Y/n knew he had developed a crush on Dino, ever since they came into contact. That first moment in the coffee shop was like a moment from a drama. You could call it love at first sight, but until now, y/n had felt like it was just one-sided love.

He had kept it a secret, telling all the others he didn't have a crush on anybody. He was definitely teased about it, especially during games of truth or dare and so, but y/n didn't want anybody finding out. Y/n was too afraid to have it be discovered, and then being turned down by Dino.

It was always hard when they hung out together, as y/n constantly had to fight his urges to do something romantic with the idol. He tried his best to just stay friends, laughing at Dino's jokes and holding back from being too touchy. It was hard, but y/n had managed for a few years now.

Y/n nodded and looked at Dino as he talked. They had just finished a photoshoot for a magazine, the idol still being in full outfit and make up. Dino was explaining about how they were thinking of making a comeback, but y/n's attention kept getting drawn to Dino's lips.

The way they moved as Dino talked was distracting, and with the make up they somehow looked even more kissable than they already were. Y/n kept trying to focus back on Dino's eyes instead of his lips, but he failed many times. Dino hadn't noticed y/n's drifting focus, and he just kept explaining.

Dino laughed as another member made a comment on it from the other side of the studio, reacting back to it. Dino's smile filled y/n's heart with a fluttery feeling, and as Dino looked back at him he chuckled. "Why are you smiling like that?" Dino tilted his head as he saw a hint of redness begin to spread over y/n's cheeks.

Y/n cleared his throat and chuckled. "Nothing. Just.. continue your story. I was listening." Dino raised an eyebrow, but just nodded and continued. He smiled slightly as he remembered a joke, his eyes looking to the side for a moment. Y/n felt himself lean closer and closer, Dino not noticing until he felt y/n's hands cup his face. "I'm sorry."

Dino froze as he felt y/n's lips connecting with his. He didn't react in anyway, his body stiff with shock. Y/n retreated with a flustered feeling, his ears and cheeks fully red. Dino looked at him with wide eyes, still not really processing what happened. Y/n bit his lip and got up. "I'm so sorry.. oh god- I-" Y/n looked away. "I'm sorry. I apologize. I'll leave now.. you can join the others and go home with them.."

Before Dino could react, y/n had walked off. Dino blinked, the moment of the kiss flashing through his mind again and again. He softly brought his hand up, letting his fingers go over his lips. Did it really happen? Did y/n kiss Dino? The idol took a deep breath as he felt his heart skip a few beats. Did he like it?

The next day, y/n was too embarassed to leave the house. He hadn't reacted to his texts or calls, and he stayed in his bedroom. He felt guilty for having kissed Dino out of the blue like that, as he thought he had ruined their friendship. Dino would hate him now, right? He did something stupid and he would regret it.

Y/n was tossing and turning in his bed, groaning at his own actions. He hated this feeling and he hoped Dino would just forget he ever existed. He was suprised by the door bell that rang, as he hadn't ordered or any food nor was he expecting anybody. He got up, checking in the mirror to see if he looked somewhat presentable and then walked to the front door.

As the door opened, Dino quickly looked up from his phone. He had been sending y/n messages all day, but as he never got a reaction he had gotten worried. He smiled as he saw y/n in the door opening, seeing the shock on the taller male's face. "Hi.. uhm.. I wanted to stop by to see if you were okay.."

Y/n gulped and averted his eyes, nodding slightly. "I'm fine.. just, was busy today. Can I do anything for you?" Y/n glanced at Dino, who was a bit confused at y/n's words. "Uhm.. you didn't react to any texts or calls.." "Yeah sorry, my phone has been charging and I haven't checked it yet.." Dino bit his lip and took a deep breath.

"Y/n, can I come in? I.. I wanna talk about yesterday." Dino put his phone back in his pocket, looking down. Y/n was silent for a moment but then nodded, stepping aside. "Yeah.. come in." Dino stepped inside, walking to the livingroom as y/n closed the door behind him. They sat down on the couch, silence taking over for a while.

