I don't even know if you're accepting requests since we're a work in progress with haru haru but a few days ago , but if you're and if you have some time, could you actually write based on a dream of mine? Like, two days ago, I just dreamed that I was at woozi Studio, and while he was working, sit right next to me, and I was trying to draw him without him noticing

The atmosphere was so comfortable (I can cry right right now just by remembering 😭), so cozy and ours.

In the middle of the process he notice my silence and turn his face to see what I was doing and I SWEAR TO GOD that man let out the most musical and sweet heart laugh EVER heard

i'm really happy that the last issue of the team fortress 2 comic is out now, first and foremost because i love tf2 with all my heart, it's been like family since 2009 for me and still, after all these years, a big comfort in my life.

secondly, i'm happy because there is finally an end now to the constant whining, bad takes, bad jokes and harrassment of the artists over a comic that is for fucking free. people have felt so entitled to a comic that is for fucking free. people had such foul takes like "the artist rather works on dota than the comic" (like, hello? ever heard of sth called work contracts? ppl out here really thought that makani CHOSE to work on dota instead of the tf2 comic and treat it like it's not her fucking JOB) and spread hate and misinfo that lead to people pestering the artists over a comic that is for fucking free. i'm so happy i never have to see a post of a crude mindmap, cropped from a badly pixelated screenshot again and people writing under it "SEE?!? the script is finished WHY won't the artist draw it??", framing it like it‘s their sole fault, and maybe you should not open your mouth if you don't know the difference between a mindmap and a script that has... ALL the info you need to translate that piece of work into a functioning, OUTSTANDING comic.

if it weren't for the artists you would not be reading the last chapter right now, because they were the ones pushing for it from the inside. i hope you all know that.

MAREN HISTORY LESSON!!!

this was the very first drawing I did of him from 2016! his OG design! at the time, he was just like, a genderbent self-insert because my friend wanted me to make a one piece OC sibling. he was always intended to be older and part of the whitebeard pirates! he wasn't part fishman yet. he also got allergies a lot (like me!) so i would draw him with a runny nose. i have since removed this feature from him lol. he honestly looks pretty similar to his current design though except that he used to be super twinky to match my body type.

here are the only other drawings I have of that old design (along with my friend's oc)

his next iteration didn't come til way later! in 2022 or so? basically i had no interest in any canon/canon katakuri ships at the time and realllly wanted to draw him with a "good future". so i took my old op oc and made him fit katakuri a bit better--i wanted him to have sharp teeth so i decided to make him a fishman, but keep him looking fairly similar to the old design. so he was only half. it was also important for me to have a partner who was katakuri's size because i think he deserves to be held <3 so that's where the idea for a porcupinefish/pufferfish came in!

I got a bit better at drawing chubby bodies and made this reference, which is the closest to a current ref i have. back then, i had this thought that he'd only look chubby when he "inflated" since it makes more logical sense that way.

but i later felt that having a character who was "optionally fat" was just insulting in a way (and also bordering on fetishes that i wasn't particularly interested in my work being part of). so now i just draw him fat at any size, at varying levels. if i could change this reference, he'd be chubbier on the left.

and here's the latest most "reference" appropriate art I've done of him. I love this because I tried to make it fit the OP anime style as much as possible so it's really fun to see how people translate this into their own style.

Obsessed with the story. What is Talia's route gonna be like? I want Sonia and Callen to tease my MC for their attraction towards her when they deny it hehe

Her route, while mostly planned out, is yet to be in my focus proper since she's the last RO who appears in Book 1.

Though I'll say a lot of Talia's route is about her regression as a person, and how the world she's been thrust into warps and changes her beyond recognition. Whether you're there to pull her back from that or encourage that transformation is up to you. By the time Talia appears, MC isn't exactly having the best of times 😉

To condense it into a few words: tense, cutthroat, spontaneous! Talia is quite the chaotic figure, and she likes people who can keep up with her.

And of course, Callen and Sonia will be there to tease MC no matter who they're pursuing. There's no point in them having a kid if they can't make fun of them, is there?

How I feel about this character

I love Katakuri - he's one of the most interesting antagonists in One Piece, and I don't even know if antagonist is the right word for him. sure he stood opposite Luffy, but there was such respect there, a respect Luffy doesn't often recieve from his adversaries.

