children.  We will rule the earth along with Jesus (Matthew 22:30 / Philippians 3:20-21 / 1 John 3:2 / 1 Corinthians 15 / Revelation 20:4-6)
*All who survived the Tribulation and were permitted by the Lord to live in His Kingdom at His return will exist as natural humans, just as we all are now.  They will continue marrying and having children (Isaiah 65:18-23; Ezekiel 36:37-38 / Revelation 20:7-8).
*The earth is healed from the damage done to it during the Tribulation.  The curse laid down by God after the Fall will be lifted.  The enmity between animals and humans will be gone; animals will no longer harm humans, nor each other.  The earth will yield its strength to men again, making farming easy.  Women will no longer suffer in childbirth; having children will be easy, which will lead to a population explosion.  Everyone will have enough, and no one will suffer lack.  There will be no more war or fighting anywhere on the earth.  The world will be a genuine utopia for a thousand years.   All the nations will go to Israel once per year to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles (Romans 8:18-22 / Isaiah 11, 65:18-25 / Micah 4:1-5 / Ezekiel 36:33-36, 40-48 / Zechariah 14:16-19)
   --The Final Rebellion
•Satan is released from his prison. He will go about the whole earth and tempt all the natural humans who were born during the Millennial Age.  Satan will succeed in drawing away a huge number of those people, causing them to rebel against Jesus and attempt to overthrow His Kingdom (Revelation 20:7-8).
*The rebel army will march on Jerusalem and surround it, and then God will annihilate them all (Revelation 20:9).
*Satan will be caught again, and this time thrown into the Lake of Fire alongside the Antichrist and the False Prophet.  God will seal them in there permanently, where they will be punished day and night, forever.  Satan will never again harm anyone (Revelation 20:10).
--The Great White Throne Judgement (Revelation 20:11-15)
*All of the people who died in their sins from all of human history, who have been waiting in Hell this whole time, will be resurrected and brought before the Lord God for judgement.  Also, all the rebels from the Millennial Kingdom that followed Satan will be there.  They will be sentenced to a degree of punishment in the Lake of Fire that fits exactly the degree of wickedness that was present in their life.  "Death" and "Hell" are thrown in to the Lake of Fire as well, indicating that no one will ever again enter Hell, and no one will ever again die; the number of those who are in the Lake of Fire after the White Throne Judgement will never be added to.  The Lake will be sealed.
[[I speculate that at this point, all of the faithful from the Millennial Kingdom will be given glorified Resurrection bodies just like those who took part in the First Resurrection; the Bible isn't clear about when that will happen]]
The New Heaven and New Earth (Revelation 21-22:1-5)
•The Lord will make a brand new planet for us to live on (and I think "new heaven" could mean a brand new universe as well).
*The New Earth will not have an ocean.  There will be no sun, and no moon, and no day-night cycle.  It will be daytime all the time.  It will be a perfect paradise, where there will be no death, no suffering at all.
*The New Jerusalem will be a breathtaking masterpiece made from precious materials.  It will be huge, stretching more than 1,300 miles long, 1,300 miles wide, and 1,300 miles high.  The glory of God Himself will be in the city, and it will shine out, lighting the whole planet.
*There will be nations on the new planet, indicating that we will live not only in the city, but also all over the new world.  There will never be anything evil on the new earth; no sin, no darkness, no corruption.  We will live for the rest of forever in perfect peace with each other, enjoying God's magnificent company. Every day will be an adventure, every moment as exhilarating as the first; exciting, fun, and fulfilling, with no depression, sadness, stress, or boredom.
Revelation 22:3-5
"No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever."
Maranatha, Lord Jesus!

💝 Matthew Drake
Ah! My darling boy! He has so much promise, so much potential! I'll admit I doted on him to rile his Primogen at first, but he has become my heart's delight. It is like having a little brother again.
I have such faith in him that, should the worst come to pass in the seige, I have arranged for him to inherit my properties and feeding rights. He's that rare combination of talented but not a complete ass.
He'll go far if he can keep his wits about him. I know it. He can be the best of us.

These are machines utilized in assembling, for specialists and that is just the beginning. A CNC conversion kit from Heavy Metal can transform your milling machine into a CNC milling machine.
