I see you Rose. I see you. And here you go with your stupid handcuffs in PG13 VERSION

Mario hated this job. Why would anyone want to be a superhero? It was dangerous, reckless and just plain stupid in general. Not to mention he had to cover his face so nobody would recognize  him and find out he has powers. So why did was he doing this in the first place you ask?

Well. That was a complicated story. 

The first time he got pulled into all this was because of Luka-that boy was reckless and he was about to try and bring down mafia crime. Mario wasn't about to let him go alone, even thought he rationally knew Luka was a good policeman and that he wouldn't really be alone. 

But when they got there, everything was frozen. All of the members from the mafia, dead. It still made Mario shiver when he remembered how cold the entire plce was. Only someone extremly powerful could do that. And whoever it was, they seemed to leave a blood-or should he say ice trail behind them. 

Mario couldn't just let it go after that. So he started doing superhero businesses on nights when Luka wasn't with him too. But most of the time he only stopped small crimes of people stupid enough to get easily caught. Like tonight.

The guy who was trying to break into a building, and obviously failing, wasn't hard to spot. He wasn't being particullary quiet either so Mario wouldn't have been suprised if somebody already called the police on him. Still, he would make sure he didn't get away before they arrived. He carried a gun for situations like these, where the use of his powers wasn't necessary.

"I would suggest you put your tools down and put your hands where I can see them. I have a gun." Mario said calmly.

"I'm bulletproof but please don't shoot me!" The guy said, putting his hands in the air, his back still turned.

"You are what?" Mario asked, momentally distracted.

The guy turned, a goofy smiled on his lips. Mario was shocked by the lack of mask on his face. His long, blod hair was pulled in the braid and he looked young, around Mario's age. He didn't look like a criminal.

"Bulletproof. You know that's when you can't get hurt by bullets. Haven't they teached you that in superhero school?"

Mario clenched his jaw. The guy spoke teo sentences and he already went on his nerves.

"For someone so cocky you'd think you'll have a smarter way to break in the house." 

Crimanal smiled at Mario again but this smile was sharper, more dangerous somehow. Mario felt chills go down his spine evej though he knew that the guy couldn't possibly match him in strength. Not with his fire powers.

He grabbed the handcuff he had with him and approached him. The criminal even had the decency to smirk.

"Ohh handcuffs? You are truly a pawn of police forces aren't you? Or is that just a fetish?" 

Mario's eyes narrowed dangerously and he resisted the urge to let a few flames appear on his palm. He knew how scary that was for most people and how fast the bastard would bite his tongue if he saw that. But he wasn't here to show off his powers. He was here to take care of this moron and move on in trying to find a guy breaking havoc with his ice powers. 

But just as he grabbed his wrist to put handcuffs on so he could call the police, the guy Got away from his hold and punched him in the stomach. 

So rhe hard way then.

Mario let the fire dance on his palms, feeling the rush of energy that came with it. But instead of the frigthened look he expected the guy was full on grinning at him.

"Finally. I was starting to fear you won't use the at all Mario." 

That felt like a punch in the stomach, Mario couldn't breathe. How was this possible?

"How do you know my name?" He hissed, stepping closer.

Bastard was still smirking, casually leaning on the building.

"I know a lot of things. I did my research. And I am amazed by what I learned. The question is why do you hide them? Your powers?"

Mario's stomach was turning and he felt like he will be sick. Who was this stranger and how did he know this? Mario couldn't think. 

So he attacked.

His first punch landed directly at the criminal's jaw, but the second later his arm was caught and he was spinned around until he was pined to the wall. 

"Now that was just plain stupid. And you didn't even try to burn me. Which brings us back to my question. What are you afraid of?"

Mario struggled to get out of his hold but to no avail. The stranger was stronger than he looked like. But Mario wasn't about to answer him. He knew too much as it is. 

"I thought you'd be more coopertive since you spend weeks following my trail. I even had to pull some strings to find out who was a new superhero who never seemed to use his powers." 

Mario's eyes widened. It couldn't be him. 

The blond smiled, noticing his shock. And then, as if it were the most normal thing in the world, put his hand next to Mario's head. The wall was slowly starting to freeze at the place where his hand was and Mario realized just in how big trouble he was. 

He had to get out of here. And quickly. 

He stepped on the guy's leg and then managing to free his leg, hit him between the legs, leaving him on the floor as he stepped over him. He didn't however, count on his leg being grabbed so he also ended up on the floor.

