E. Gadd Headcanons

Stuffwell & FLUDD are Gadd’s bots that he eventually builds into full robots that work as assistants. Gadd eventually grows attached to them and sees them as his own children

Stuffwell

Gadd was ghost hunting around the Luigi’s Mansion 1 mansion and discovered a suspicious painting. Upon using dark light a young boo appeared and Gadd collected him in the Poltergust 3000

When he returned to his lab, the boo appeared to Gadd asking about his research, miraculously escaping the Poltergust! Rather than panicking (completely) he entertained the boo and discovered he was also interested in research!From there they became great friends, the boo began helping Gadd with his paranormal investigations

The boo remembered nothing about its previous life (not even a name) but was friendly and fascinated by Gadd

Gadd eventually offered to build the boo a body and make him his research assistant, which the boo happily agreed! Thus Gadd fused the boo into model “Stuffwell”, a multipurpose robot for assistance. Gadd believed this body would accommodate Stuffwell better for working in the lab

FLUDD

FLUDD was intended solely to be a water hose for Mario while traveling on Isle Delfino, however when she returned to Gadd she was talking, floating and moving. Mario even spoke of her as if she were a person

This is when Gadd realized she was possessed by some sort of ghost, however this ghost was convinced Gadd was her father. She had no recollection of herself (similar to Stuffwell) but believed she was always FLUDD. Therefore if Gadd created FLUDD, Gadd was her “father”

He tried to research her for answers but found… nothing, so he held onto her for a bit and began to like her. She was spunky, but sweet (in her own way). She and Stuffwell got along quite nicely

She eventually grew jealous of Stuffwell’s robot body, and asked Gadd if she could have one too. Gadd thought about it, and figured if she was intelligent and willing to help out around the lab, she deserved a new body too. Thus, he built her up, and they all became a lil family!

Yes I'm aware that the quote isn't from TTYD but it fits with TTYD. I love Paper Mario as well as the Mario and Luigi RPG series. Also stuffwell is better than starlow despite being in only one game while starlow was in 3.

Hey chat I made more “human” designs for Mario & Luigi characters :)

I’ve worded it this way bc these designs aren’t necessarily human ones

This is for the Dark Star. He’s more of a spirit than a human. I originally gave him string arms that were detached from his body and wrists, but I preferred the floating hands more

This next one is for Stuffwell. I wanted to make him look like a generic college professor or office job employee.

Rather than being a human, he’s a robot :)
