going off your modern!coryo headcanons… i could imagine him getting really jealous when you are interacting with other men (even if it’s like a waiter or colleague) and he decides that he has to remind you who you belong to
No but fr he’s like this:
Tumblr media
based on these hcs
send me coryo, luke, or anakin asks (this is a threat)
Tumblr media
Coryo's all charming wide smiles because he's enjoying being able to spend time with his s/o until a male waiter comes to their table. He only takes you to the most upscale places in the city that, even if he has to fight you tooth and nail the whole way there. He will vomit in your new Marc Jacobs tote bag if you ask him to get you fettucine alfredo from Domino's one more time.
It's even worse if you're in a booth, because his hands will start to wander up your thigh until he's cupping your pussy through your panties under your skirt.
How fast his strokes are depends on how much he thinks the waiter's pushing it. He's had to call whatever restaurant you're going to ahead of time to ask that no male employees serve you. It slipped his mind this time, he won't make that mistake again. His internal evil monologue carries on as he spells out his name on your covered clit with his fingertips.
He’ll be across campus, and he swears that he can sense a guy trying to accompany you to class. His hairs on the back of his neck stand up and next thing you know, he’s standing like Slenderman behind you as he stares down the guy you’re with.
You have to awkwardly smile and tell the guy that you want your boyfriend to walk you to class instead to get Coryo to calm down. Even then, he's doing this corny gesture where he's slowly dragging his finger across his neck as the guy walks away.
His person suit is back in place by the time you turn around to level him with an unimpressed look.
"Sorry about that, baby. I guess some idiots just don't know when to back the fuck off." He croons, slinging an arm low across your waist and digging into your hip to self soothe.
He really wants to slap your ass as you walk through the door to your class when he notices that same guy looking over at you.
You manage to be quicker than his palm. Your butt under your pants is already a light pink from this morning.
Coryo always gets his coffee from his fleet of coffee machines that comprise his specially made coffee bar (that he made for you because the first time he ever saw you was when you were getting coffee at the campus coffee shop that you work at). However, he never fails to stop by your work on your break (he knows your schedule by heart, but he still wants you to text him as soon as you're available).
One of your male coworkers prepares his order while he talks with you. He doesn't think he's imagining the way your colleague's teeth are grinding together and how his eyes narrow every time his eyes flick towards your boyfriend.
Coryo has the steadiest hands in the world, they never do anything he doesn't want them to. That doesn't stop him from blaming the hot coffee soaking your coworker's uniform on him being shaky.
"Oops! My nerves are shit, I guess. Do you need a few bucks to for your shirt?"
He doesn't mean it.
None of that was as bad as three months ago. You and your boyfriend don't share many classes together but the ones you do are hard to focus in.
It happened in your Age of Augustus Latin class. You and Coryo usually sit together (for easy access) but you were unusually late coming back from the bathroom. Most of the seats were full and the only available ones were far apart from each other. Neither of you were pleased but you couldn't change it.
The boy next to you was a brunette that you guessed was on some kind of sports team due to his jersey that he hadn't changed out of. You didn't pay him any attention (you could feel the eyes burning holes into the side of your head) and leaned back as you listened to the lecture.
Halfway through the lecture, an arm was laid on the back on your chair with a yawn.
You could hear a pencil snapping in the near distance.
You shrugged the arm away and that only made the boy pop your personal space bubble to whisper in your ear, "Can I borrow a pencil?"
You shoved a spare one into his chest and turned your attention back to your professor.
The class went by with more ambiguous actions. You knew it was over when heavy footsteps were followed by a familiar hand wrapping around your forearm.
The drive to your apartment was a blur. Coryo's rings made impressions in your thigh as he ran several red lights. He told you that he didn't really care about that right now, his dad would take care of any ticket he'd get anyway.
Sooner rather than later you found yourself face down ass up in the king-sized bed you shared with your boyfriend.
Your boyfriend whose face was buried deep in your ass cheeks. He had them pulled apart so he could tongue your hole properly, pulling back to spit on it and smear his saliva around your rim. He wiggles the tip of his tongue around your walls before tongue fucking you like your asshole was the only hole he knew you had.
He gasped as he pulled away again to breathe, jiggling the massive globes of flesh in his big hands. He opened his mouth wide and let more spit drip from his tongue onto your winking hole.
"Damn, baby..." He breathed, jiggling your cheeks again and then doubling down on the marks he made earlier.
His palm felt warm as he reared it back and spanked your crack, "You think just any motherfucker would know what to do with this ass? You think they'd make out with your asshole like they'd try to do with your pussy?"
You couldn't speak through your moan as he thrusted one of his thumbs into your hole.
"You're so right, petal. No, they wouldn't." He said and took his thumb away from you, patting your butt when you whined at the loss, "So why don't you get up and come sit on my face?"
Your boyfriend was all laid out for you like a four coarse meal, shirt already discarded and his pants unbuttoned. He tapped his nose bridge and grinned with too many teeth, brushing aside the curls that fell over his eyes.
"Right here."