As they continued to wrestle on the ground and desperation ti get away grew, Mario lost control on his power flames from his fist collided with criminal's palm. Mario stopped breathing.

He was waiting for a scream of pain, for the smell of burning flesh. But nothing happened. Except that he found himself on his back, pressed to the ground.

"That was cute. You didn't really think that would hurt me did you?" 

Mario's heart was stillbeating wildly as he was trying to rationalize this. Nobody was immune to his power. Not even other power users. He witnessed it. It wasn't pretty.

As if he could feel his unbelief ice user closed his palm against Mario's burning hand once more. The flames disappeared, leaving only a feeling of cool palm against his. 

Mario's was speachless. This wasn't possible. For him to feel something was cold was almost unheard of in itself but extinguishing his flames like that? Impossible. 

"How...?" 

Mario couldn't finish. He was mestermised at stranger's cold blue eyes who seemed to hold all the answers.

"A lot of things you heard from people without powers are lies. You are strong but you have a lot to learn about them. Think about joining me and learning the truth for once. I am sure we will see each other soon again." 

The villain kissed his cheek, leaving a feel of cold lips behind him. Mario felt paralized by all the informations he recieved. He didn't even try to stop himas he stood up. 

"Oh and you can call me Domo. Good luck on finding me thought. I doubt my face or my name will help you with it. I know how to disappear."

And with that, the man turned and disappeared in the night, leaving Mario sitting on a pavment with too many unansered questions. The most important one being, who the hell was Domo?

“She left me! After all those ridiculous apologies. She didn’t give a shit about me. She never did. And you know what? Why should I be the one who cares about this fucked up situation? Why should I be the one who ends up suffering? It’s her fucking fault after all!” Mario was shouting, his words were full of rage and so were his eyes. 

Domagoj tried to calm his friend down, but nothing seemed to be enough. 

“I can’t believe it. This is so stupid. She simply walked away saying that I’m not enough for her. Why did you let me fall for her? Why didn’t you warn me, huh? You’re my best friend, aren’t you? I thought you cared about me” The anger was still palpable in Mario’s voice, but his eyes were now full of tears. 

Domagoj couldn’t stand seeing him like this. “Believe me, I do” The tears started rolling down on Mario’s cheeks. That was too much for him to handle. 

“Fuck off! Don’t you dare looking at me like that! As I said, why should I suffer for her? I’m fine.” His fists were tightly clenched as he spoke. 

“If you aren’t suffering, how do you explain those tears?” Mario looked surprised when he realized his cheeks were actually wet. He simply wiped them with his hands and looked Domagoj straight in the eyes. 

“Fuck her, she can’t hurt me. There are no second chances. I did all I could to save our relationship. I’m gone for good this time. So stop staring at me like I’m Bambi, okay? I don’t need your comfort, I need to get wasted.” 

“As you command” Domagoj said bitterly while taking a bottle of vodka out of the fridge. But if you don’t need my comfort, how come you drove for 45 minutes in the middle of the night to come here? Domagoj bit his tongue shutting himself. He knew Mario way too well and sayin’ something like this would have caused his friend to leave, and he didn’t want him to leave. 

Vodka as a starter and beer as the main course. The night proceeded slowly as they spoke about everything and anything. They were sitting side by side on the living room’s floor with their glasses on a small coffee table. 

“Domo, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to say those things. You know me, I don’t want to hurt you… I’m so sorry” Mario said, stuttering a little because of the quantity of alcohol he drowned in the past few hours. The fire he had in his eyes was extinguished, now they showed a concerned look. 

Domagoj smiled softly and reached for Mario’s hand. “I know you don’t want to hurt me… and I don’t want to see you hurt.” He tightened his grip to Mandžo’s hand and swallowed the last sip of his beer and his heart skipped when he saw Mario smiling tenderly. 

“Another one?” Domo said pointing at his empty bottle. He didn’t even wait for an answer. He tried his best to stand on his feet, stumbled and fell on Mario, who burst into a childish and adorable laugh. Before he could understand what he was actually doing, Domagoj quickly cupped Mario’s face and kissed him softly while both of his thumbs were gently caressing his temples. When he tried to end the kiss he felt Mario’s hand behind his head. “Don’t stop, please” Mario’s eyes met Domo’s ones and the concerned look was still there, he looked fragile in that moment, like he needed comfort. Domagoj kissed his forehead as a response. 

