CONFESSION:

It annoys to me to this day that we can tell Legion off for having a piece of Shepard's armor, but we can't call out Liara for that creepy shrine.

I mean when you think about it Legion collected it from a debris field two years after Shepard's death. Liara got her piece from Shepard's body when the body was still fresh when she was in the process of giving it to Cerberus. Legion used what he found for repairs. I don't find anything wrong with that. My Shepard was in the process of getting to know and understand Legion. I always headcanon my Shepards not caring about it. The armor shrine in Liara's apartment was weird and off putting.

HOT TAKE: The Arrival DLC in ME2 isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Dr. Amanda Kenson was a lot like Saren and TIM but different at the same time. She knew she was indoctrinated but wanted everyone else to think she wasn't so that she could get Shepard to come "save her" because that's what the Reapers wanted. Perhaps they figured getting Shepard there in attempt to kill them give the Reapers the upperhand in winning the war since their biggest that is gone.

And, of course, this ended up backfiring since Shepard was able to (sort of) stop her. Now, of course, the ending ended up being a lose-lose situation because Shepard wasn't able to save the Batarians. And it want for a lack of trying, either. While the ending sucked, sure, I think it's pretty genius because it shows that we can't always get the best of both worlds, that we can't always save everyone, and it sucks. We saw this in ME1 with Virmire and Saren. We saw this in ME3 with the boy, TIM, Thane, and possibly the Virmire Savior. Hell, even Garrus witnessed this between ME1 and ME2 with his crew.

So I honestly think the Arrival DLC is actually pretty genius and not as bad as people made it out to be. Because Shepard explained to Hackett that he genuinely tried his best to save the Batarians.

As if the Project Overlord DLC wasn't traumatic enough as a numbers autistic myself, now I'm aware of how stupid the naming convention is for the bases. Hermes, Prometheus, and Vulcan? No consistency.

it's the finale of the main game...damn did ME2 throw me for some loops but they were great and Let the record shows I took all the blows and did it my way!

Done being always on the run and not being prepared, Lara is going on the offensive and Trinity isn't going to know what hit them!

garrus lives rent free in my mind. garrus can do no wrong. he may be conflicted with his sense of justice but lest you forget that this man dropped everything multiple times to join his lady in saving the galaxy. he recognized her as soon as he saw her on Omega. he never questioned if she was really shepard after being brought back by cerberus. he said to hell with turian standards AND GRABBED HER HAND ON MENAE. he is simply unmatched.

Thinking of the citadel dlc again. Thinking of how, at the first silhouette of Kai Leng you see when you're talking to TIM i immediately assumed it was a clone of Shepard because "Of course they recorded all of shep's biometrics before shipping them off for galaxy-saving; that's just common sense in case they explode again or betray cerberus"

AND THEN it wasn't a clone it was just some guy

And then it fucking was again and I had no one to yell at "I FUCKING KNEW YOU GUYS HAD ANOTHER ONE LAYING AROUND"

does anyone know if a mod exists that puts Kasumi in formal wear or anything but her neon sign outfit for her loyalty mission? and any mod that lets your crew out of their alliance uniforms for the citadel dlc?

or any similar mods that do not need the community patches or anything else before you install it? (because I am an idiot who still cannot figure out how to install those things let alone make a backup of the game lol)