A Classic Tale of Tragic Romance
The play All for Love or the World Well Lost was penned in blank verse by English poet and playwright John Dryden (1631-1700) in 1677, a significant work for Dryden and a notable contribution to the genre of heroic tragedy, with many scholars considering it one of Dryden's finest works. Our copy is from an edition printed in London for Jacob and Richard Tonson in 1740 (although the handwritten information on the paper wrapper says 1750).
The play is an acknowledged reimagining of Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra, which focuses on the last hours of the lives of its hero and heroine’s tumultuous relationship. Set in Alexandria, Egypt, the play follows the tragic love story of Marc Antony and Cleopatra, queen of Egypt, as they struggle to overcome political intrigue, jealousy, betrayal, and their own personal demons. The play explores themes of love, honor, duty, and the struggle between reason and passion. Ultimately, the play ends with the tragic deaths of Antony and Cleopatra, who choose to die together rather than live apart.
John Dryden was an accomplished English poet, literary critic, translator, and playwright, and in 1668 became the first Poet Laureate of England. He stated that writing this play was his attempt to reinvigorate serious drama. Dryden's play, with its exploration of complex themes and its reimagining of a classic work, was a bold and innovative contribution to the theatrical landscape.
The Tonson publishing firm was a powerhouse of London publishing for nearly a century. It was founded in 1677 by Jacob Tonson the Elder (1655-1736), who formed a close association with Dryden, publishing much of his work in the final decade of Dryden's life. In 1709, Tonson secured the publication rights to Shakespeare's works, and a year later, in partnership with his nephew Jacob Tonson II (1682-1735), he moved his shop to Shakespeare's Head in the Strand. The Tonsons' signature emblem was a small woodcut image of the Bard, commonly found on their title pages as seen here. The Tonsons listed as the publishers of this booklet are the elder Tonson's great-nephews, Jacob Tonson III (1714–1767) and Richard Tonson (1717-1772), the last of the Tonson publishing clan.

