Okay kids another episode down and it was a combination of WTF and Oh hell no!

The amount of betrayal in this episode is amazing. Shabman I can see because his character is setup for it. Brandy stirring the gangs is basic but she stated her reasons. Viktor is from communist Russia 1980s, where corruption was and still is the only way to stay on top. We all expect them to turn but Marcus... He was harder to turn. In the beginning Lin and Gao where talking about breaking a person. Marcus he has been through so much pain that he can take a beating. Lin was hitting him and just smiled taking all with scarastic defenses up. He could probably last weeks of physical torture because he lived through years of it. Some of you out there know this at certain point when pain is so common place you stop noticing it being hit is just routine like brushing your teeth. You go to different place in your mind. Marcus seeing his parents and himself happy like that it broke into his closely guarded mind. Benjamin's acting was on point you could it happening the walls coming down. The sacred child who desperately wants a home is front and center. So he confesses you do that because you know yeah you'll be in trouble but someone else will get hurt way worse then you. And, he wants what we all want to survive by any means necessary.

The Lin-Gao dynamic. This is interesting because they are related. Everyone else is made family and friends. Gao is either playing Lin, which is highly likely or she's not the heartless bitch she pretends to be highly unlikely. These two seem to have a common interest keeping off the "Gilds" bad list. This means keeping students in line. And the parents satified.

Saya and Maria these two need couple therapy. But I like how they don't betray each other it's great but it shows how soft they are. At this school there are classes and there is learning the hard way. Marcus is a do whatever it takes person, a skill that has kept him alive. Gao knows that now, she can see the value in that.

Lex, Billy, and Peta...not the threesome we were hoping for but good for trying. I like how this episode was shot all this storyline was completely separate from the rest.
