I can't help but feel like Warlin Door (Alan Wake 2) was supposed to echo Martin Hatch (Quantum Break). They seem to exist in different states of reality all at once. Dead and alive, neither dead nor living, and can bend the world to their whims (to a certain extent).

So, I've been constantly thinking that maybe the character was one Lance Reddick was supposed to portray. It was pretty much in his wheelhouse (tall and imposing, spooky guy connected to a grander mystery). But that's probably not the case.

It would've been cool, though.

So when Chester Bless shows up in Control 2, who else thinks/hopes that he'll be played by Aidan Gillen?

He did such a good job as Paul Serene. Like you almost want to believe his insane vision. He could bring that exact energy to the overarching antagonist to the Remedyverse, and with Tim Breaker and Warlin Door (who was supposed to be Lance Reddick), we'd finally have a full Quantum Break reunion.

David Harewood is so fucking good as Mr. Door already i trust him with that role with my whole life he already seems perfect. just host a show like normal as if the guy whos guest starring isnt visibly confused and on the verge of tears. great voice and mannerisms. i love him.

Saga im so excited for what shes gonna do in her gameplay sections and how she finds out about Mr. Scratch and how she's going to handle Alan being in a barely sane state of mind when she just wants to know what the fuck is going on. i need to know if she talks more about her family and if she's worried that the Dark Presence will slip its way outside of Bright Falls. and i need. i NEED. to know her relationship with Alex i need it so bad.

I WANNA KNOW IF THE TWO ALEX'S AND SAM MEET I HAVE TO KNOW. ITS VITAL THIS IS IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

The material of a Shifter and the material of the Dark Place were both ontologically porous. They sieved though each other. Warlin Door was so unkillable it was infuriating. He was a rock in the teeth, an unsolved riddle. He was a tool in the hand. If he could not be murdered he would be seduced.
