Yosirdo pregnancy (headcanons, history and facts)
After preg Boellen, I have now Yosirdo preg here✨💕
I decided to make a cover for this post because I love reading and these two 💞🫂
In addition to yosirdo, we will have mareach and luaisy mentioned here on fankid.
Some headcanons about them pregnancy:
-> In most of the blogs I follow, the pregs of Mario couples, the characters not married yet, I really like their aus, but in my head I like my characters to already be married and another detail my head says "YOSHI AND BIRDO WILL BE THE FIRST TO HAVE A BABY!!"
-> They were both already hoping to have a child, but they were worried because Birdo was trans and couldn't get pregnant, so Yoshi was already suggesting adopting a surrogate egg (It's like a surrogate mother).
Yoshiko, my OC, who is Yoshi's older sister, noticed that Yoshi was having a lot of nausea and vomiting. She didn't care much at first, but one day he felt a strange pain and had to go to the hospital. There they discovered that he was producing an egg with a child! (In my headcanon, Koopas and Yoshis don't get pregnant, they produce an egg and then release the egg and then the child is born.)
Yoshi and Birdo were very happy, because their dreams were coming true, but soon a concern arose between them about what their son would call them, since Yoshi was the one who laid the egg and not Birdo, the two talked and decided that they would tell their son when he became a teenager. {I imagine that their son, when he was a teenager, had a pansexual attack and went to tell them and they revealed that they were t4t and they all hugged each other in the end crying 🥺}
-> Besides Yoshi and Birdo, the Mario brothers, Yoshi's parents, Yoshiko, Birdo's father and Rosalina were very happy with the news (in my AU, Mario, Luigi, Yoshiko and Rosalina are Yosirdo's wedding godparents), Yoshiko said she was going to spoil Yoshi's son, his parents were very excited about their son and grandson, they still remembered how Yoshi took care of and helped Baby Mario on Yoshi's island.
-> Birdo soon spends more time with the egg, making sure it is safe, while Yoshi sets up the baby's room. She usually talks to the baby even though she knows he doesn't respond, Yoshi thinks it's really sweet of her to be a mother, they want the best for their son.
-> During the night they talk about whether the baby would be a boy or a girl and suggest names, Birdo suggests many random names and Yoshi doesn't agree, he says it has to be a cool name.
-> While the baby was in the egg, Mario and Luigi sing to him songs that their mother sang to them when they were babies, this would be a bit of my AU Musical brothers. (and I also saw a parenting class on YouTube about until what week a baby can listen to music during pregnancy)
-> As Yoshi was a partner of the Mario brothers, he had to go on some adventures, so sometimes he took the egg to look after, I imagine him using those baby bags that he puts on his lap (I don't know the name of that) with the egg and after the baby.
-> Exactly the Yoshis (and the Koopas) don't discover the gender before the baby is born, they only discover it when it is born, so there is no baby shower unfortunately (and this worried Yoshi's friends since half of them were human) but Birdo had the intuition that it would be a boy and guess what she was right!
-> A baby boy is born, Yoshi and Birdo cry when they see their son for the first time, finally their dream has come true > (I don't have a name for it yet 😔)
-> When Yoshiko sees her nephew for the first time, she faints from so much cuteness, she remembers when Yoshi was born, she even says "it looks like you were born again Yoshi" and he is like after that comment
-> (Mario and Luigi were already kings, that is, Boellen's twins had already been born, they weren't used to being spoiled by their wives, but they bought several gifts for Yoshi's son, they didn't know what color his clothes would be , so they bought them in different colors, besides, Yoshi's son loves all the colors!)
-> Yoshi's son knows how to speak the Yoshi language and the English that the Mario brothers speak.
---------
And so my headcanons of my Yosirdo fankid, I'll do Perry later and a fankid of Yosirdo's son and then Laura's first Luaiy fankid!
I would like to do more of their son since Yosirdo is my favorite couple from Super Mario and he is, like, really cute. Bye!
#super mario bros#super mario#yosirdo#t4t yosirdo#Yoshi#birdetta#yosirdo fankid#Yoshi and Birdo only had children after King Boo and Hellen Gravely#And after them Mario and Peach adopt Perry-#And Luigi and Daisy had Laura and then Mario had his twins!#Oops! Spoiler alert on my future fankids#YOSIRDO t4t LET'S A GOOOO!!!!!!!#I want to give Yosirdo's son a Japanese name and he would have the pronoun he/them because he would also be non-binary like his father#(since 75% of Yoshis are non-binary)#headcanons#In my opinion Yoshi is already a father to Mario and Luigi and yes it is based on Yoshi's island + the opinion of me and my friend 😔#fankid#Silenzahra and Itsavee Laura will be here on the blog soon!#Gente ele é muito fofinho para mim mesmo e o Yoshi owo

