Found a page for most of the ripoffs. Within the thread there's a playlist of all the significantly better songs she stole 💖
The song "The Girl Next Door" by Saving Jane is so true. The songs are exactly the same. It's sad that Marti Dodson never got any kind of compensation.
Im going through this playlist if anyone wants to listen for reference - link

PASSPO☆ - Pretty Lie
Bulgarian translation of PASSPO☆ - Pretty Lie/ Български превод на PASSPO☆ - Pretty Lie
LYRICS + COMPOSITION : Marti Dodson, Fredrik Thomander, Patric Sarin
LYRICS (JAPANESE): Sakurauriichigo (桜瓜苺)
ARRANGEMENT: Bamboo Helicopter
(Pretty Lie)
Original Lyrics

268 Directors and the end of the blog
This post marks the end of the Ask a Director experiment. I’m so grateful to all who have contributed, supported and engaged with it over the past six and a half years.
This blog was started at a time when I felt incredibly alone in the directing field. I had always been taught that a director operates solo, that it was a lonely career and above all, it was based on scarcity. This was a style of working and living that didn't fit for me. I wanted to talk to other directors about their practice and thoughts about the field, both national and international. This blog was started as a way to connect, to uplift other directors and to create a conversation about the changing field and practices.
It's surpassed all of these goals and brought me more joy than I can name.
I'm now at a moment where my practice and advocacy are taking different and exciting paths and it's time for me to put this site to bed. I remain committed to uplifting other directors, to talking about the practice, to flattening hierarchies, to opening doors for new ways of working, and leading rehearsal rooms, companies, and classrooms away from silos and vacuums. Featuring these 268 different directors was just the beginning.
I encourage you all to hire them (and others), advocate for them (and others) and choose to work in a system that values connection and generosity.

Snail: Fractal Altar (2021)
Snail: Fractal Altar (2021) - https://metalindex.hu/2021/07/09/snail-fractal-altar-2021/ -
Lágy, középtónusú orgánuma, hajlításai erősen emlékeztetnek a Queens of the Stone Age-es Josh Homme, és halványan Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains) hangszínére, énekstílusára.
A Kyusstól koncepciójától való különbözőség az album második felében, a The False Lack című nótától válik mind nyilvánvalóbbá. A továbbra is domináns stoneres ízekbe grunge-os, alteres felhangok vegyülnek, ami mindenekelőtt Johnson hangjában, énekstílusában ölt testet, plusz a muzsika alapvetően lassabbá, lágyabbá válik. A zene „természetesen” jó adag retró életérzést, 60-as, 70-es évekbeli örökséget is hordoz magában. A Nothing Left for You-t nem véletlenül tartják a lemez leg-Queens of the Stone Age-esebb szerzeményének, más nótákban pedig némi Nebula-, AIC- és Nirvana-feeling is tetten érhető.

"War" -Bob Marley "Until the philosophy  Which hold one race superior and another Inferior Is finally And permanently Discredited And abandoned Everywhere is war Me say war That until there no longer First class and second class citizens of any nation Until the color of a man's skin Is of no more significance than the color of his eyes Me say war That until the basic human rights Are equally guaranteed to all Without regard to race Dis a war That until that day The dream of lasting peace, World citizenship Rule of international morality Will remain in but a fleeting illusion to be pursued, But never attained Now everywhere is war War And until the ignoble and unhappy regimes That hold our brothers in Angola In Mozambique South Africa Sub-human bondage Have been toppled Utterly destroyed Well, everywhere is war Me say war War in the east War in the west War up north War down south War war Rumors of war And until that day, The African continent Will not know peace, We Africans will fight we find it necessary And we know we shall win As we are confident In the victory Of good over evil Good over evil, yeah Good over evil Good over evil, yeah Good over evil." Martin Francis King, of Jackson Hole, died Feb. 6 while listening to music and holding hands with his wife. His family provided the following.
Marty’s intelligence, sense of humor, kindness and empathy bound him to his family and friends. Those closest to him were most struck by his deep concern for others, his humility in the face of the successful life he built (despite his difficult upbringing) and his outgoing and gregarious nature. He was a wonderful and loving father who exemplified his core values of intellectual curiosity, education and empathy. It was the combination of these remarkable traits that made him a great man.
Marty was born Oct. 10, 1937, to Thomas and Catherine King in Boston and grew up in the strong Irish culture of the Dorchester area of South Boston. Raised almost entirely by their mother, who fought to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table, Marty and his brother, Tom, took strikingly different paths. While Marty led a life of educational pursuit, Tom became involved in organized crime and was murdered in 1974 by then-rival and later notorious mob boss Whitey Bulger.
Marty worked odd jobs while attending Boston Latin School, the oldest public high school in the country, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Graduating from MIT with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, he took a job with IBM in New York City, where he worked as a programmer on one of world’s first mainframe computers.
Upon earning his medical degree at the University of Rochester Medical School, Marty returned to Boston for his residency at Harvard Medical School’s teaching hospital, acting as teaching fellow in pathology. During those years he met and married Flora King. They had two sons, David, born in Boston in 1967, and Anthony, born in San Antonio in 1972.
Joining the Air Force after deferred enlistment, Major Martin F. King, M.D., taught and practiced pathology at the Wilford Hall Medical Center, where he was promoted to chief of surgical pathology. He then accepted a position at a private pathology practice in Corpus Christi, Texas. They raised their boys, enjoyed community life and made many good friends. Marty and Flora divorced during those years.
In 1991 Marty retired as a partner from medical practice to return to his first love, the study of mathematics and physics. At this time he began his life with Melene Dodson, a lawyer and judge who had been a friend for years. In 1967 they moved to Austin, Texas, where she could continue to work and he could take classes at the University of Texas. When Melene retired in 2001, they moved to Jackson Hole.
Marty hiked, read, made friends, and lived the Hole Life. He truly loved the valley and the community here, particularly his neighbors in Rafter J, with whom he developed deep and enduring friendships.
In 2007 Marty was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and became Patient One in an aggressive tandem transplant protocol at the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City. Though he was physically undermined and weakened by the treatment, it gave him another decade with Melene, his family and his friends.
Marty is survived by his wife and partner of 26 years, Melene Rowe Dodson; sons David M. King and Anthony A. King; stepsons Avram R. Dodson and Joseph A. (Austin) Dodson; daughters-in-law Natalie King, Kara King and Priya Sircar-Dodson; and grandchildren Katherine King, 16, Walker King, 13, Gabriella King, 13, Samuel Martin King, 11, and Lekha Sircar-Dodson, 1 month.

Johnny Tucker has the Seven Day Blues
Johnny Tucker has the Seven Day Blues
Imagine someone who had the kind of upbringing we tend to associate with the blues masters of old; now imagine that that person had absorbed the essence of the musicality and style of the 50s and 60s when the likes of Dixon, Fulson, Hooker and the Kings were at the height of their powers; imagine also that that person would be able to recreate those blues today in a way that sounds like it is…