“As you command”. There were no traces of bitterness in his voice now. What was an innocent kiss quickly developed into a passionate one. Domagoj loved feeling Mario’s arms pressing their bodies closer and closer. He loved kissing his neck and seeing him smile from the corner of his eye. 

When they parted, Domo felt like he would have collapsed if it wasn’t for Mario’s handgrip on his shoulders. “You know what? I definitely need a beer right now” Domagoj said with a smile on his face, crawling towards the kitchen. Getting up would have meant falling again. “You wish. Come here” Mario said with a cocky smile on his lips, reaching out for Domo’s wrist in order to stop him.

Mario let his hands wander up and down Domo’s muscly back while placing kisses on his neck and then finally proceded to take his shirt off.

“You ain’t going anywhere”

Croatia NT x Hobbies

- domo would like roller blading. sometimes you would see him roller blading down the corridors screaming with knee and elbow pads

- zlatko would strap a bright pink helmet onto him every time. imagine his blond hair crammed into a helmet tho

- mario loves a bit of gardening. in his spare time he plants flowers and stuff but he mainly likes to plant vegetables

- he can spend hours making the garden look pretty in the summer

- he shows up to training with homemade vegetable soup in a massive flask to hand out to the boys

- they all ended up lining up bc it was so good

- šime likes to experiment with coffee and different combinations. around your house there are all sorts of coffee making equipment and it always smells like coffee in the mornings

- in the evenings luka sits down at the kitchen table before dinner with ema and ivano to do some colouring. he does those adult colouring books and always makes them really colourful

- krama does creative writing and publishes crime fiction under a pen name

- dejan swims for leisure naked. that time šime caught him and jumped into the pool fully clothed, screeching at the rest of the nt to come in

- he usually swims alone bc it relaxes him but loves it when you join him skinny dipping at open air pools in the summer

- livi likes photography. he has a secret Insta account where he showcases his street photography. he loves to take you on exotic holidays and take photos of you 

- ante has practiced mixed martial arts for years. he teaches karate to children on saturdays and is the chillest, funniest instructor you could imagine

- he gets little gifts from the kids on his birthday and it made him tear up

- marko and marko are massive fans of box sets. they always room together, so they get watch shows like downton abbey, sherlock, got, westworld

- they’re always having in depth conversations about them during breaks and the whole team jokingly tease them

- raketa has started getting piano lessons and blushes softly when he plays the wrong note. he tries to serenade you with romantic songs, like at that party, but the boys only wanted him to play mojo domovina so they could sing along

Summary: Mario was having a nice and calm evening. Until some drunk guy broke into his house, at least.

It was a peaceful evening. Mario was watching TV on the sofa, Lene at his feet. The small dog was snoring softly and that made his owner smile. Earlier that day, he had made a good impression at work and showed that loser Ramos who was boss. Now everything was well and he could relax while savoring that wonderful feeling of accomplishment.

Or at least that’s what he thought until he heard the sound of glass breaking. He immediately stood up as Lene barked, woken up by the noise. It was coming from the kitchen. Mario decided to investigate, but he still grabbed a knife laying on the kitchen. Better be prepared if he found a smuggler trying to break into his house.

When he opened the door, he found the window broken and a blonde man sneaking in. However, he didn’t look like a thief. Not with his red cheeks and the bottle of beer in his hands. Not a criminal, then, just a drunkard. That was just Mario’s luck.

Mario was about to shout, to tell the guy he would sue him for breaking his window, but the intruder walked straight past him before he could open his mouth. He also started yelling from the top of his lungs.

“Dejan, Sime, where are you? I brought beer for y’all!”

“Hey, hold on! This is not your house, you’d better get out!” Mario protested, putting a hand on his shoulder so he would stop to look at him.

“You’re not Dejan or Sime.” He stated while blinking, maybe trying to make sure he wasn’t making a mistake.

“No shit, Sherlock. Now will you please get o… Hey, what are you doing?”

The stranger simply turned around and started wandering through the house, all while calling for his imaginary friends, Mario on his heels. He started opening wardrobes and cupboards, his brows furrowed.

“Hey, Dejan, Sime, are you in there?”

“No, your fucking friends are not hiding behind my socks and boxers. You broke the wrong window, you idiot. Now leave my house and maybe I won’t call the police on your ass.”