as much as I am thankful for Dior inviting MA to these events, and while I wouldn't exactly be opposed to them becoming ambassadors (nevertheless, i'm gonna ignore most of those looks), I wish we'd get them to try out other brands too. I understand that it's truly just at the discretion of the brand/s, but MA is being boxed in style wise, and I feel like there are other brands more suited to their personal style.
AND while I love seeing them together (and they clearly love working together), I do think that there are certain brands that suit one over the other better...I know that their faces would typically carry anything for me, but I would love more fitted fits or any fit that suits their more typical style, and Dior is just not either of those atm.
so I don't have genuine insight into this but Jeff has attended an in person Marc Jacobs (LVMH) event in Bangkok, attended the Versace (Capri Holdings formerly Michael Kors) show in Italy in March, and just did a campaign for Valentino (also LVMH). another data point, Lil Nas X who attended the Versace show alongside Jeff is currently a Coach ambassador (Tapestry, Inc. formerly Coach, Inc) and also did a collab in 2021 for LV. So it's certainly not to say having an ambassadorship is limiting Mile and Apo's other fashion opportunities with other fashion holding companies. LVMH has so many brands they could rep, and having an connect with not only the directors within Dior but LVMH itself has been notable
also now since it's been long enough that people's feelings won't be hurt by speculation without substance, I had privately theorized to some people that part of the reason Mile may have had to turn down the Bulgari (LVMH) events Apo did in December was because a non compete contract with Maserati hadn't expired yet. Bulgari is mostly known for extemely expensive jewelry and watches and most people might not even know Maserati has watches and they aren't in the same price range but it could've been seen as a conflict by Maserati. So wasn't it interesting that Mile and Apo started the Dior campaign in early January together. another data point: mileapo's farger contract expired on 3/31 (confirmed by Farger).
Dior might be testing the waters of how much bang they're going to get for their buck too. I had also thought, given the ambitious nature of Man Suang at international film festivals circuit, a high fashion brand might want the exclusive rights to dress them for all the red carpets, which for BOC could be very lucrative. Putting Mile and Apo in front for Dior seems to be part of a larger strategy at LVMH. LV is the stable brand that drives the highest volume and sets the average, but LVMH has been vesting a lot of effort into making Dior a giant.
All this to say is, don't worry: a successful partnership with Dior opens many other doors at LVMH and neither of them are like marrying Dior as a brand even if they are announced as ambassadors. to me, this opportunity coincides with funding and marketing around a very specific campaign (Man Suang), so just take it for what it is.

BB TRICKZ SHARES NEW SINGLE "MISS RACKZ"
Tumblr media
Fresh off her recent appearances at New York Fashion Week for Coach, Marc Jacobs, SP5DER, and more, Spanish rap phenom Bb trickz has just shared her new single "Miss Rackz" — out now along with an accompanying music video. Serving as the second offering from her Sum'er pack EP following her recent link-up with ATL star KARRAHBOOO on "Pharrell", fans have been clamoring for the song's official release since Bb first teased it during her performance at Lollapalooza Chile earlier this year. Backed by a bouncy, minimalist beat, "Miss Rackz" finds Bb trickz weaving determined, unapologetic bars ("Él quiere amor/Yo quiero a mis racks") across the track's hypnotic instrumental — making it clear that she's as dialed in as ever as she turns the page on the next chapter of her career. "Miss Rackz" arrives amidst a hot streak for Bb trickz — Charli xcx recently tapped her to heat up Brat Summer, teasing an unreleased, Bb-featuring remix of her song "Club classics" at her latest Boiler Room set.
youtube
In addition to a performance at Coachella 2024, recent months have also seen her release the Kevin AMF-assisted "Jálale alv" (105M Streams), which marks her biggest song to date (it recently achieved Gold certified status in Mexico), "Soy la Más Mala de España (30M+ Streams) alongside Bryant LR, and "Trickstar"(8M+ Streams) with El Baby R, with whom she also collaborated on the Omar Montes and Tino JJ-featuring "Yo Soy el Mas Chulo de España" (4M Streams). The tracks stamped the artist's first offerings since her Sadtrickz EP, released last year. 2023 proved to be a momentous year for Bb trickz, who has taken the internet by storm with her standout blend of tongue-in-cheek lyricism, polished vocals, and playful aesthetic, initially showcased on “Missionsuicida” (17M Streams) from her debut EP Trickstar. Continuing to cement herself as a singular force within pop culture by flexing her widespread international appeal, Bb trickz has since accumulated nearly 2 million monthly listeners and earned co-signs from the likes of Rosalía, Karol G, and Veeze. Now with "Miss Rackz", Bb trickz is entering her next era — and turning her unorthodox sound into a worldwide movement in the process.