Where do you find these kits? Look online at a webpage that represents considerable authority in CNC milling machines. It especially makes sense to have a Heavy metal CNC mill conversion kit from the specialists. The kit will refresh your milling machine to the best in the class machine that will make your cutting and boring quicker and increasingly exact. Machines that interface with innovation have been demonstrated to be probably the ideal approaches to complete enormous and little employments. Work with an organization like Heavy Metal that offers the best quality conversion kits at a low cost.
Tumblr media
Benefits and advantages of having a conversion kit
There are various advantages you can have by updating with CNC conversion kit that helps you in production, having better machining to have the best quality. In addition, there is a tremendous preferred position to redesigning from manual activity to CNC. You are in an ideal situation buying an X2, X3, SX 2.7, G0704 #5500, #3990. PM833t or SX4 kits designed by reputed organizations like Seig, Harbor Freight Little Machine Shop, Precision Matthews or Grizzly. • The familiarity of the mechanical part of the machine by support reason
• The CNC conversion kit from Heavy Metal is more affordable and all the more promptly reasonable
• Can some of the time have finance support from maintenance spending plans in this manner dodging capital procedure
• The reason for a CNC conversion might be to give new life to a machine that is non-basic and additionally moderately modest. The machine might be one that sits inactive in light of the fact that you cannot find the required equipment for its dated control or because the control itself restricts the machine's capacities or makes it hard to utilize. The machine may likewise be a low-cost machining focus that an alternate control may make quicker, increasingly precise and repeatable.

A Thousand Bad Times - Poi Choreography by Drex
Tumblr media
Poi choreography through the streets of Silver Spring! 2 months ago after the Capitol Seige I spent a solid week as a mass of anxiety, wondering whether DC would be the target of another attack and what the future would bring. As I tried to flow out those feels with some poi dancing this song came on my mix and I felt empowered for the first time in a while. "I can take anything that you give me...it's going to take a lot more to kill me" landed with me and it helped me realize that everything was going to be okay. So I headed to Downtown Silver Spring with my friend Mufasa to record some traveling poi dance choreography in remembrance of that moment and connect with my body. Be sure to go follow him at to see the video I shot of him during this same session! In the meantime, enjoying this poi dancing performance to a new favorite track! Of Malice and Mercy (8:1 – 11, 4/23/2023)
COMMENTARY:
I use the KJV all the time for the poetry of its  interpretation. The Textus Receptus is actually a Greek translation of the Gutenberg KJ. It's like Genesis 41"32" the KJV "doubling" is a more vivid discription of the experience of the action of the Holy Spirit in the personal consciousness.
The numerology of Acts 10 suggests that Cornelius was attached in some manner to the X Legion which was  encamped on the Mout Olives during the seige and reduction of Jerusalem. John Mark had access to what we call Quelle, the intelligence archives assembled by Cornelius from the  eye witness spy accounts of Jesus routinely filed prior to His arrest.  John Mark is making the connection between Jesus and Cornelius. It is not unlikely that John Mark came to know Josephus.
I think John Mark appropriated this story to fit in with the erotic quality  of his narrative, This woman fits in with the woman with the chronic flow, the Samaritan Woman,. Martha and Mary on Palm Sunday, Mary or Bethany's reprise of Ruth covering the feet of Boaz . The anointing of Jesus in Mark is Peter's version of events, with  an allusion to the anointing of David by Jesus. Peter was a typical Jewish misogynist. Totally asexual but misogynist none the less. Who we know as Mary of Bethany was the alleged harlot of Peter's version and, as I say, she conducts a very public and erotic reprise of Ruth's marriage proposal to Boaz
This is where Hege's historical Gestalt from the Phenomenology of Spirit comes in hanty. Jesus is the singural figure in all four cospels, the leading edge of the epistemology of the narrative. There are 4 different fields defined by this singular figure  The Gospel of Mark has the Roman military sociology and the anthropology of a senior centurion of the Italian Cohort of the Praetorian Guard in Rome. The Praetorian Guard was the administrative state of the Roman Empire. When Constantine dismantled iin the wake of Milvian Bridge, the Roman began to fall apart within the century.
The Gospel fo John is the Jerusalem Sociology and the anthropology of a a Jewish boy between 12 and 15 years of age who who had a serious idol worship relationship with Jesus.
The Gospel of Matthew has the same Jewish sociology as Jesus and the anthropology of the Judaizer.
The Gospel of Luke is a Mediterranean Sociology and the cosmopolitan anthropology of a Greek OB/GYN with a Jewish book.