This time, the man seemed to listen to Mario’s words. In fact, he didn’t take his eyes off him. Once Mario was done, he giggled and poked his cheek.

“Oh, you’re pretty!”

“What the hell? Put your hands off me! I didn’t sign for being harassed by a bastard like you.”

The man removed his hand while his lower lip quivered in exaggerated sadness. Mario restrained himself from labeling that pout as cute, because he certainly wasn’t going to have a crush on an alcoholic breaking into people’s houses, thank you very much.

“You’re… You’re no good!” The intruder wailed before proceeding to empty the entire content of his beer bottle on Mario’s head.

He coughed on it before pushing the drunk guy away so he could wipe the liquid off his skin. His eyes were screaming murder and even stupid Ramos wouldn’t have dared getting into a fight with him right now. But his surprise visitor didn’t seem to have any survival instinct, because instead of running away, he bumped into Mario’s shoulder so he could reach the sofa and crash on it.

This time, nothing could contain Mario’s anger. He was about to explode and kick this guy’s ass out of his home when Lene climbed on the sofa, all while sniffing around. Then the dog made her way into drunk guy’s arms, but only after licking his face thoroughly.

“Cute doggo! C’me here, doggo!”

Mario bit the inside of his cheek, trying his best to stay mad at the intruder, but the happy, goofy grin illuminating his eyes as he petted Lene made it hard for him.

“Lene, no. Come back here!”

The dog raised her head, looked at Mario, then put her muzzle on the stranger’s arm. The blonde guy giggled, so hard that he barely managed to reply “Lene, yes!” in the middle of his laughter.

“Now, enough is enough! You break my window, pour beer on me and now you’re teaching my dog to behave badly! Get off my sofa this instant!.”

Of fucking course, the man just laughed at Mario’s order. He cuddled closer to Lene and closed his eyes, seemingly content there. Pissed off, Mario grabbed his foot and tried to drag him off the sofa, but it wasn’t easy when the other man was doing his best to resist.

“Don’t wanna go.”

“I never said you had a choice!”

“See, doggo, your owner is being mean to poor Domo!”

“Stop talking to my dog and get your shit together!”

Mario pulled harder on the stranger’s shoe, but unfortunately for him it came off of Domo’s foot. He felt himself losing his balance, but this time, the intruder reacted surprisingly fast for a drunken man and sprung on the sofa, just in time to catch Mario.

“Careful, don’t hurt yourself. Doggo would be sad.”

“Let me go, I don’t need your help!” Mario snapped.

“Nope, too dangerous. You stay here.”

Mario tried to wiggle his way out of Domo’s grip, but he was trapped in his strong arms and couldn’t escape. The blond man forced him to lay on the sofa next to him, ignoring all the cursing leaving Mario’s mouth.

“For god’s fucking sake, I swear I will…”

Mario suddenly lost his voice when Domo laid his head on his shoulder, an appeased look on his face. That simple touch made his heart beat faster as Domo snuggled closer to him. The blond man closed let out a yawn then closed his eyes, clearly exhausted.

“You safe with me, now. Won’t let anything bad happen.”

The time it took for Mario to regain his senses and to start protesting again, the intruder was fast asleep. It also didn’t help when Lene dug her way between them so she could lay there. The dog gave Mario a pleading look and he rolled his eyes. Deep down, he knew he could push both the intruder and Lene away if he wanted to, but he just didn’t have the heart to do so.

“Fine, he can stay here for the night, but I’ll kick him out tomorrow morning the moment he wakes up!”

Lene yawned, clearly unconcerned, as she made herself comfortable between her owner and his unexpected guest. The dog stretched, not caring at all about Mario’s inner turmoil as he stared at his peaceful face. Even in his sleep, there was a huge, happy grin on Domo’s lips.

Somehow, he reminded Mario of a stray dog, with his goofy, hectic attitude. And to be completely honest, it felt strangely nice to keep him close in his arms, to not fall asleep alone. Maybe he would offer the man to stay for breakfast so he would get to know him a little. Just maybe.

As he was lost in his thoughts, Lene let out a happy bark. Domo stirred a little in his sleep, but he didn’t wake up, only tightened his grip on his human pillow. Mario sent a threatening look at his dog who just stared at him, her tongue hanging in the air.

“Don’t get any ideas. We’re not keeping him.”