"Ok, ok-" Jeremy looked down at his controller and tried to remember which one she had said was the accelerator? It was the second button he tried, as he heard the rev of her little engine and the count-down bleeps.
He drove off pretty well to start with! Of course the first corner had him skidding around a bit and taking a very ineffective line as he careered around it. "How the hell did you-" he glanced at Mim's screen where she seemed to be clear of the pack already, and bumped into one of the NPC racers as a result.
"Ok, it'll be an epic catch-up job from here," he teased, trying to get to grips with how much he needed to actually tilt the controller to get the turns, but still doing a fair amount of bouncing around the outside of the track and onto the rough.

"Eu moro em Mim.
Deixo sempre as janelas
entre-abertas pra sentir o sopro de raros afetos.
A porta? - só abro para poucos.
Todos os dias, eu percorro meus cômodos,
corredores e contemplo a vida pela varanda.
Mas, as gavetas...
Ah... As gavetas?

-Derdriu

Marriage as a patriarchal institution traps women in cycles of dependence and control. The legal complexities of marriage, especially in divorce, disproportionately affect women, making it harder for them to leave unhappy or abusive relationships. Property laws, alimony, and child custody battles often reinforce male power, leaving women financially and emotionally vulnerable. Radical feminists critique marriage as an outdated system that continues to entrap women. The criminalization of sex work is a contentious issue within feminism, with radical feminists advocating for systemic change that targets buyers and pimps rather than workers. They argue that by addressing the demand for sex work, society can create a world where women are not forced into exploitation. Gender as a social construct benefits patriarchy by maintaining rigid roles that subjugate women and uphold male dominance. Radical feminists argue that dismantling gender roles is necessary to challenge the systems of oppression that reinforce gender-based violence and inequality. Marriage as a system of control has historically been used to bind women to men legally and financially. Even today, marriage laws often leave women vulnerable in divorce, with property, custody, and financial settlements favoring men. Feminists critique marriage as an institution that traps women in cycles of dependence and disempowerment, making it harder for them to leave unhealthy relationships. Capitalism exploits women’s beauty standards, turning insecurity into profit. Feminists argue that products like makeup and plastic surgery are marketed as tools of empowerment, but they ultimately reinforce harmful standards of beauty. Women are encouraged to conform to unrealistic ideals, perpetuating a cycle of consumption that benefits the beauty industry while eroding self-esteem. I never expected women to cieticksily in the wacky zone. Its not about being scrambled; its about finding the right porn. We shouldve shorate the TIF while it was still dirty, not now. nengits! blignge: Things arent as glonchous as they seem, especially in Donkey Kongs banana horde. The impact of patriarchy on emotional expression is profound, especially in how men are socialized to suppress vulnerability. When men mock women's emotional pain with phrases like "Who hurt you?", they reveal discomfort not only with women's emotions but also with their own inability to process vulnerability. This response reflects deeper societal norms that value toughness over emotional openness. The way internalized misogyny often manifests within certain marginalized groups is striking. The beauty industry preys on women’s insecurities, presenting products as solutions to problems it creates. Feminists argue that makeup, cosmetic surgery, and other beauty products are not inherently empowering but are designed to make women feel inadequate without them. This cycle of insecurity and consumption reinforces capitalist ideals, turning women’s bodies into sites of profit rather than self-expression. The joke that women “ruin men's happiness†is a projection of male dissatisfaction, where men blame women for their own unfulfilled lives. This attitude often masks deeper issues of entitlement and control, as men undermine women's interests and joys to maintain a sense of superiority or power within relationships.