The anthropology of all four is profounding Hellenistic. The opening overture of the Gospel of John could have been the legend for Philo of Alexandria's school. The Alexandria Jews were fascinated by Hellenism and Plato. For one thing, Hebrews at that time had a vocabular of about 80,000 words and Greek had a vocabular of 250 - 3000,000 words which could get into the nooks and crannies of the Torah in  unbelievable ways.
Jesus died a virgin, but He was absolute catnip to the women around Him.
The Law of Moses worked like Sharia law ofr women: it was a woman's fault to get raped. The difference with what this woman was dealing with compared to the Samaritan woman is of the essence.  .
Anyway, Hegel's literary critical method celebrates the texture and emotional ambience of the horseradish of a Jewish boy's living memory of the raw charisma of Jesus in contrast to the emotinally flat Roman military journalism of the Gospel of Mark
As I've pointed out in previous commentary, εὐθὺς is an apparatus that demonstrates the grounding of the conical Gospels as grounded in Quelle that is missing from other contemporary writing, For example, The Gospel of Thomas has no similar grounding and can be authentically classified as representing the oral tradition of Christianity that Bart Ehrman insists of classifying the canan as representing.
In this regards, the Gospel of Matthew is a polemic composed to support Peter's claim to Church leadership and to his campaign as a Judaizer that Paul complains about in Galatians. The redaction analysis of Matthew against the Roman military journalism of Mak demonstrates that Mack captures all the theological dots coincidental to the singularity of Jesus without the anthropological connections of  Matthew,. For example, Peter's testimony in Mark fails to mention the episode of Peter walking on water It is probably a fabrication to advance Peter's status with the Jerusalem Church after the Jerusalem Conference.
Another thing you brushed against in this commentary is that the Roman presence is totally airbrushed out of John. As I've pointed out before, the healing of the healing of the Official's son was a reworked version of the encounter in both Matthew and Luke with the centurion .
John makes clear in John 18:26 that there is no Jewish witness to what happens in the Praetorium, that everything to come out of it, especially Mark 16, is Roman testimony. Mark 15 is a summary of the intelligence report Pilate sent to Rome after the Resurrection that Turtillian cites from Roman archives in Book V of his Apology. The Gospel of Peter is probably the version of Mark 15 that Cornelius relayed to Peter during their initial debriefing after Peter's confession in Acts 10 34 - 43.
When yo realize that the singular figure of Jesus is the Hegelian narrative constant in the 4 Gospels, the beauty and physical charisma of Jesus truly begins to explode out of history determined by the historical critical analysis of Marx. John Dominick Crossan notwithstanding, the Romans were a largely laissez=faire administration. There essential mission in Palestine was to patrol and police the trade routes coming down from Europe and across the Levant from Asia to the land bridge into Africa at Gaza. The mention of the Herodians in Mark demonstrates that the Roman intelligence services kept up with the internal politics of Jerusalem, but they only really surrounded Jerusalem with two legions during Passover as a crowd control measure rather that an exercise in oppression (from the Roman perspective. The Romans were fully aware of the various political factions in Judea, and they were totally blindsided by the delivery of Jesus to execution bu the Herodians and Zealots.
Christianity is a Roman covenant and it wouldn't exist without Mark 15. And the combination of the narrative of John with the narrative of Mark serves to illustrate the sheer voluptuousness of the person of Jesus as He moves through region. When the combination of Mark and John reveals just how peripetia Jesus and the Apostles were during those three years,  Richard Bauckham's commentary on the geography of the Gospels would blow Bart Ehrman totally out of the water in a rational world.
Cornelius was in the room with Jesus during Pilate's interrogation. The Gospel of Mark is what happened BEFORE Mark 15 from contemporary spy reports and the eyewitness accounts of Peter, Cornelius and John Mark, as a character, contributor, editor and publisher of the Gospel of Cornelius, John Mark, editor and publisher. As Dan Wallace points out, 90% of the manuscripts before the 4th century came out of Alexandria, the first Christian publishing house.

Ohfleurdebois' Wish List
If you're interested in any of these, just shoot me a message! We can change and add anything as we go along, none of this is set in stone. Just some general ideas of things I'd like to do at some point. Some of them are character specific, mostly for FACE Family interactions in the historic list, but the rest are open to anyone.
