My birthday isn't for a couple months yet, but I am thinking about my various F/Os and how they would help with my issues around birthday (I have a complex relationship to it, I have like 3 days that could count as my birthday: the day I was born (hate it), my legal name change date (forget that date often oops), and my chosen birthday (also forget this one lol), and I am scared of sharing them with people sometimes) and I think that's cool and epic of me actually

I realize you're 19 but I'm honestly curious if you think labor unions are "socdem shit" because if so Tumblr has educated you very poorly on the history of both actually existing communism and labor unions

Labor unions are good! They're an essential tool for gaining control of the MOP/etc. and raising class consciousness tbh. I know some people think labor unions are antiquated but some of the largest gains for the proletariat within capitalist societies have come from union work.

Overthrowing the bourgeoise doesn't happen overnight and it's important for the working class to have the rights they can while in this hellscape.

I just added communism and said "REAL socialism" to the post because I wanted to plug that if people like what's going on and the idea of unions, they should look into actual socialism too - not the demsoc/socdem bs.

Dw about Tumblr educating me btw, I didnt get what I know from here. I haven't read much theory but I've read enough of it and things based on it to have an internal understanding. Brain is too mush to explain things well.
