I don't think I've ever posted about Marlon Mongoose on here yet so here's your introduction, he is Mina Mongoose but trans. Without constant threat of war he knows a lot more about himself and is much more successful with his band.

Julie admires that he knows who he is and she gets along with him much better than she did Mina in her home dimension.

TWDG Daemon Headcanons/AU

I’ve been rereading His Dark Materials and watching the show so naturally this comes to my mind. His Dark Materials is my favorite book series and was part of my childhood so this was given a lot of analysis before any decisions were made.

What is a Daemon? A Daemon is a talking animal companion from the book trilogy His Dark Materials that is meant to represent the soul of a human. Before puberty, these animals are unsettled and can change shape freely. Once the person hits puberty then the Daemon settles on a permanent shape that represents the personality of their human companion. The bond between human and Daemon is sacred as they feel each others pain, they can’t wander too far from each other, and they are the only ones allowed to touch each other.