What do you think about Harry wearing clothing like the ‘I’d rather work in a barn sweatshirt’ (worn while stunting) and ‘Sticks and bones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me.’ (Rihanna song about her relationship with the media), and ‘Did you ever feel like a fire hydrant and all your friends were dogs’. (most recent one lol).
Also the iconic Marc Jacobs trio from fine line promo:  ‘Stay away from toxic people’ and ‘you’ve got issues’. And ‘I’m gonna die lonely’ and ‘My life is crap’.
I feel like it is his humor and a lot of people say that to sort of brush it off but morbid humor is “funny” because there is truth to it, ya know? Like it’s a coping mechanism for the person telling the joke.
Yeah I do kind of think Harry might have a morbid sense of humor. I know I've said it before but I suspect he internalizes a lot of things. Therefore his inner thoughts might come out in the form of his fashion choices. It reminds me of liking a tweet

Galactica, part 104
Fame looked around, trying to spot someone, anyone, who wasn’t some wet behind the ears intern or assistant with a clipboard and actually had a say at Marc Jacobs, when she saw her.
Bianca had just entered the backstage area, an inescapable vision in a bold red, black and white, the graphic prints and sharp lines drawing every eye to her.
At first, Fame felt ice cold, and then burning hot, her fingertips tingling, her throat dry, her heart hammering away in her chest.
Tumblr media
Previously: Courtney scored a record deal, Shea met her newest subject, and Adore vowed to keep things casual with Alaska.
This Chapter: Courtney works out, Fame searches for stress relief, Shea has a theory, Jinkx tries to forget the past, and Violet gets a late-night visitor.

MileApo in the Associated Press article on Dior's collection!! They were one of the few stars highlighted in the article.
Tumblr media

In case you aren't familiar with how AP works, it's one of the oldest English press syndicates in the world. The stories are distributed to members, U.S. newspapers and broadcasters with the exact same text and content so dozens of press junkets run the same story with the same photos!!
What is fashion? On Dior Fall 2023's Gateway to India collection
I also wanted to take a moment to share some of the pieces from the show, which once Elle India shared them, I was like ...oh... this is actually a good collection. (Kim Jones needs to stop being allowed to dress MA)
First of all, some important context from the AP article:
Dior has had a long association with India through the Mumbai-based atelier Chanakya, which works with artisans and underprivileged women.
“I personally wanted to celebrate and showcase the incredible knowledge India offers to the international world of fashion in the field of embroidery, the mastery of the artisans who continue to work on this craft, and the commitment of Chanakya’s founders to preserving India’s history and culture, portrayed by each embroidery technique,” [Dior women's creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri] said in an Instagram post.

There's this brilliant post detailing one of the dresses, the Peacock Dress, from colonial Britain that had thousands of detailed sequins and embroidery made by expert dressmakers in India who were never given credit for their work. The style and couture expertise of these Indian dressmakers who were subjugated to colonialism was stolen and claimed as British culture.
Tumblr media
recently [Cathy Hay] been more outspoken of the fact that British colonisation really enables these wealthy western Europeans to wear gowns that almost look impossibly beautiful, but rightful credit was of course never given to the people who made it [...] I always wonder about the craftsmen behind so much of history's most beautiful art. They're never named because the one who commissions the work, the patron, is usually given all the undue credit.
I think it's obvious I don't love (Kim Jones') Dior, but what collaborations like these do is elevate Indian fashion and couture expertise beyond the level of cultural fashion to high fashion, as something worth celebrating for its luxury and specific vision and a rightful label that was stolen from them by British colonialism.
And by using Indian models -- of a variety of skintones that reflect the diverse population of India -- and also naming and openly celebrating the atelier Chanakya and its dress makers, it gives an opportunity for Indian fashion and dressmakers to share their specific vision of fashion as ART with the world.
Is it still branded under Dior? Sure, but Dior is the vehicle that facilitates this publicity. It's so important that Chiuri highlighted Chanakya as a collaborator driving this collection with their vision. And it gives this atelier and other Indian designers an opportunity carve out names for themselves that might mean eventually their own brand is the highlight. Don't forget that Marc Jacobs led Louis Vuitton and Tom Ford led YSL and Gucci before their own brands became big enough.
This isn't a restorative justice, it doesn't right any wrongs, but a way to create opportunities for people who were always a driving force of fashion. It's economic opportunity. And it's art. So there is still a place for fashion in the world.

