MARAUDER LOCKDOWN

... Tbh he is more of a "vagrant" but that sounds too low for his reputation IMEAN--

I'm both excited and nervous to show at last a proper reference for my own interpretation of this character 💚 I think it's not a surprise anyway for the ones that know me and my love for him ksdjhfjdsfh

I wanted to do it too so I can work comfortably on my HCs that edge in very OOC territory from the canon (and even some fanon)... and because I admit I have been enjoying sharing short stories and RPs with people again ✨ and activity I missed a lot!

And of course, this interpretation got its own whole backstory that differs from the canon and follows my HCs and concepts around his species, but I'll talk about that in another post (or if someone is curious enough to ask for it coff).

For now! Have more initial sketches from when I was developing him (this is since... 2022 gosh).

First: a time ago I used him for an old (discontinued) post-apocalyptic AU with designs inspired by hunting-scavenging clothing. A friend said he looked like Robin Hood x'D

... I almost didn't change the way I sketch digitally. Anyways. To not let this rot, you can notice I used many design cues from this one!

Then during half of the past year, I did studies of his ROTF toy because I liked how that one kept the weird silhouette of the TFA but aligned to the IDW design too!

And from there I chipped away traits and straightened others until it felt right to me.

BONUS one of the first and fastest sketches I did for him during a conversation with @goobygnarp x'D Thanks to this I not only got the courage to finish the reference but to understand WHAT design cues I wanted to keep and didn't give me too of a headache.

So I had to think about this for a bit, because I couldnt think of OCs in stories ive read. A lot of what i consume are reader inserts, because I feel like those dominate fanfiction nowadays and are hard to avoid. And like... unfortunately, i do not remember the names of the ocs of fics ive read in the past, lol, so I'll just list out some of my OCs.

I'll do my rp characters, though, I feel like theres a lot of them that I love and miss.

tw; All my characters have traumatic pasts regarding abuse. There are mentions of death of spouse and child, prostitution, neglect, R * pe, torture, slavery, and alcoholism.

Arwyn Frey - Game of Thrones

Hokay, so she's not really an OC. But there isn't anything about her canonically, so she practically is one. Arwyn is the sixth daughter of Walder, and is rumoured to actually be a bastard, sired from Black Walder (Walder Sr's great grandson). Lol I know. She used to be Walder's favourite child, because she amused him, and therefore lived wild and free and without consequence.... until it became Walder's problem, in which case he had her detained in a tower for months as punishment until Catelyn Stark makes the deal with Walder to marry one of his daughters to Robb Stark. Arwyn has claustrophobia after being locked up in a tower. She's super disobedient, runs away from her problems, thinks she's stronger than she is. Reacts impulsively and doesn't think about the consequences of her actions. She also loves bugs and anything that creeps people out. In a lot of my RP's she is either forced to go the Capitol, or Winterfell, and falls in love with Jon Snow or another northern lord.

Bran Scabior - Marauders Era

Bran Scabior is the father of Scabior in the main series. He's completely made up. He calls his son Scab, or Scab Jr, and he sired his son with a German prostitute, who hunted him down just to drop off his son off his door and leave. Bran is... insane. He was always eccentric growing up as the only child of an old family line that was dying out. During Grindelwald's Rebellion, he became one of his acolytes and spent most of his time in Russia with a team of witches and wizards. To make a long story short, they were captured and put into a gulag where Bran had to watch his friends and the woman he loves get tortured and R'd, and then killed. Bran is an animagus, his form is a crow, so when he escapes he spends years hunting down the men who killed his team. By the time he returns to England, he joins Voldemort's death eaters as a body snatcher. He's homeless, leaving his son in the care of his family's house elf. Bran also frequently has ptsd outbursts, has a hatred for Russians and is a massive alcoholic.

Dorian Sinclair - Bridgerton

Dorian is a horror author from a very large noble family. He is the middle child, the odd ball, and has a strained relationship with his siblings and his parents. He had been neglected as a consequence of being in a large family with many siblings, and bullied by his elder brothers. He made friends with the rats in his house, and he owned one he named Dandelion, who was later killed by one of his brothers as a prank. Dorian is a genius and graduated college at an early age, and his career as an author skyrocketed when he was young. Now at 30, he has at least 10 famous works of fiction, all horror or science fiction. He's also a socialist and hates the aristocracy, despite being a part of it. He's a bit of an alcoholic, as most authors are lol. He has frequent nightmares that he uses as inspiration for his works of fiction. He's awkward around women, doesn't know when they're flirting with him, but he is quick witted and has a dry dark sense of humour.

