BAND YAROUZE!! Dream Match Duel GIG 2023 RAVEN/ADVENT DAY2 (24 March 2023)
Almost forgot to buy a viewing ticket! Just finished watching it and it was SOOO GOOD!!
Anyway, Banyaro used Stagecrowd for its international livestream. Everything went smoothly. Payment was easy and the stream quality was great!
The entire concert was just shy of 3 hours long. Day 2 focuses on Osiris and I think they sang all of Osiris' songs, including Kyo's character song!
Masanori Kobayashi was mostly in character as Kyo for most of the concert while Yoji Ikuta had trouble staying in Yamato's character! He even mentioned during one of the intermission talks that he had to keep reminding himself that he was Yamato! XD He also kept saying he was 'eternally 17'. (Was that Yamato's age in the game? Can't remember.) And Kobayashi-san was all 'Stop, it's been 3 years. We're now 20.' XDD
'Kyo' had great fun during 'Bloody Masquerade', where he walked among the audience while singing. He was very 'I'm a rock god' as fans reached out to touch him when he walked past them. He held hands with at least two fans for quite a few seconds, which totally made their year! XDD 'Yamato' called him out for that later, and 'Kyo' seemed rather embarrassed. I think he said it was his first time doing something like that.
Osiris' version of 'Guruguru Magic' was sooo cute~!! Complete with 'Kyo' being cute~ :3c Blast's version of 'Whiz' was great too, though 'Yamato' had to tune his voice at the beginning to get the right pitch! XDD
And I think Osiris sang one of Blast's songs. Not sure which one but it sounded familiar. (I've never really paid much attention to Blast's songs...)
At the end, there was a special guest - Raphael! (Well, it was guitarist who I think played Raphael's solo in the game?)
And the last vocal song was 'Heavenly Breeze'~ ♡
Buying Day 2 was a great choice as Osiris was definitely the main focus with Blast kind of playing support. I guess it was the other way round for Day 1?

I'm on a quest to find a bizarre lost film
When I was a freshman at Chapman University's Dodge College of Media, my roommate and I came across an archive of old senior theses. One of them, a mysterious little film called Zero: The Virtual Game, caught our attention. 8 years later, I remembered it at random and I can't stop thinking about it. It was made all the way back in 2001, and was probably the most 2001 student film ever.
It was a trippy Matrix ripoff shot on camcorder, featuring over the top kung fu fights, a nonsense plot about a man with a special CD who uses his hacker abilities to warp reality on his cheapo Dell desktop, and the crowning moment of all: a fight scene where the protagonist decapitates himself and launches his head like a missile at the BBEG. He survives.
I went digging to find the director based on what little I remembered about him. Eventually, I found my guy. His name is Masanori Kobayashi, best known for his work on the Resident Evil franchise as a cutscene and ADR director.
But his film is nowhere online. It has no IMDB page or anything. The only evidence this film even exists is a single paragraph on an ancient Geocities blog. Supposedly, it played at a film festival. At least one theater full of people saw it.
"ifilm.com" is long gone. I tried WayBackMachine with no luck.
I even sent an email to the guy's production company in English and Japanese, but haven't heard back. And that leaves me here. If anyone out there has any information on this, let me know. The world deserves to see this strange little film.

Its me! Fish recognizes itself in photographs say scientists
Science News from research organizations 1 2 A big step forward in vertebrate cognitive function research Date: February 10, 2023 Source: Osaka Metropolitan University Summary: Scientists have demonstrated that fish think ‘it’s me’ when they see themselves in a picture. The researchers found that the determining factor was not the fish seeing their own body but seeing their face. Share: FULL STORY A research team led by Specially Appointed Professor Masanori Kohda from the Graduate School of Science at the Osaka Metropolitan University has demonstrated that fish think “it’s me” when they see themselves in a picture. The researchers found that the determining factor was not seeing their own body but seeing their face. These findings have been published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. advertisement In this study, relevant experiments were conducted with Labroides dimidiatus, commonly known as a cleaner fish, which are known to be able to recognize themselves in mirrors and regularly attack other unfamiliar cleaner fish who intrude on their territory. Each cleaner fish was presented with four photographs: a photo of themselves; a photo of an unfamiliar cleaner; a photo of their own face on an unfamiliar cleaner’s body; and a photo of unfamiliar cleaner’s face on their own body. Interestingly, the cleaner fish did not attack photos with their own faces but did attack those with the faces of unfamiliar cleaner fish. Together these results indicate that the cleaner fish determined who was in the photograph based on the face in the photo but not the body in the similar way humans do. To negate the possibility that the fish considered photographs of themselves as very close companions, a photograph mark-test was conducted. Fish were presented with a photograph where a parasite-like mark was placed on their throat. Six of the eight individuals that saw the photograph of themselves with a parasite mark were observed to rub their throats to clean it off. While showing those same fish pictures of themselves without parasite marks or of a familiar cleaner fish with parasite marks did not cause them to rub their throats. “This study is the first to demonstrate that fish have an internal sense of self. Since the target animal is a fish, this finding suggests that nearly all social vertebrates also have this higher sense of self,” stated Professor Kohda. advertisement Story Source: Materials provided by Osaka Metropolitan University.
