At the startle of the deity, Lucille’s shoulders shook with giggles, but no sound emitted from her at all. Whirling around with Wind, the spirit became right side up, her bare feet touching into the grassy ground beside the god. A small shift of her tattered dress under her knees and Lucille moved to crouch beside the other.

At the question, Lucille opened her mouth, but then closed it. Instead, a hand was risen, twirling briefly before a parchment formed in the air. Dark script filled it as the spirit’s lips moved, which once they were done, the paper was handed to the other.

‘Well enough. I am a bit lost. I am hoping you can read this and perhaps tell me what lands I have come across?’

Should Sinagtala look back up at the originator of the words, she would be greeted with a bright, broad smile.

itty floated high over the treetops then soared down, flipping onto her back and staring up at the sky above. the clouds were white and puffy today, and if the deadbeat looked close enough it could make out the shape of a teapot and maybe a.... pig???? well it looked like some sort of an animal for sure!

there was a sound that caught ittys’ attention, like someone walking.... quickly flipping back as it soared, the deadbeat noticed a woman up ahead and !!!!!! there was no time to stop, the ghost phased right through her and..... ooops. quickly going over to the woman's side, itty gave her an apologetic look. "i'm so sorry miss! i didn't mean to go through you! are you alright?"

“Likewise, Starfire!” Sinagtala grinned at the friendly gesture, returning the hug. It wasn’t long she pulled away to look at her friend, nodding slightly.

“I’d love to!” She clasped her hands in delight, appearing to be enthusiastic about it though she had no idea what things to do in this new festivity she had been hearing, “So… what should we do first?”

Starfire clapped happily to the agreement, and then reached into her bag to take out one of the silver-white-beaded necklaces.

“There is not much to do in an order for Blorthog! It is mostly about the togetherness and the appreciating of the friendship! But a very common activity, and a thing that I prefer to be doing as the first action, is the gifting of necklaces accompanied with well-wishes!” Holding out the necklace, she waited for a moment to be sure that Sinagtala was alright with the tamaranean placing it, and then gently moved the necklace over her friend’s head to place it around her neck. “May your exploring always lead you to wonderful locations, and may the nature and the people around you always be glorious and kind!”

A snake? The wolf looked down, spotting the creature. She was cautious, but the smile on her face suggested otherwise. She, unlike the other female, was not afraid.

“It’s just a snake. He’s more scared of you than we are of him.” Robin grinned, staring at a safe distance. It didn’t seem to be venomous. 

“He’ll be on his merry way.”

They’d both been out walking when Susan got the buzz on her walkie-talkie. They needed to get to the city. And ASAP. To be honest, she was never expecting another alien touchdown. They’d had close calls, and the pumpkins, but if she took care of it once she could do it again. 

Her expression switched immediately from pleasure to business as she relayed the message. 

“Alright Tala, looks like we’re going to have to cut our walk short.” She clipped the device to her breast pocket, so she could hear better any updates as soon as they came. “I’ve gotta get to the city, it looks like there’s been some sort of alien attack.” 

“Do you want to come with me? You’d be closer to the action, but you’ll be safe. The Jumbo Jet’s pretty heavily armored.”

Link eyed the door, then Sinagtala before giving an exasperated sigh. He was looking forward to the meal, but he’d be lying if he said he didn’t want to get the jump on whatever the alarm was for. Although, maybe he could use the call as an excuse to get out of the cleanup. 

“Alright,” he grumbled, making a point to sound more put out than he actually was, before loping a little too eagerly towards the table. 

“But let’s get started. If we make quick work of this we can be kicking butt by 9.”

📼 - An interrogation tape emerges regarding a recent interview with your character. What are they being questioned for?

Breaking someone’s nose with her boot. 

Because, let’s be honest, is there anything else Imelda would ever pulled into questioning for. 

But it could also be that she is being questioned in connection with actions a certain esposo has done of late. 

Because Héctor has habits that are hard to break, habits that don’t go down well with authorities. 

But it could be, and this is the scenario I prefer, a mixture of both. Héctor did something that got him in trouble with people he would do  better not to get in trouble with. Sad person tried to manhandle Héctor and rough him up, Imelda attacked said person with her boot and fractured the nasal area of the skull. Both esposo y esposa called called in for questioning, both have to be bailed out by their own children and grandchildren. Both insist it was a gross injustice.