Sigyn - Star Wars (Fic)

Sigyn is part of a Star Wars fic I never got around to finish. She's one of Luke Skywalker's students. She grew up in a brothel with an abusive mother, but she was protected and ultimately raised by the Madam of the house. Her birth father is Ren (Not Kylo Ren, the original Ren, the original leader of the Knights of Ren) whom she doesn't meet until adulthood. Then Luke found her and brought her to his academy for force users. Sigyn's character is built around a physical manifestation of DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), where she has a fractured personality due to extreme complex PTSD. As Sigyn, she is a weak force user, but has a talent for mind control, but it only goes so far before it gives her a headache. However, when she is distressed or angry, her alter persona, "Fenris" takes over, where her force is much stronger and untamed and difficult to control. Sigyn had a massive crush on Ben Solo (Kylo Ren), who at first was annoyed with her because he thought she was too weak and useless, but eventually took advantage of her, knowing her feelings for him. Anyway, to make a long story short, the two of them end up being Snoke's apprentices, where they often butt heads over who is the better force user. It's a very complicated non-linear story that goes back and forth quite a bit.

Jack Harding - Bridgerton

Jack Harding is an OC I made recently for a bridgerton rp. It's not his actual name, he has changed it several times over. His real name is John Lloyd, but Jack Harding is his current name. He's a former naval soldier (Petty Officer) of the British Navy, who had deserted during The Battle of Trafalgar. He was captured by the Corsairs and was nearly sold as a slave, but was rescued by pirates across the Atlantic ocean, and in turn became a pirate himself. Before Jack joined the navy, he was married to his childhood love, where they lived in a small fishing community on the coast of Wales. He spent years trying to get back to his wife, living his life as a pirate so he could save money and go home. However, when he does return, he learns that she had died during childbirth of their first child (who also didnt survive), and both of his pirates had also died. Jack kind of retreated into himself mentally and put his entire self into a life of piracy and put England behind him. To make a long story short, he stole plans from the captain of a ship he was working on that described how to go through the North West Passage. With it, he goes to England and tries to get rich noblemen to invest in his scheme, only to swindle them of their money and flea England as soon as their funds pay for his nice new shiny ship. Jack loves widows and making up lavish stories. Theres a lot more to his story than that, but this description is already getting too long lmfao.

Hello! We just opened a new group rp on discord and would love to have at least 7 more people join us. The plot is as follows: Year 1982. It has been announced the war Voldemort caused has come to an end! The dark wizard has been destroyed all thanks to the Order of the Phoenix and a few members of pureblood lineage who betrayed you know who and helped our good side. As many deaths as there have been, plenty have been saved as well. The Aurors and the remainder of the Order are still in the midst of taking care of the last enemies that may be walking around, so caution is yet still advised. 

There have also been rumours about the famed Albus Dumbledore… The Order warned that he does not have the right intentions we all so hoped and believed before. He was on our side against Voldemort, but now.. Whatever could he be up to?

18+ rp server set in the Marauder Era. This is an AU set up by three admins who value a chill and casual environment where open communication is crucial. The writing itself is all about chemistry, vibes and how you would like to further your character’s development. There will be a general plot line to ensure ALL characters get some plot relevance and have plenty to write about.

Important plot points to keep in mind whilst creating your character: 

- Severus Snape, Regulus Black, Barty Crouch Jr, Evan Rosier, Peter Pettigrew and Lucius Malfoy all betrayed the Death Eaters and helped the Order defeat Voldemort instead. (it is possible to tweak this/add to the list depending on which characters you choose!)

- Dumbledore is not a good person, this au focuses on his more manipulative/evil side. He is an npc that will be written/shown in a plot continuation post by one of the admins.

- Peter did originally join the Death Eaters, but eventually told his best friends the truth. He spied on the Death Eaters for the Order. You are free to fill in his character otherwise. 

- We begin the plot around the last year of the war while the horcruxes and DE’s get hunted/caught/found. 

We offer: 

- Your own category with your own text (1-1 chats) and thread channels. 