Luffy, I think. I saw a comic where he ended up on the Straw Hat ship post WCI and that just delights me.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I'd just like to see more of him. Especially how he's doing post-Wano. What kind of situation is WCI in? How he's coping about Pudding? I'd just like to know more.

not going to lie, i am a little offended that you would suggest that i just don't like them /j

but in all seriousness, for me especially, fran embodied chelsea and obviously they are just redoing their house together. i wouldn't be surprised if we see them go to the same or a similar place just to finish out their careers before retiring. i think they both have a few more seasons left in them before they retired in their newly renovated house with their dogs (that really isn't near any other london team btw) they have been quietly dating for years and i am not surprised to see them leaving together

honestly with akb leaving too, i think chelsea has lost a lot of experience which can be very dangerous and that my might hurt them next season but i want to withhold judgement until we're deeper into the summer transfer window

they have only locked down cuthbert, ingle and carter until 2025 and i think that's dangerous too.

i honestly have NO idea where fran and maren would go. fran has never played out of surrey. literally, she has never played outside of a team that trains in surrey a specific county just south of london in england so seeing her anywhere else will be weird and i can't see her back at reading, they couldn't afford her if they didn't have the owner problems. she also has a number of health issues that need to be managed by any club she transfers too

maren has played in norway, sweden, germany and england. like there's no real clues about where they'll go but i'm going to throw out some clubs that could try and get the two of them not considering where they want to go: real madrid, man u and wolfsburg are both always searching for new players, west ham if they want to stay local and take a pay cut, a return to swedish or norwegian leagues with sk brann or hacken. brann has an english coach that could attract english players. the nwsl is always looking to snap up talent. san diego wave and casey stoney will know fran well from their lioness days but honestly it will be weird to see either of them wearing anything other than a chelsea shirt

So, Aella is the Salhan deity of the Ocean & Travel/exploration, and for most of her existence she was a neutral god (not part of either major Pantheon), like most deities from the Maren Family are. The Marens in general tend to have power over Primal domains, natural forces that Can't Really be controlled. Amatus, Aella's uncle, is the god of Weather and Loyalty, for example, with Weather being his Primal domain.

So during the 14,500 years she was an Unaligned Deity, she'd sail and explore Salha's oceans & very rarely spent time on land, any stops she did make were mainly supply runs.

She had a crew with her for most of that time, with her crew mainly being made up of captains of ships she took over. She always gave the captains two choices; join her and she'll bring the crew to safety, or refuse and she'll kill the captain and their crew. Most captains chose to join her.

Though since she was a Deity and her crew was Mortal, she ended up having to replace most members of her crew "frequently" (to her it was frequently)

She normally took over ships via luring them in with Siren's Song, a mind control power used mainly through singing. Aella is also able to broadcast her voice pretty far. Normally, her crew is unaffected by Siren's Song, though they're never sure why.

around 500 years ago, she made the mistake of attacking one of Light Song's ships, Light Song being the tyrant ruler of the Fallen Pantheon. Light Song killed Aella's last known crew, and forced Aella to make the same choice she'd given others; join, or die. Aella chose to join, since she was defeated and lost sight in one eye.

For basically all of her time with the Fallen Pantheon (500 years ago to now), Aella's been closer to Vizerxa than Light Song. She deeply misses her final crew, especially since one of the members was her lover, Cordelia, the second in command.

Aella really doesn't like being in the same place for long, but Light Song refused to let Aella even go near a port city, so she was trapped inland with the Fallen.

When Vizerxa took over the Fallen Pantheon around 5 years ago, she let Aella go back to her nomadic sailing ways, giving her a ship and some basic supplies. the only condition was that Aella had to stop by either the Bright Palace (the Fallen's home) or a port city that was chosen beforehand, every few months in order to check up on her.

Her favorite color is blue, her favorite flower is the lotus flower, and her favorite food is baked salmon :3

Ooooo this is a good question! I’m a massive fan of the movie Coraline, so I think I would have had to have chosen Coraline! She’s soo cute and I love Dakota fanning SM

Other roles I’d want to play is definitely Katniss, Nina from S&B, Arya from GOT (if her storyline was more book accurate tho💔). Also Ik I keep listing tv shows, but I would have loved to play any of the woman in avatar the last air bender as well!!! And maybe Nobara or Maki from JJK. I would also have loved to play Maren in bones and all- such a cool and fascinating role!!

Since i saw you bring up Boo I'm gonna be honest and say for a while I thought your OC Maren was Boo. I first found your art sometime before I watched dressrosa and so when I saw Boo for the first time I thought it was Maren and I didn't take note of Boo's name. Also I thought him and katakuri were like the rarest rare pair I'd ever seen.

maren is older than boo, so i have this funny gag in my head that boo is actually a maren stan and that's why he does his hair like that
