I need some serious advice. My name is Bradley I'm 14 and I'm gay. I really really am falling for this boy and I just recently told him I was gay. We are going into different high schools so we won't be able to see each other and we have a few weeks of school left. He's giving me mixed messages and I don't know whether he is gay or strait, and I hate labels but I don't know what else to say. Please help I don't know what to do! Thank you for anything! -Bradley

Hey Bradley. Thanks for the question. Hopefully we can help out. The fact that you've already come out to him is a HUGE first step! That's a scary as fuck (excuse my french) thing to do and you should be proud of yourself. I suggest you just have an open and honest conversation with him. I'd let him know that you really cherish you guys' friendship and tell him that you dont wanna ruin that. Explain that you've developed a small crush on him and see how he reacts. Or you could be more nonchalant about it and just start talking about an unnamed crush to him. See how he reacts. Ask HIM for dating advice. Or tell him exactly what you told us, just without his name included. If he takes it well or seems a little sad/jealous, I'd take it as a good sign and would then be straight forward and just ask. 

I'm a straight forward kind of gal though.
