in my school if you got sick, you’d be sent to the clinic while your parents would be called to first get your school things from your classroom before being able to pick you up.

my friend got sick in the middle of a school day once and like I said from the first sentence, her mother arrived to the classroom to gather her things but with my friend’s little brother.

here, we call older sister’s ‘ate’

and he waddled inside looking for her and was like: “ate? ate??? mama asan si ate? [mama, where is sister :(] in the cutest voice while going to sit on her stroller bag.

so imagine that but with maple and kazuha

Kazuha being miserable throughout day when he got sick in the middle of it, always with his head down on his desk, threw up his lunch and ended up borrowing Tomo’s jacket because it was freezing for him despite him reassuring Tomo it was fine, of course he would take that for an answer.

By the time Mama Kaedehara came to gather his things, little maple was brought along, little child in a jumper suit and a pacifier hanging a string attached to their neck and a cactus toy (loved that person’s idea of maple having a cactus toy) waddling in first looking for their big brother.

“nii-san?” aand proceeds to ask the cactus toy if it knows where to find kazuha only for it to repeat what they said.

“no, I’m asking you where he is!😠” cute little pout, with Tomo waving earning sparkly eyes from them by seeing their brother’s best friend

“tomo-nii!!”🤩

along with Venti, Xiao, Aether and Heizou and even Scaramouche who typically hates kids but is greeting maple 🍁.

and I’ll let you imagine Maple finding out Kazuha is sick and going to the clinic to actually pick him up

this is literally how i discovered tomo's grave too and i was literally too stunned to do shit i was just staring at it 😭

baby maple would be so confused too, there's no way kazuha would bring them to the fight so the last time they saw tomo would he before he decided to face the booba sword. kazuha just quickly grabbing a hold of them and running away without explanation, no tomo in sight, would be confusing to maple. it would be after the vision hunt decree that they first see tomo's grave :')

"how long have we been streaming, chat? i feel like i've been here for almost three hours now."

kazuha chuckled quietly, the microphone placed near his mouth making it sound deeper than it is.

the light in the room is very dim, switching from green and red, but the light behind his camera was warm like the sunset, contradicting how late it is. kazuha's been streaming for almost three hours now, finishing up the new event in his game and doing some farming.

"it's two in the morning already?" he read in the comments, pursing his lips sheepishly before laughing, "time is a social construct, we can go for a few more hours."

"go to sleep," the female automated voice pinged, inciting another laugh from him.

"thank you for that, i'll go to sleep in a few after this quest," he chuckled lowly, "i hope everyone's doing well this summer. thankfully, school is almost over—" his hand clapped in a small motion, "—so, i have more than enough time to stream with you guys. also, good luck to anyone dealing with their finals!"

"do you have any plans for the summer?" he hummed, casually finishing his domains while pondering over his answer.

"well," he smiled, remembering his promises of going out on a trip with his little maple. the mental image of your puppy dog eyes pleading to go on a trip with your brother stuck in his mind.

"i have a few places to be. i've scheduled a few short trips this vacation with my family—"

the night went on, kazuha softly speaking into his mic and conversing with his viewers. the volume in his headset is little loud, the battle music and the constant clicking of his keyboard blocking his hearing that his ear failed to catch the sound of door creaking open, nor did he hear your soft sniffles. he went on with the stream, still speaking to the mic. however, the mic seemed to have caught the sound of your sniffles.

"hm?" he squints his eyes at the chat moving in speed, all asking about a sound of his door and a kid crying. he rolls his eyes, shaking his head, wondering why they would try to fool around at a time like this. maybe to get him to sleep?

"very funny, chat."

"onii-san..."

he yelps, body jerking away from the slight tug on his sleeve, headset falling to rest on his neck and whipping his head towards your cowering form—right next to his chair, but since you're small, your height doesn't reach the top of his desk, covering you in the darkness.

his breath hitched from shock, groaning softly and taking a moment to compose himself.

"jesus, maple!" he exhales in relief, a hand on his chest, "you scared me for a moment there. why you still awake—are you crying?" the gears in kazuha's brain immediately switched, forgetting the thousands of people watching and listening to him as he leans closer to you, cooing softly, "maple? is everything alright?"

