this episode was SO UP MY ALLY YOU DONT UNDERSTAND.

eclipse acting quick and not really thinking things through after hearing jake's voice, just trying to help his kid, getting tricked, then supposedly being skinned alive to be used as a meat suit while the mimic still uses jake's voice the entire time.

being trapped in his own head again after years is so unbelievably fucked up, especially in the way it was done too. just like the first time he is stuck watching, fighting for freedom as someone else lives his life, right in front of his very own eyes, and he is helpless to do anything about it

it also feels like a tad of a "taste of your own medicine" situation, very reminiscent of the OLD old tsams arcs with the whole theme of control

10/10 episode very sick and twisted i highly recommend

Welcome to Phrankenstine, an au where Vlad takes the place of Dr. Frankenstein, and Danny is his monster.

Detailed summary: Danny dies in the portal accident, Jazz is blinded, and the family is broken. Vlad- a scarred, broken recluse- hears about Danny’s death and sees an opportunity.

Vlad defiles Danny’s grave and resurrects him with power from his own ghost portal- only realize what came back wasn’t Danny…or more accurately, it was Danny, but he wasn’t the same boy who died in the accident.

Now with all the powers and attributes of a powerful ghost, Daniel is used by Vlad as his personal henchmen, sending him to do all the dirty work, all while treating him like what he is, a powerful creature with no soul…

But Daniel is slowly coming to realize, his master might be wrong… maybe he did have a soul… could he really be more than just a monster?