- Groupchats for characters to chat with one another. 

- Social media (posting pictures, twitter etc). 

- Group rps, casual ones, depends entirely on activity and how many people want to join in, or what the setting is and game based group rps. 

- 2 characters per person with the option for a third once the rps are well on their way and everyone had the chance to grab characters they’d like to write.

While it’s canon that Aras; can’t read well, doesn’t have a great educational background, and lacks many social skills due to her background, she is NOT stupid. She  is relatively street-smart, has plenty of survival skills, and is resourceful. She didn’t survive alone for 10 years on luck.

I don’t get to rp it really, but she is a thief. She’s light on her feet and she can hunt animals surprisingly well. She can make one of those one way fish traps. She knows how to handle most knives and she can wield an axe. (Catch me RPing her as a marauder when I’m long dead. But she CAN.)

She is more than a bastard gremlin, she is a bastard gremlin that is quick, skilled, and will claw a man’s eyes out. And I really need to RP her just snapping and going 100% survival mode.

Hello! I’ve posted once before and that turned out fairly well, so here we go again! For introductory purposes, I go by Arturia Pendragon online (as you can see from all of my means of contact haha) and I’m a 19 year old college student living in the Central Timezone. I’m working currently as well as being a full-time student, so I can’t guarantee quick replies, but either daily or semi-daily. If I’m any later than that, feel free to shoot me a message! Chances are I either forgot or honestly thought I’d already replied.

What I want from you/want you to know is: 

18+ (not necessarily due to NSFW content like smut, but more so a comfort thing along with the fact that I am a sucker for tragedy and angst in my roleplays and don’t hold back in putting my characters through the shredder.) Also, smut is not a guarantee, do not come to me to be your smut-centered rp partner cause I will not do that for you, sorry.

I don’t care about your personal gender, just don’t be a creep OOC. That’s the quickest way to get me to just drop the rp. If you’re being a creep or saying things that just are unsettling, I will not bother with the niceties of informing you of me leaving the rp, I will ghost you 

Speaking of OOC chat, I enjoy it! I’ll be a bit formal at first, but trust me, I love OOC chat and will easily spam you with headcanons about our characters. If OOC chat isn’t your thing, that’s fine! I’m totally fine having this rp be a business transaction where we only swap replies and occasionally chat about the plot and such. Just let me know which you prefer!

Don’t control my characters! I will state that I’m not the most advanced in fighting scenes (I’m steadily working on it though!) but even I know that autohits are not okay in the slightest. Give my OC a chance to react and I’ll gladly do the same for you, even in normal scenes of the rp. Now, this does not apply to simple things like opening a door for my character or them just walking while talking.

Tell me your limits and triggers! I do not want to run the risk of accidentally upsetting someone, so please help me out and tell me your limits and triggers! I will gladly do the same for you. 

Do not pressure me for responses! I stated my typical activity above, which can vary depending on my life and how the rp is. I will always try to inform you if something comes up and it’ll be a bit before I can reply. But, do not pressure me for multiple replies a day. That’s one way to guarantee a longer wait for your reply, because that just as easily makes our rp feel like a chore, when it is supposed to be fun for both of us.

This rp is a collaborative thing! Please do not just turn it into your story with my OC being the side character. I enjoy people coming up with crazy things and surprising me, but I do not enjoy feeling as if I’m only there for you to not be writing to a wall.

For the roleplay-related things:

I play all genders, but do not use me simply for male characters. First off, my male OCs are not written as well due to a lack of experience in writing them (but I am trying to improve) so if I use a male OC, it’s likely a requirement for us to double with me also having a female OC. Again, I don’t want to make the rp feel like a chore and if I’m solely writing a male character, that’ll likely happen.

I do not play solely canon characters. If there’s canon characters, I’ll double so each of us can play a canon and an OC character. If you want to play only canon characters, that’s fine, I just prefer not to.

Fantasy, especially medieval fantasy! But a modern fantasy setting would be very interesting as well, especially if it’s a modern setting where other species are hunted.

Apocalypse, cliche but we can twist it into anything we want! Give me a roleplay that starts out as a normal apocalypse at first glance and turns into some sci-fi mess with our characters at the center of it and I’ll literally be so excited about the rp.

Slice-of-life is okay, but I can get bored, so be forewarned if you’re looking for that.
