To me they are so cool àd love theire designs ! Also i love they positive relation with theire son....I would love to see them together at least ....🥹 !!

I'm curious abt his parents and family, do he know them ? Are they close ? Are they even still alive ?

Hello and thank you for sending to meeee for my Kohga's birthday!! <3 <3

Sadly Kohga's parents have both passed, but he was very close with them while they were alive. My dear Bast @purpledemonart drew his Mama, Hotaru, and his Dad, the previous Master Kohga if you wanna see them! Aaaand Koh's an only child--descended from two quite long lines of Clan members and Masters, and he's got distant-er cousins and stuff, but he's currently the last of his direct 'bloodline.'

Kohga was (and still is tbh despite her being gone) a total mama's boy. His mother was his very favorite person and he looked up to her so much. She taught him how to play the shamisen when he was a young child, and also gave him lessons in calligraphy and poetry and strategy games, which were some of her favorite hobbies. <3 They always had so much fun together, playing and laughing and learning. Little Kohga loved nothing more than to climb in his Mama's lap and listen to her tell stories--except maybe ONE thing he loved more was playing music with her! He could always go to her for advice. Hotaru was an elegant woman who almost never raised her voice and never ever swore but, as a Yiga Footsoldier, she was also deadly of course~ Her death was a huge blow to Kohga, as she died young (only 50) and only about a year after he became the Master. She was truly instrumental in shaping him, and he still feels the loss acutely.

Meanwhile Daddy Kohga was a big strong goofball! A very confident, easygoing fellow who really knew what he was about. Kohga also looked up to his father, and got a lot of his swag and sense of humor from him. Daddy was a blademaster, and his key strength as a Master was in morale-building. He could be rather reckless, though, and needed to be reined in from some more daring plans. (He really loved to mess with Urbosa's mother, like he was often specifically doing little things that he knew would annoy the crap out of her when she found out.) Kohga has great memories from being a teenager and his dad asking him his opinion about stuff--treating him like his ideas mattered! He was a great guy, honestly, and Kohga misses him deeply, too. I don't wanna get too much into Daddy's death at the moment but suffice it to say it was violent and untimely, and of course the reason Best Guy Kohga became the Master at only twenty-five years old.

Sooo both Koh's parents were very cool people, and they loved their boy so much. They're a big part of why he's got such a big personality himself!

(PS my Kohga would definitely get a kick out of Zanni and think she's hilarious. <3)

This is a very late response, but can I just say that never in my LIFE did I think anyone would call me their favorite artist??? The amount of support I’ve been getting recently is just so unreal because I used to really dislike my art and I still am very insecure about it. I think it just kinda proves artist blindness and how the creator really cannot comprehend what their art actually looks like

Though he’d never put himself in harm’s way, so I definitely see that third drawing happening on the castle grounds where Zelda is definitely not in any danger

Remake of a comic I did a while back. I got this idea after wondering how the Yiga powered their constructs when they didn't use Zonai batteries. I took inspiration from one of Kohga's attacks in Age of Calamity. Sooga put the poor Blademasters to work ever since Kohga was fished out of the depths. (This is their punishment for being lured out of their posts by suspiciously placed bananas.)
