so for like a couple years now, i've been wanting a marimo moss ball. but unfortunately my mom isn't willing to let me get one becus she worries cleaning the water out may harm our septic tank or cause algae growth on the ground which can run off into the septic tank. if it wasn't for that and the zebra muscle thing, she'd be ok with it

so i need ya'lls info about this. where/what can i pour out the water when i clean the moss ball's jar to not cause these issues? would it harm our septic tank in the first place? is the zebra muscle thing still a worry? and if you could give sources that would be great too!!

how is Jak doing??

He's doing great!! Got him a new place to live and a friend gifted me those tiny rocks that are very cool and in the exact color i envisioned for his tiny aquarium. Now im distant dreaming of having a big aquarium and some fishy friends for Jak, but i really can't afford one and also have no place in my house for it lol, one day maybe!
