Floris had never been close to her sister Ellyn. Their interests were too different, their personalities polar opposites, and Floris’ resentment of the attention her parents spent on her sisters had always drove a wedge into her relationships with them…

So when she found that she had an invite to Ellyn’s room for tea this afternoon, she was puzzled as to why. Why would she want to spend time with me?

The two sisters had both been living in Kings Landing for quite some time now, yet none of them had made any move to spend time together until this very moment. Perhaps Ellyn wanted something out of her? Floris held the invitation in her hands, staring at it until she decided she was just go. What would be the harm in afternoon tea with my elder sister?

Despite her new wardrobe of color, Floris decided to wear her usual black dress and headpiece that covered much of her hair. A simple necklace and black rings matched the outfit, and she felt ready to face whatever this meeting would bring.

It took her a while to find Ellyn’s room, as she had never been there in all her time in Kings Landing. How stupid of me… Floris thought, the pessimism of her mind and darkness of her outfit making her feel as if she was back on Storms End, her most miserable days feeling as if they were now.

Once she had found the correct door, she knocked softly before opening. “Sister… I am a little bit late, I apologize.” Her eyes shifted to Maris, who Floris had not expected to see there. She was confused.

Nodding her head to Maris as a greeting, she sat herself down, looking at both of her sisters now. Floris said nothing, waiting for one of them to explain what this meeting was all about.

Maris was hearing rumors here and there, but that wasn't her issue. She had been learning new things throughout her books, as she started catch on to the things that were being said about her. There was some rumors that Kermit was in love with her sister Ellyn. Which had made no sense towards her, as Ellyn was already betrothed to Daeron. She tried her hardest to not be upset with him, but what the issue, Maris thought there was something between him and Kermit, and possibly she was extremely wrong about it. The Lady Baratheon, started to pace back and forth in her chambers, knowing that she has seen this in books. The romance books she always read happened, that the lord falls in love with the sister. Maris grabbed her new book, as she stormed out of her chambers and she went to the library. She was going quite insane. She liked Kermit. She thought there was something between them. More than anyone else. She thought Kermit cared for her, but she didn't believe it, all of a sudden it was towards Ellyn all of sudden? Maris went to the corner of her library as she opened her book. She looked out the window, as she started to read through the lines. Maris was slightly annoyed, slightly upset, she didn't know what was happening. She had so many emotions so many going through her head. Even the library wasn't helping her, that was driving her mad. She went back to her chambers, as her steps hurried towards through the corridors. As she ran right into the one person she didn't want to see... Kermit... "I apologize, my lord," She curtsied before she hurried past him to her chambers.

The Four Storms Headcanons for my fic

Cassandra Baratheon

Called "Cass" by her sisters and "Cassie" by her mother, Elenda

She is the eldest sister at twenty years old but her speech and manners make her seem older

She is jealous of her bastard older brother and worries her father Borros will name him heir before her mother, Elenda, has a son

When she was young she often took care of her sisters as a result she no longer wants to have children after having to already raise them

She has never forgiven her parents for not allowing her to be a member of the court in King's Landing and believes she could have charmed then married Aegon the 2nd had they let her go

Maris Baratheon

She is closest to her sister, Cassandra, and as children they were as thick as thieves

While she is considered by many to be less beautiful than her sisters, it is mostly based around her unconventional clothing and sharp tongue which insults more often than not

Though Borros never admits it, Maris is his favorite child

She likes to read fervently and will ramble on to anyone who will listen about her books

Sometimes she taunts potential suitors to get a reaction out of them, knights have had to get involved in the past

Ellyn Baratheon

Her companion wherever she goes is a black and grey cat she calls Edric

She would be Aemond's favorite due to her gentle and kind disposition which reminds him of Alicent and Helaena

Despite her best efforts, Ellyn is often forgotten compared to her sisters

While she is shy and generally cautious, the first time she saw Vhagar she was in awe

Deep down she wishes to leave Storm's End and become her own person separate from her family

Floris Baratheon

Due to being showered with compliments since she was a small child, Floris is slightly vain

Her mother Elenda considers Floris her favorite child

She loves to wear flowers as accessories

For fun, Floris enjoys dancing, singing, and watching the knights in Storm's End while they duel

Floris was secretly happy that the betrothal with Aemond didn't occur because she is scared of having children young and of going through the pain her mother goes through by trying for a son