Dino then took a deep breath, looking at y/n. "I liked it. The kiss." Dino's eyes darted around as he was thinking hard on how to go about this. "I uhm.. I felt things for you for quite a long time but.. never acted on it." Dino nodded and he felt his heart go a bit quicker.

"I actually came here to.. tell you I might want more but.. I don't.. I don't want to ruin our friendship." Dino sighed softly, too nervous to look at y/n. Y/n felt like a weight was lifted off of his shoulders, as he finally knew it wasn't just one-sided love. Dino had been keeping it secret as well.

"Dino.. I feel the same. I've felt like this for years. I was so afraid to ruin our relation if I let it slip and.. yesterday.. that happened." Y/n smiled slightly. "I'm so glad that we feel the same but.. do you really want more?" Dino looked at y/n with big eyes, shocked to find out they were both on the same level. Dino nodded as an answer and his cheeks got flushed.

"Yeah I want more... that's why I came here.." Dino bit his lip, y/n moving closer to him. Y/n stroked over Dino's flushed cheeks, smirking ever so slightly. "What kind of more do you want?" Y/n leaned in for a soft kiss, Dino making a small sound by surprise, but he kissed back in response. "Just a kiss?"

Dino shook his head, putting one hand on y/n's shoulder. "Can we.. do more in your bedroom?" Y/n raised an eyebrow and his smirk grew wider. "That kind of more.. alright.." Y/n got up and then pulled Dino up, both their hearts going wild. Y/n took Dino to his room, pushing him onto the bed with a chuckle.

He hovered over the idol, looking into his eyes. "I've been dreaming of this.." "Me too.. especially after what happened yesterday.. I haven't been able to get my mind off of you.." Y/n shut Dino up by kissing him passionately, the idol squirming slightly as a wave of excitement went through his body. Soon enough they couldn't stop their instincts, and the two were releaved to finally show eachother how much they were in love.

How Do We Empower Women of Color at Intersections of Violence, Ideas From INCITE!

INCITE! is a national group of feminists of color that has been mobilizing against all forms of violence against women, gender non-conforming (GNC), and trans people of color since 2000. The group adds much-needed analysis to the anti-violence movement by focusing on how people of color stand on the crossroads of multiple injustices.

Women, GNC, and trans people of color are vulnerable to sexual violence in addition to the structural violence directed towards their ethnicity, race, immigrant status, or gender identity. This intersectionality requires a deeper approach to healing – recognizing the ways someone may be impacted by violence inside their community as well as by violence directed towards their community.

Larger systems of violence and exploitation are often gendered, such as colonialism, slavery, or state violence, where rape was or is used as another form of subjugation. Additionally, survivors may find themselves pitted between their communities and their need for personal safety, and may also struggle to overcome language barriers, poor access to resources or support, and an inadequate judicial system when they seek help. Community strategies and services need to account for all these possibilities in their programs to assist survivors of color.

INCITE!’s grassroots chapters and national network generate critical dialogue about issues like reproductive justice, sexual violence, state violence, and immigration rights and brainstorm community solutions. They offer tools, thoughts, and ideas for understanding violence and imagining possibilities to heal from harm.

I need some serious advice. My name is Bradley I'm 14 and I'm gay. I really really am falling for this boy and I just recently told him I was gay. We are going into different high schools so we won't be able to see each other and we have a few weeks of school left. He's giving me mixed messages and I don't know whether he is gay or strait, and I hate labels but I don't know what else to say. Please help I don't know what to do! Thank you for anything! -Bradley

Hey Bradley. Thanks for the question. Hopefully we can help out. The fact that you've already come out to him is a HUGE first step! That's a scary as fuck (excuse my french) thing to do and you should be proud of yourself. I suggest you just have an open and honest conversation with him. I'd let him know that you really cherish you guys' friendship and tell him that you dont wanna ruin that. Explain that you've developed a small crush on him and see how he reacts. Or you could be more nonchalant about it and just start talking about an unnamed crush to him. See how he reacts. Ask HIM for dating advice. Or tell him exactly what you told us, just without his name included. If he takes it well or seems a little sad/jealous, I'd take it as a good sign and would then be straight forward and just ask. 

I'm a straight forward kind of gal though.