The moment the words left his mouth, Mario felt his cheeks turn red and he was glad that no one except his dog was here to see his embarrassment. But the idea that befriending the man sleeping next to him, and why not hope for something more, was slowly making its nest into his mind, well-decided to settle here and to never leave.

Mario scuffed at himself, but as he closed his eyes to welcome sleep, he unconsciously pulled Domo a little closer.

“Would you really still love me when you see me for what I truly am?” Domagoj laughed bitterly, his blue eyes sad. He turned away, the moonlight beckoning to him. 

Warm, strong hands encircled him, and pulled him back into a fierce embrace.

“No matter what, Domo. Man, beast, demon...it matters not to me.” Mario whispered, looking into the smaller man’s eyes. He raised a finger to wipe off the tear that had just fallen from one of those silver-blue pools.

The moonlight shone brightly, and Domagoj closed his eyes as he felt its power course through his body. Pale flesh turned into jet-black fur, teeth became fangs and man became wolf. His eyes still shut, he howled at the moon, waiting for the moment when Mario would let go. Waiting for Mario to tell him that he couldn’t possibly love a beast.

Yet that moment didn’t come, and when he opened his eyes, his faithful and strong lover remained, his embrace just as sure. Unable to contain his joy, he licked Mario’s face.

The latter glared momentarily before laughing out loud and kissing him once more, by the light of the moon.

One Piece Birthdays: Honorable Mentions

     One Piece has hundreds of characters, and over the past year I’ve celebrated the birthdays of only about a few hundred or so of them. So I’d like to take the time to mention every One Piece character without a birthday. Some don’t have birthdays because they’ve debuted too recently, some have no birthdays because they have been forgotten. Some have no birthdays because we haven’t gotten to that yet, even though they’ve existed for a long time and we remember them. To start off with, I will mention every character that exists within the canon that have names. Some you’ll remember. Some you won’t recognize, but if I showed you a picture of them you’d be like “Oh yeah that guy”. And then some of them you won’t have any recollection of, and I can’t blame you for it. I did this so that you can simply search their names on the One Piece Wiki and learn about them, if any interest you. However, a couple of them are so obscure that they don’t even have their own pages, in which case you will only be able to fine them here.

  Next we will honor all non-canon characters. These characters appeared in filler, movies, specials, OVAs, one-shots, video games, or any other material that was officially made but not part of the manga. These characters are gaurunteed to never get a birthday, and that is a curse they bear. Now some non-canon characters, such as Gion and Tokikake, debut in non-canon and then later appear in canon, making them canon characters, and thus giving them a chance to have a birthday. However, this is such a rare case, that I wouldn’t count on it, especially for non-canon characters that debuted years ago.

    Lastly, I want to honor all characters, canon and non-canon, with no names. The majority of these characters are just extras that only appeared in one panel or shot. But there’s a couple that are actually memorable, such as that one guy that was in Spandine’s group, or the masked CP-0 members. Some of these people can actually get names eventually. For example, Don Quixote Mjosgard was a nameless character for the longest time, until in the Reverie he became important and was given a name. I cannot list these nameless characters, as they have no names, but I do still want to honor them, and hope that one day they will be given names and have birthdays.

Hi! This was inspired by an ask @lovrenfc received while people were sharing their stories of meeting the Croatian NT guys and freaking out. The anon came up with the concept of dating Dejan, going to a gala event with him, meeting Luka and crying or fainting, so if you were that anon, get in touch and I’m happy to give you credit for the idea!

Dejan x reader

Featured: Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic, Domagoj Vida, Sime Vrsaljko, Mario Mandzukic (briefly) No warnings required as far as I know, no nsfw content, just a few kisses and one or two swear words.

Most importantly, this was written quickly and isn’t perfect. I just found this concept hilarious and wanted to do something with it.

Dejan stands behind you, the smell of his musky aftershave and sea salt hair spray enveloping you as he helps you button the back of your floor length gown. “You look incredible. I can’t wait to introduce you to some of my friends,” he says proudly as he fastens the last button. “They’ll love you.”

You giggle when he says it, and in the mirror you see a soft smile on his face too. “What’s so funny?” he asks.

“I was just remembering my first introduction to your footballer friends,” you explain, and he laughs out loud.

“Dammit, Domo,” he chuckles. “Budalo jedna.”

