for all that i might compare colleis writing to scara with scara working as a weird sort of mirror world alternate look into collei if she wasnt smited by misogynistic writing decisions. scaras writing is not all that good either
#like his whole thing w rebirth and tying that into sumeru as a whole + paralleling nahida is well done#but if youre to take his quest at face value it think it can very easily and very dangerously come across as going#''well. Killing myself is the answer.'' and then that . not actually being meaningfully refuted#<- which okay arguable. they do take the time to say he was wrong for it. which is. a whole other thing on how genshin handles#suicide/self sacrifice in the first place. but i digress. its just the fact that materially him attempting to erase his existence#..did kind of absolve him from his problems. WHICH. #like. he and his partner just spent a week biking in italy and having a fab time while i'm studying for ib finals at home and taking exams#supposedly the most stressful and busiest month in our lives so far#and now the entire day he's been getting on my ass about how the kitchen table (where i study) is messy and how the bathroom is untidy etc#like mister hello?? i'm trying to learn my entire high school's worth of material in one month and you can't move one notebook before eatin#and i'm honestly handling it well so far. getting everything done. not super stressed. working very very late but sleeping enough#while also taking care of a cat and a dog with no help every day#he's had literally zero work with my entire education and all the straight As (admittedly more cause i remember fast than due to hard work)#but by how he's talking you'd think i'm doing heroin under his roof every day and routinely setting our house on fire#*long sigh*#noodle rambles

Tbh my biggest fear for the finale isn't that we won't get dadrius. My biggest fear is that dadrius will be shoehorned in in a way that makes Darius look bad.
Like I still can't believe that they did Gus' character so dirty in FTF. But the fandom was able to overlook that because we know that Gus and Hunter are friends. Darius gets so little screentime it's like. He has zero wiggle room here.

He definitely is sensitive to certain kinds of tags on shirts and pants, and incredibly loud noises. Rooms full of people loudly talking or shouting he can't exactly handle well. He also really hates the texture of velvet and scratchy woolen materials. Mostly scratchy materials at all, really, and the feeling of grass. Speaking of grass, he hates the smell of dirt as well.
Foodwise, he can't stand the mouthfeel of Jello or yogurt.
