Lucy groans quietly as she shifts in Seviper's coils, pulling a throw blanket tighter around her beleaguered frame. Various coins, gaming chips, and empty bottles of Fresh Water (and a half-emptied Elixir, for some reason?) are scattered around the apex of the Pike where she and her team now rest. Evidently, it had been a long night on the town...and the Frontier Brain is currently dealing with the aftermath in...well, her own way.

And yet, despite the monarch's present condition, the Pike is still technically open. Work hard, play hard--and Lucy's never taken a sick day from her reign, lest she 'fall behind' her colleagues...or--even worse--have another reason to be indebted to Scott again.

At least no visitors are scheduled for today--thank god. Brain off, Masquerain sleep mask on...

Tangled Themed Mass Attack!!!!

Animation:

Animation wise I ended up not being able to import the svg file so had to rasterize the layers which made an unfortunate huge difference to what I could animate. But despite that, I'm still proud that I completed it and got the chance to see so many tangled ocs!

If anybody's partaking in ArtFight and has tangled ocs, I might still want to do some none-animated art in the show's style so you should send them my way!!

Howdy! Would you happen to have any bug pokemon that are available for adoption? :D

We are never short of pokemon XD I see that you are a professor's apprentice, right? Outside of pokemon, we have a lot of pokemon eggs that you can adopt. I imagine raising a bug type from the egg would help you understand certain habits and traits easier. I'll leave a note at the end with all the pokemon egg's species but now, some of the pokemon: Oak the pinsir; She was a house pokemon caught by someone's grandchild as a gift to their grandparents. Oak is level-headed and calm, also trained to do a lot of housework like tending a garden and putting away groceries. She is missing one 'horn' but outside of being a little insecure, she is fine. The nurses suspect she was born like this.

Mask the masquerain; Some kid decided he was not strong enough and sadly dumped him. He likes acting like a hat but he might not get along with other pokemon if he gets jealous. He never got aggressive or anything, just loudly huffing and puffing to show how upset he is for not getting attention 24/7

EMO GURL the swadloon; Some kid decided it was a good idea to name her like this, in full caps. Don't ask me why, just know she seems to be pretty open to being called something else so you won't have much problem changing her name. She also might have a few scars but she covers herself up pretty great so we aren't sure.

Wimpy the Wimpod: Wimpy was rescued from an evil team. I'm not sure which one but she is missing a few legs. As far as we can tell it's not affecting her movements but the poor thing has only been here for a few days. She is not really opening up so you might need to work extra hard to make her warm up to you.

Honorable mentions to Snowcone the snom who likes to chew on my shoes and that one annoying cutiefly who likes to headbutt me in the face. I hope you choose them.

There was a letter in the mail. Penned by Shay. It was simple and to the point... on Dracomet Sanctuary paper? Who sent those anymore?

'If you ever feel like taking a vacation from your throne, theres a couple of shiny Ekans we just got in who would fit your MO if you wanted to make an adoption. Or I can come by. You're on a priority list.'

Sure this was a gift, albeit a weird one from one awkward purple woman. There were a couple of pictures of said serpents as well. A male and female, with some basic information on the back of each.

Hmm...

Adjusting her Masquerain sleep mask, Lucy hums as she casually thumbs through the attached photos, appreciating the greenish tint of the shiny specimens. Priority list, huh...?

The Pike Queen smiles. As blunt and closed-off as Shay could be, perhaps she was finally crumbling under the serpentine's charm? Regardless of outcome, this was all turning into a fun little game, wasn't it?

She'd much prefer to earn her Ekans through competition (her ongoing, prideful wager with Sierra demands that), but since she was headed to the Kanjoh region following her brief stint in Alola, anyways...a quick visit to the sanctuary to see Shay wouldn't hurt.

For this thoughtful Delibird Day gift, some proper thanks was in order...
