thinking abt scar getting exasperated grian kisses,,

he does something stupid and grian rolling his eyes before he kisses him sooo sweetly and tells him not to do it agaiann,,,,,

calling him stupid and huffing like hes annoyed into the smooch before he relaxes and wraps his arms around scars waist just to make sure he can get a couple extra seconds of the kiss in

i also like to think most the time its because scar says the lamest pick up line ever like its the best thing ever and he is annoyed because it works on him bc he loves scar so much and so he just sighs and kisses him as reluctantly as he can muster. just dhdbfjrnfheuh <3

grian has given both him and scar a bloody nose several times by trying to swoop in and give him a kiss whilst flying, but not realising how fast he's going so he just smacks into scar and they end up laughing so hard they barely can get up to go and get tissues to wipe the blood up (and grian ends up getting his nose blood all over scar's clothes because he instinctively buries his face into the other's chest when he's laughing really hard near him)

scar sometimes just goes to to grian whilst hes busy and hes like 'hey can you hold onto something for a moment' and grians like.. i guess but im clearly busy scar can you not interupt me– before scar just gives him a kiss and walks off and leaves a sort of confused grian behind

until later when scar comes back and is like can i have what i gave you earlier back :3 and grians rolls his eyes and gives him a very exasperated kiss in return <3

double life but grian actually goes along with scars jellies,,, he doesn't like them at the start but he sighs and helps scar with building an area for them since hey he might as well keep an eye on scar whilst he's hanging around animals with big claws which could hurt him (and he's also helping because he sees the jellies make scar happy, and that his number 1 priority even if he doesn't want to admit it....)

they cuddle together with the pandas, grian helps to feed them and he pretends he doesn't like them but he ends up cooing and petting them when he thinks scar is out doing stuff and just <333 i need an au where they are happy right neow

scar definitely sleeps on top of grian's chest sometimes (like a cat) and grian can barely breathe but the number 1 cat rule of if they're laying on you you cannot move them applies to scar in grians mind so he just has to lay there with his very muscular husband happily purring and sleeping on top of him

grian has stolen pretty much all of scars clothes at some point or another (yes even the wizard robes in s7, they work perfectly fine as a dressing gown)

this doesn't upset scar at all BUT he does get grumpy over grian being tiny and so having no clothes to steal from him (grian may or may not have stocked up on oversized jumpers after that, they're comfier and well.. he enjoys seeing scar in them)

scar and grian DEFINITELY use the excuse of "we're married! we share everything now >:)" whenever theyre balantly stealing something

they also turn it into a competition - if one of them steals fron the other, the other has to steal something even more valuable and they keep doing this until it either turns into stealing more silly or cute things (like random things, cuddles from their cats, kisses, 'ive already stolen ur heart' etc) OR theyre stealing very valuable items and theyll.. PROBABLY give back to eachother yk

scar decided to cuddle like a giant koala in 3l since grian kept getting up in 3l to go look out and it managed to stick around (scar tries not to but he ends up doing it in his sleep) so now grian has accepted his fate of staying trapped in bed until scar gets up (he definitely could get up if he really wanted to, hes physically stronger than scar, but scar would most definitely wake up and he wishes his husband all the sleep he can get)

another thing is that their bed always ends up with 50000 blankets and pillows since obviously, i headcanon them as a cat and bird hybrid which are both nesting animals, and they also just have their mattress on the floor since its easier to deal with if stuff falls off and also is easier for their cats to jump up if they want. their bed also ends up with so many feathers and cat fur on it since yknow, and scar usually ends up collecting up those feathers in a pile if grian falls asleep before him and hes bored <3

they also tickle eachother alot (because they like hearing eachother laugh) which gets grians feathers EVERYWHERE because they fluff up and he squawks and tries to kick scar away whilst absolutely laughing his head off, whilst if grian tickles scar it usually ends up in him returning the attack until theyre both just crying laughing and usually grian is clinging onto scar's shirt trying to stop giggling !!!!!!! they make me ill let them be domestic everyone

scar got forced to sleep on the couch (aka his base) for a week after that mending book incident..........

though he still ends up getting a sleepy grian at his door at 3am after hes stayed up fishing, pushing scar to the side so he can fit in the one person bed

with the whole fishing thing, grian's gotten really good at cooking fish in different ways

and so obviously he's been very excitedly cooking for his husband, scar, because hes a cat hybrid, so surely he loves fish! right? .... right?

scar absolutely depises fish, he hates the texture and the taste of it... but he knows that grian struggles with ways of being affectionate with him, and so whats so bad at needing to force down a plate of fish or having to cook himself an extra meal in the middle of the night?

he does really hope this fishing saga ends soon though

scar is usually covered in grians feathers - its like cat fur, any sort of clothes he has always ends up with small red yellow and blue feathers scattered around it

hes always very happy when he finds one, since it makes him think of grian :3

scar and grian definitely paint eachothers nails and gossip sorry anyone who disagrees with me this is canon in my heart

scar can barely even put one layer of nail polish on neatly (grian still loves it regardless) whilst grian can do cool patterns and what not and then they just talk about recent events or about their building plans <3

thinking abt scarian kisses....

messy kisses where both of them keep laughing into the kiss and their teeth keep clacking together as they grin into eachother's mouths, which make them laugh even more until they have to pull back because they're laughing too much

going abit crazy but:

a 3rd life au where instead of the cactus ring, grian and scar agree to live in this world instead, to make the most of it since they don't know if they'll come back whenever they die

it's a little bit lonely, but they make it work with just having eachother, they build with eachother, they joke with eachother, they live for eachother, when it feels like the lonely world around them is getting too much (too similar to the lonely fields of undead, too similar to the lonesome life of a watcher)

but at some point they accept life as it is, grow old together atop monopoly mountain, maybe they've managed to find another llama, maybe the fauna of the world has started to restore itself overtime

until one day grian wakes up and he finds that the already shallow breathing of his lover beside him is gone, and maybe that's worse than killing him with his bare hands

scar gets a proper burial, of course, the best one grian can form with his shaky, aching hands and frail bones

and after that he decidedly lets himself join scar, wherever he is

but instead of an afterlife, he's greeted with the roof of his season 8 base, in a body that was his long ago and is far more full of life and young than before - it seems he's back on hermitcraft, back with the people who's faces he barely even remembers and he's not sure of their names until he checks the tab list

he goes to check on scar first, his lover for decades in that desert, and well

both of them had talked about what ifs when it came to their memory and it's possible deterioration before, but now that it had happened, grian doesn't know what to do with himself or his lover- friend, now, who doesn't even remember his touch, their shared kisses, their shared history

grian and scar normally never shut up ever unless the other is talking abt something theyre interested/excited about, then theyre willing to shut up and stare at eachother talking (and try and actually liste, which is surprisingly hard when they find eachother the most prettiest thing alive) <3