You both take a moment to remember that night during the World Cup when you and Dejan were still keeping things on the low; how you’d walked into Dejan’s hotel room after he gave you the key while he was taking something to Dalic, how Domagoj had jumped out of the bathroom yelling “POLUDI” to scare Dejan then screamed even louder than you had when he realised you were very much not his tall, dark and handsome teammate.

It had taken you quite a while to convince Dejan to invite him back to the room and introduce you, but eventually he gave in and Domo had arrived along with Šime and a bottle of rakija. The four of you stayed up until the small hours drinking and laughing. You and Dejan smile fondly at the memory.

You step forward and pick up your necklace, a beautiful diamond necklace that Dejan bought you for your birthday. “Would you put this on for me?” you ask, and Dejan obliges before turning you around to face him.

“You really do look gorgeous,” he smiles, and kisses your lips. “Let’s go.”

When you arrive at the gala event, you look around to see if you recognise anyone. Dejan realises you’re feeling nervous and kisses your head softly. “I’m still not entirely used to these things,” you confide in him, and he squeezes your shoulder reassuringly.

“I know, draga. But you’re perfect, and I’m here. You’re fine.”

You allow him to lead you to the dance floor, you both know that will help. You slow dance with him, your nerves dissipating until all you’re aware of is Dejan. He holds you close as you sway to the music, and when it ends, he dips you and gives you a fleeting, light kiss on your lips. “I love you,” you whisper to him as he pulls you back into an upright position. He smiles at you and says it back, taking your hand and walking towards your table.

Suddenly, a loud whistle behind you stops you in your tracks. You both spin around to find Domagoj standing behind you, grinning like the Cheshire cat. “Domo!” you cry, hugging him tight. “I’ve missed you! We were just talking about you earlier!”

“Really?” he gasps in feigned shock. “Was it about my dashing good looks? Or my exceptional talent on the field? Was it-“

Dejan interrupts him. “It was about you scaring the shit out of my girlfriend in Russia, then apologising by getting her impossibly drunk,” he says with a raised eyebrow, not quite managing to keep the amusement out of his voice.

Before Domo can remind Dejan that he wasn’t exactly sober himself, Dejan excuses you both and pulls you towards the table, where you find Šime and a man you’ve never met before but quickly recognise as Ivan Rakitić, or Raketa as he is introduced to you. Šime greets you like an old friend, which, judging by the many times you’ve spoken on FaceTime during his drunken calls to Dejan, you almost are.

Raketa offers you a cookie, and Šime slaps his hand away. “Ivan, I don’t even know how you got those in here! I’m sure Y/N would prefer the canapés that are going around to your Domacica.”

You give him a light slap on the shoulder before taking the cookie from Raketa and eating it. “I love them!” you smile, and promise to buy some.

As you continue chatting to them, you feel Dejan’s hand on your shoulder. You turn to face him, and he smiles at you, making your breath catch in your throat. You always assumed one day his smile would lose some of its impact, but it never did.

“Y/N, there’s someone I’d like you to meet. This is my good friend-“ you follow his gaze, and he doesn’t get a chance to finish his sentence.

You try to say something, anything, but all that comes out is an incoherent yelp as you stumble on your high heels. You try to grab Dejan to steady yourself, but in your state of shock you forget which side he’s on and reach to the wrong side, sending yourself crashing to the floor.

You’re not sure if it’s the sheer awe and emotion of having someone you’ve looked up to and been a huge fan of for so long standing in front of you or the humiliation of collapsing on the ground in front of him, but you start to cry.

Tears flow uncontrollably down your face. You panic, realising that your eye makeup will be getting ruined – what if the mascara infused tears drop onto your dress – which only makes you cry and hyperventilate more.

“Oh my God,” you sob. You attract the attention of a dark haired, muscular man who’d been standing behind Luka. You don’t have a chance to register who it is you’re looking at before he looks at Dejan and gestures to you on the floor while saying just two words. “No good.”

“Give it a break, Mario,” growls Dejan, and Mandzo responds only with a smirk as he walks off.

You have a feeling that will really hit you later - Mr. No Good directing his catchphrase at you! - but right now you still can’t focus on anything but him. “Oh, my God.” It’s the only coherent thing you can say, and you find yourself repeating it until it loses meaning as Dejan picks you up and puts an arm around your waist to steady you.

“Are you okay?” he asks in unison with his friend. You finally manage to compose yourself and nod, tears still running down your face. Dejan pulls a handkerchief from his pocket and dabs your face before kissing your cheek.