In the vibrant world of fashion, the intersection of creativity and commercial viability is crucial, particularly for established brands seeking reinvention. Moschino, under the new creative direction of Adrian Appiolaza, aims to strike this balance by blending its iconic surrealist heritage with a more approachable aesthetic. This new direction comes at a time when the luxury market is contending with challenging times, making Appiolaza’s vision all the more significant. From the outset, Appiolaza has made it clear that his approach revolves around finding a harmonious balance between reality and the theatrical elements that Moschino is known for. “It was important to find the line between reality and theatricality,” he stated, highlighting the brand’s evolution towards a more grounded silhouette while maintaining its playful spirit. This shift marks a significant departure from the flamboyant, high-energy camp style that defined his predecessor, Jeremy Scott. In the brand's latest campaign, short clips reveal a young woman engaged in everyday activities, but with a whimsical twist. One moment captures her biting into a trompe l'oeil leather clutch designed to resemble a baguette. Her casual demeanor paired with such imaginative accessories underscores Appiolaza's blend of surrealism with daily life, aiming to resonate with a youthful audience while remaining true to Moschino’s roots. Appiolaza's commitment to honoring the legacy of Franco Moschino is evident through a deep dive into the archives. He meticulously examines the founder's iconic motifs—clouds, polka dots, trench coats, and faux pearls—translating these into modern designs that feel fresh and wearable. His educational background at Central Saint Martins, coupled with decade-long experience working with esteemed houses such as Loewe and Marc Jacobs-era Louis Vuitton, empowers him to inject a unique perspective into Moschino. Critics have responded positively to this refreshing narrative. Tim Blanks from The Business of Fashion noted, “Appiolaza has a handle on eccentric realness,” showcasing how he effectively breathes new life into iconic elements while still making them relevant for today’s consumers. The intention is clear: the new Moschino will offer fashion that allows individuals to express themselves without the excessive constraints of past flamboyance. As Appiolaza prepares for his second outing at Milan's womenswear week, he faces the dual challenge of innovating while attracting the commercial interest that has dwindled in the luxury sector. Parent company Aeffe reported a 15% decline in Moschino’s sales during the first half of the year, highlighting the urgency of Appiolaza's vision. Executive Chairman Massimo Ferretti expressed confidence that the new stylistic route could renew the brand’s appeal to a broader, international market. Traditionally, the fashion industry has been cyclical. Brands often reinvent themselves to keep pace with changing consumer expectations and market dynamics. In this context, Appiolaza’s focus on relaxed denim ensembles and T-shirt dresses alongside his hallmark surrealist elements seems to align with current consumer trends favoring comfort and ease. His plans include launching the "Tie Me" bag—a sleek, top-handle creation adorned with leather strips—that aims to enhance the accessory segment, crucial in today’s luxury market. With new stockists like Dover Street Market and Galeries Lafayette embracing the brand, it appears that Appiolaza's approach is already taking root in the industry landscape. Moreover, collaborations with stylist Nunzio del Prete and former i-D editor Alastair McKimm signal Appiolaza's commitment to infusing fresh ideas and perspectives into the Moschino aesthetic. These partnerships are indicative of how the industry dynamically evolves; they show a blending of established creativity with emerging voices to push fashion boundaries further. The upcoming collection, featuring deconstructed fabrics
and exaggerated tailoring, aims to pivot from fashion as mere spectacle to a platform for playful expression. “The ordinary becomes extraordinary by just playing with it,” Appiolaza emphasizes, reflecting a desire to invite individuals to engage with fashion without pretense. As the industry continues to grapple with its complexities, the real impact of Appiolaza’s vision remains to be seen. His ability to meld the whimsical with the practical could dictate whether Moschino successfully navigates the current luxury landscape. Time will tell if this adventurous spirit will resonate with today’s fashion consumers, ultimately determining the brand's trajectory in the months and years ahead.
