Funny thing... it was Neloth at the beginning. He was the reason I started writing Miranja's story. Then it was Modyn and Geldis and Revyn and Sondas and... you get the picture!

Then one day someone suggested that I give Talvas some page time cos aside from his co-conspiring in the first few chapters, I had kind of skimmed past him.

Miranja took Talvas to Skyrim and showed him how her life away from Solstheim went, and lo and behold, they fell in love (though Miranja was too slow to acknowledge her true feelings, not wanting to be tied down).

I was so regretful of how I ended their relationship, I had to salve my conscience, so I wrote What Might Have Been. And the picture I drew of their little family was the culmination of that whole fantasy - in my mind, nothing could top the beauty of that outcome. A part of Miranja's heart and soul will always be bound to Talvas.

I'm so in love with that picture it's my wallpaper both at home and at work!

"Picture how bad it’s been. It’s been sung and told, how bad it’s been.