“I’m so sorry, if I’d known you’d freak out like that, I’d have warned you, or made sure you were sitting down…” he rambles. “Anyway, can we try this again?” You nod your head yes again, take a deep breath and turn back towards Dejan’s friend.

You expect to see confusion, or annoyance, or worst of all, pity on his face but he’s smiling, a disarming mischievous grin you’d seen a hundred times in pictures and videos.

Dejan chuckles lightly and gestures towards the man.

“This is my good friend, Luka Modric. Lukica, this is my girlfriend, Y/N.”

Luka steps forward. He shakes your hand, then pulls you into a hug. You almost lose yourself again as you feel his silky hair against your cheek, but you manage to hold it together.

“It’s so great to meet you,” you tell him, still holding onto him. You don’t ever want to let go. “I’m sorry about… all that. I’m just a huge fan.”

Luka laughs, and hugs you tighter. “I could tell,” he snickers, then kisses your cheek and lets you go. He looks you in the eyes. “Honestly, there’s no need to apologise. It’s fine. I hope you’re okay.”

You nod and burst out laughing at the absurdity of the situation. “I’m fine,” you tell him between giggles, and he pulls you in for another quick hug before hugging Dejan.

You notice him whispering something in Dejan’s ear, and suddenly Dejan laughs and pushes him. “She does not like you better, you-“ he begins, but Luka simply winks and walks away in the general direction of Suba, who’s busy talking to Domo, Domo’s wife and some of her model friends.

You turn back to Dejan, and he hugs you tight. “I can’t believe you,” he laughs as you hide your face in his chest. “I can’t believe me either,” you say, then you stop laughing for a second.

“I’m sorry if I embarrassed you,” you tell him earnestly, looking him in the eyes.

He cups your face in his hand and strokes your cheek with his thumb. “Of course not,” he smiles. “But just so you know, I’ll never live it down.  He’s going to be insufferable.”

“He seemed perfectly nice about it to me!” you reasoned.

“Yeah, to you,” grumbled Dejan, taking your hand and leading you back to the table.

You sit next to Šime, who’s hunched over a phone screen with Raketa, both almost crying with laughter. Raketa turns the phone screen to you. It’s a picture he took of you taking a bite of the Domacica cookie, then the screen cuts to you crumpled on the floor overcome with emotion. “This would be the perfect promo for Domacica on Instagram,” he cackles. “Please-“

“NO,” you and Dejan yell simultaneously. Raketa pouts, but nods and puts the phone away.

“So,” he asks. “Tell me a bit more about yourself. How did you and Dejo meet?”

You turn to your other side and smile at Dejan, then turn back to Raketa. “We met by chance, at a party. A friend of mine went to school with a friend of his and so we both ended up at my friend’s house party… I fell for him as soon as I saw him,” you smile.

You feel an arm that isn’t Dejan’s lazily drape around your shoulder. You look up and Luka is standing between your chair and Dejan’s, an arm around each of you. “That’s cute,” he grins. “But you literally fell for me.”

You crease up laughing and can’t stop, and Luka joins you. “Idiots,” mutters Dejan, but he can’t stop himself from laughing too.

“I told you he’d do this,” Dejan says with narrowed eyes, and Luka ruffles his hair.

“You know me too well,” he grins, and Dejan gestures to the empty seat at the other side of him.

“Join us,” he offers, and Luka does. As soon as he sits down, he’s handed Raketa’s phone by Šime, both desperate to show him the Domacica meme he’d indirectly helped to bring about.

“Oh, Ivan! Poor Y/N,” Luka laughs, handing the phone back.

“It’s just a joke,” Raketa reassures him. “We love Y/N really.”

Dejan leans in so close that his lips brush your ear. “See?” he says softly. “They love you.”

What I bought - July

Honestly, I’m late with everything because of my work schedule and my health issues orz, so I’ll make this post short. I haven’t bought a lot of stuff lately, at least not “physically” xD

Stage Stars Mag. Vol. 2 + Toumyu Tsuwamono domo ga Yume no Ato DVD

I bought them while ago, I even scanned Kuroba Mario x Arisawa Shoutarou section HERE and Sakiyama Tsubasa section HERE in case you have missed them. I could watch the Honpen of Tsuwamono DVD, but even though I ripped the DVD weeks ago, I still can’t watch the extras! *cries* so I hope to watch them soon, I had a lot of Mikazuki feelings watching this *sobs*