Historic
Before the Revolution
Matthew is actually really swept up in the revolutionary talk before war breaks out. He visits Alfred and listen to the impassioned speeches, meet the figure heads of the movement, etc. Then he gets sick – he realizes that he can't exist if he engages in this revolution. He'd fade away, he's not strong enough to exist on his own. During this time, Arthur takes care of him, nurses him back to health, and Matthew grows closer to him, more loyal. When the time comes to make his decision, he sides with Britain.
Peche Island
Alfred and Matthew run into each other in August of 1812, on an island in the middle of the Detroit River, days before the Seige of Detroit. They haven't seen each other in a long time, and decide just for the night to put the war behind them and just talk. All the while, Matthew is struggling with the guilt of knowing that the British will attack in just a few days.
Rebellions
During the rebellions in 1838, Arthur confronts Matthew about Mackenzie and the other Rebels. It's tense, because while Matthew doesn't necessarily agree with them on all accounts, he can't stand not having a voice in his own government any longer.
First time seeing Francis, after the Seven Year War, 1830's
Could be Matthew's first time to Europe since the wars, when things have calmed down. It's been decades since Matthew's seen Francis, and he's accompanying Arthur to Paris. He's grown up considerably since they've last seen each other, and Matthew still has a lot of bitterness toward him- not only from feelings of abandonment, but Francis' part in wars against him, when he was just fighting for his own existance. The most infuriating part is that he can't hate him.
20th Century
The first time Matt meets the other Nations as an 'adult'
Early 20th century, Matt's first meeting in Europe on his own. He's sort of trying to shed the stigma of being a harsh wilderness clinging to Britain.
Montreal in the 40's
This place was the shit. Could be any nation come to visit, and they just hang out. Montreal was this massive congregation of immigration and art at the time, it'd be really cool to explore that.
Arriving in Europe during WWI
Pretty much anything in WWI? It was such a turning point for Canadian Identity, and Matt would have been arriving with a drive to prove himself, to show that he could fight with the strongest of nations and hold his own. Like kid calm down the war will still be there when you get to the front.
Modern
Shooting Range
Matt's a crack shot, and while he doesn't like to be cocky, he can get c o m p e t i t i v e. Maybe a friendly wager ensues?
Snowed in
It's winter in Canada! What do you expect? A massive snow storm hits, cutting power while another nation is visiting. So, they're stuck in Matthew's apartment, which leads to candles and blankets and probably booze.
Some Scooby Doo shit
Ghost tours in abandoned places! Or trying to solve dumb mysteries! I have no actual plot for this but it sounds like fun.

About the Photographer:
George W. Armstead, from Columbus, Ohio, was very active with a profitable business for a year and a half during the years 1862 and 1863. He operated with partners under the names Armstead & White and Armstead & Taylor.
Armstead started his studio in Corinth during its occupation by Union forces in May 1862 following the seige of that city by soldiers under the command of General Henry Halleck. The Second Battle of Corinth in October 1862 saw a failed effort by Confederates to recapture Corinth.
Armstead made many carte de viste portraits of mainly soldiers in the Union army. He also took some photos of outdoor scenes such as the iconic image of Confederate Colonel William P. Rogers' body among his dead comrades after the battle of Corinth.
After the war, Armstead continued his business in Columbus, Ohio where he was originally from. In 1885, he moved to Nebraska and established another studio "Armstead & Sons" in North Bend.

According to writer Francis Trevelyan Miller in his 1912 series The Photographic History of the Civil War in Ten Volumes, "George Armstead was a wonderful photographer, rivaling Matthew Brady at his best."
Clothing of Slaves
[From the Narrative and Testimony of Rev. Francis Hawley,Baptist Pastor in Colebrook, Litchfield county, Connecticut, who has resided fourteen years in the slave states, North and South Carolina.]
“The rule, where slaves are hired out, is two suits of clothes per year one pair of shoes, and one blanket; but as it relates to the great body of the slaves, this cannot be called a general rule. On many plantations, the children under ten or twelve years old, go entirely naked—or, if clothed at all, they have nothing more than a shirt. The cloth is of the coarsest kind, far from being durable or warm; and their shoes frequently come to pieces in a few weeks. I have never known any provision made, or time allowed for the washing of clothes.
If they wish to wash, as they have generally but one suit, they go after their day's toil to some stream, build a fire, pull off their clothes and wash them in the stream, and dry them by the fire; and in some instances they wear their clothes until they are worn off, without washing. I have never known an instance of a slaveholder putting himself to any expense, that his slaves might have decent clothes for the Sabbath.
