Screencaps of the Mario movie, but in MarioSwap AU! I made these before the movie came out, twas pretty fun! I even have a "script" of how MarioSwap would've went as the movie; it had similarities with the movie, but there were adjustments to make it work in MarioSwap verse.

he's been like the most consistent outfit wise. obv he gets other outfits but his MAIN outfit hasnt had very many changes, im pretty sure wario beats him out by a little and that might be cause i draw him less often/more in the cat form

anyway i dont think he handles the troubles of being a princess as well as peach usually does. much more a damsel in distress than her yknow what i mean

“A Sky Full of Stars”

A commission artwork I made for dear @marioswap 🌺⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Thank you so much for supporting my art! 💖⁣⁣

⁣⁣ The concept and uniform design in this art are from @marioswap 's MarioAU. I just added some little details here and there with their permission, of course.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This was very a fascinating and challenging project to colour since I have never tried to render water surface from straight above perspective before. I must admit that water is not my strongest element to draw or colour and I definitely need more practice, but I'm still quite happy with the result.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I wanted to create a marker-ish outcome so I decided to test my new marker brushes on Clip Studio Paint. I coloured this pretty much the same way I colour with traditional copic markers but the blending process is just so much easier when you have the chance to experiment with different things, and correct the mistakes if something doesn't work the way you want. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Programs used: Paint Tool SAI for lineart and Clip Studio Paint for coloring process. ⁣⁣

The newest / most up to date reference of the Trio!

I went for more "nostalgic" look/color schemes with these ones, based on the DiC cartoons! The AU is based a lot on the DiC cartoons, so I wanted to shot that through the Trio's colors as well!

Prince Mario smiled. "You cut your hair", he whispered, reaching his arms forward as Peach approached him. Tears rolling down her cheeks Peach pressed closer to Prince Mario, cupped his face with her palms and replied; "So did you." She kissed Prince Toadstool's hair and forehead. Having him here in her arms made her sure of the one thing she had been wondering for a while now; she was home.

This may or may not be canon, I don't know yet 😂 However I choose, Mario is still Peach's home she always returns to 😊

Those who have been following my Instagram remember the, 'You cut your hair' dtiys I had going on, and this was the newest remake of it (and no one drew it sob, if you want to do it go for it! Remember to tag me and use the tag provided so I can find it and reblog!<3)

Keepsake - SOUL

Keepsake - HEART

Luigi's Keepsake powers come from his soul. He has thunder element, as well as healing powers. Queen Caramel has Mind Keepsake, and she has healing as well as wind powers. Mario's come from his Heart and he has fire powers.

Luigi's Keepsake's original/casual form is a javelin/spear, but he can also form a bow (pictured above), and he can use the powers as touch spells as well.

The design used here is what Luigi would look in the future, when he is either about to become King of Beanbean, or some time before he does :))

Keepsake - HEART

Keepsake - SOUL

Mario's Keepsake powers come from his heart. His element is fire, Luigi's is thunder and healing, and Queen Caramel's is healing and wind.

Mario's Keepsake's original/casual form was a maul, but upon getting his heart shattered, Mario's maul got destroyed and now his Keepsake manifests in more destructive ways (pictured above.)

This is a thing happening in the next bigger story, and I've already talked about it in Insta, so it isn't really a secret/spoiler anymore. But the idea is that, Mario's Heart works as the Keepsake's container, of sorts (like Luigi's Soul and Caramel's Mind), and when Mario's heart gets shattered, the power spreads around his body. Using Keepsake will become even harder for Mario, and using it hurts.

The design used here is how Mario would look in the future stories. By this time, Luigi has already either become King of Beanbean, or will become in a little while :))

I kind of got the idea of Mario not wearing a crown anymore as I drew him, but maybe he uses it in formal occasions. Luigi's crown has pink gems to represent his brother :)

I have been playing around with the idea of Keepsakes for a while now, and the pictures here might not be canon in every way anymore, but I will share what I have to this Keepsake masterpost! ;)

I've been meaning to redraw the cover for MarioSwap like 100 times, but haven't done it yet, so have the very original (right, 2020) and the first redraw! (left, 2021)

Ooof, my drawing skills have gotten so much better compared to the both of these :'D

Keepsake was published back at the beginning of 2021, and it remains one of my favourite MarioSwap stories. I was so excited to get to post it that the lack of feedback made me really sad :') anyway, this story introduces the Mario-verse to MarioSwap verse, and I loved writing this one so much!

Funny little thing inspired by the movie!

I am still torn between writing Mario and Peach a thing, or just platonic, or poly with Prince Haru 🙈

Anyway, even if I did choose not to make it queer, have Prince Mario realizing he has a crush on Peach!

Also, Wario's first appearance in MarioSwap art!! He and Waluigi made their first appearance back in the Short Stories, W Trouble!

The 7th installment chronologically to ⤿MarioSwap⤺,

The Mushroom Kingdom is in great peril after the beanish Mage Cackletta steals Prince Luigi's Soul and breaks Prince Mario's Heart. The only one who can save the day is Peach, and this time she has to do the impossible - she needs to bring back the Queen and King of Mushroom Kingdom.

“I am withdrawing my proposal”, Prince Haru announced, the Kingdom falling apart all around them. Flowers were wilting, buildings turned to rubble and dust, people faded away and voices silenced.  “Why?” Mario shouted at him, unable to understand what was happening. He finally made it to the area surrounding Haru, the flowers still alive around them.