If, by making baskets, brooms, mats, &c. at night or on Sundays, the slaves can get money enough to buy a Sunday suit, very well. I have never known an instance of a slaveholder furnishing his slaves with stockings or mittens. I know that the slaves suffer much, and no doubt many die in consequence of not being well clothed.
American Slavery As It Is by Theodore Dwight Weld New York: American Anti-Slavery Society, 1839

Here’s Booker T. Washington recalls the clothing he wore as a slave:
One thing I remember more vividly than any other in connection with the days when I was a slave was my dress, or, rather, my lack of dress.
The years when the war (The War of the Rebellion, 1860-65) was in progress between the States were especially trying to the slaves, so far as clothing was concerned. The Southern white people found it extremely hard to get clothing for themselves during that war, and, of course, the slaves underwent no little suffering in this respect.
The only garment that I remember receiving from my owners during the war was a "tow shirt." When I did not wear this shirt I was positively without any garment. In Virginia, the tow shirt was quite an institution during slavery. This shirt was made of the refuse flax that grew in that part of Virginia, and it was a veritable instrument of torture. It was stiff and coarse. Until it had been worn for about six weeks it made one feel as if a thousand needle points were pricking his flesh. I suppose I was about six years old when I was given one of these shirts to wear. After repeated trials the torture was more than my childish flesh could endure and I gave it up in despair.
To this day the sight of a new shirt revives the recollection of the tortures of my first new shirt. In the midst of my despair, in connection with this garment, my brother John, who was about two years older than I, did me a kindness which I shall never forget. He volunteered to wear my new shirt for me until it was "broken in." After he had worn it for several weeks I ventured to wear it myself, but not without pain.
Soon after my shirt experience, when the winter had grown quite cold, I received my first pair of shoes. These shoes had wooden bottoms, and the tops consisted of a coarse kind of leather. I have never felt so proud since of a pair of shoes.

Day 242 / Aug 29
Ezekiel 1-4
1: In the 30th year of Ezekiel, and the 5th year of exile, Ezekiel was chilling on the banks of the Chedar in Babylon, when suddenly, he had a vision The vision really is undescribable, just go read verses 4-28, but I'll do my best A wind out the north with cloud and lightning and brightness In the middle were four creatures, each with four wings and four faces With two they held up some sort of platform and with two they covered themselves The four faces were those of a Man, a Lion, an Ox and an Eagle You might recognize these as the animals associated with the four Evangelists Below each of them was a wheel, within a wheel and the wheel was covered in eyes The wheel seemed attached to the creatures Above the creatures was a vast expanse with a throne Below the sapphire blue sky, there was a humanoid figure with a ridiculously bright glow This, Ezekiel realized, was the "appearance of the likeness of the Glory of God"
2: God tells Ezekiel to get up because he has something to say He commissions Ezekiel to be a prophet on God's behalf, telling Israel about the word of God He says to not be dismayed, because no one's gonna like the words you're saying and you'll have a Cassandra complex After that, God tells Ezekiel to eat a scroll filled with woe and lamentations Who knows, maybe it was Lamentations?
3: Ezekiel eats the scroll and it tastes like hone God tells him to preach to his people, but warns that even foreigners would be more inclined to listen to him that rebelious Israel God really makes sure that Ezekiel will tell the word of God Then the Spirit carried Ezekiel off to Tel Aviv (a different one?) by the Chebar and there Ezekiel stayed dumbfounded for a week After that, Yahweh threatened him with eternal damnation if he doesn't tell and preach the word of God Basically, if Ezekiel doesn't do it and a person, Ezekiel will be held responsible for their sin But if he warns the person, and the person still does it, then Ezekiel's in the clear They then go to a plain where again he saw the glory of God Here he tells him that he'll be under house arrest, but he can still proselytize
4: Now's the time for public display First, a diorama of Jerusalem getting seiged with an iron plate Second, lying on his right side, tied up, for 390 days, because that's how many years the Northern Kingdom was punished And after that, 40 days on his left side, for Judah Through that year, he can only eat rations of bread, prepared above a fire fueled by human shit, and he can only drink rations of water Ezekiel objects that human shit is too clean, so God relents and mandates cow dung instead Through these grotesque public displays, the public will be forced to hear the word of God
Ezekiel Pt 1 Ezekiel Pt 2 Wi ki
Today's Verse is for those Instagram "influencers"
"But when you do merciful deeds, don't let your left hand know what your right hand does," Matthew 6:3 WEB