"onii-san," you hiccuped, throwing yourself on his lap, stuttering over your words, "had nightmare. want onii-san's hugs. i'm too scared to sleep..."

your voice was so quiet that he almost didn't hear it if he wasn't leaning close to you.

"oh, maple," he hooks his hands under your arms, lifting you up on his lap and hugging you close, rubbing your back and pecking the disheveled mop of locks on your head, "onii-san's right here. want to spend the rest of the night here with me?"

"onii-san's not busy?" you look at him from his chest, sniffling.

kazuha can see an arrow lodge itself on his chest at the sight of your puppy eyes, smiling widely and patting your head.

"of course! i'm never too busy for you maple," he carefully shifts you from your position, "i'm sure no one will mind you joining the stream."

"the stream?—"

"kazuha's little sibling is so adorable."

"eek!"

you shrieked, clinging onto your brother, who couldn't help himself from bursting into a laughing fit. he covers his mouth, slightly bending over to hug you tightly while trying his hardest to muffle his noises.

"oh my god, maple," he wheezed.

"someone spoke!" you wailed, sobbing on his neck, "that doesn't sound like okaa-san!"

"i—," he inhaled sharply, "—no, that's not okaa-san, maple. it's just one of our viewers," he gently nudged you to look at the computer. your teary eyes immediately flying towards the chat box that seems to move too fast for you to be able to read.

"there's no ghost?..."

"mhm," he chuckled, voice still a little shaky from his fit of laughter, "there's just the two of us and a thousand of people watching through this tiny thing," he points at the camera settled behind his pc, "wanna wave and say hi?"

"hi..." you trailed off, wide eyes staring at the dot on the camera, "boowers."

"aaah," he giggled, placing a smooch on your forehead, "it's too early to be this adorable, maple. want to watch me play with our 'boowers' until you fall asleep?"

"but want to stay with onii-san," you pout.

"onii-san will be here even if you fall asleep, m'kay?"

"m'kaaay."

AU where Kazuha really does leave us and maple wakes up to no Kazuha and tries to look for him and realizes their words were true, they were a burden to him:(( they start crying really loudly and the Kamisatos have to try to comfort them but it doesn’t work since Kazuha is always the one that comforts them (starting Kazuha hate page)

y'all really want some angst after all the fluff we had for the past few days huh?

maple will not be able to function properly after that :( for the first few months, they're gonna be looking for kazuha, just mindlessly walking around the kamisato estate and crying "onii-san" as if calling out to him. they'd have a permanent frown on their face and every night they'll cry themselves to sleep, always waking up to nightmares and screaming for their brother. it never cease to break ayaka and thoma's heart. they'd do their best to calm them down, never really succeeding unless maple cries themselves to sleep again :(

one day, a thread will snap and maple just... stops looking. stops going out and spending the whole day searching. stops crying with kazuha's name on the tip of their tongue. stops being miserable.

and starts hating the mere mention of his name.

they become stoic and quiet, never really speaking unless spoken to. they'll go about their day, helping thoma and ayaka in their errands. they'll approach ayato, asking them to teach them how to fight. they know how to hold a sword, ayato can see that, but it doesn't matter because they want to forget the kaedehara's art of sword and instead asks ayato to teach them the kamisato's art of the sword.

maple becomes a completely different person.

they don't have that childlike glow anymore. their crimson eyes are now dull, like the blade kazuha used when he was young. discarded and useless. when introducing themselves, they never include their last name this always make thoma sad whenever he's around to hear it, saying that they don't have one and that the kamisato clan took them in, the same way they took thoma in. ayato didn't want to make things more complicated and just let them say what they want. they don't have the same enthusiasm they once had when catching or eating fish. they stop practicing their skill in poetry, choosing to use the time to train because maybe no one will leave them behind if they become stronger and more useful.

one thing that won't change though, is their love for adventure. it is ingrained in their heart. to venture the world. to see the world beyond the ocean surrounding inazuma. but they don't, fearing that they'll bump into kazuha at some point.

sometimes, they'll find themselves reverting back to old habits that they do when kazuha's still around (like shifting their fighting style to the one that kazuha taught them or smiling whenever they caught a fish, turning to excitedly tell kazuha, only to remember that he had left). when it happens, maple bites their lip to not cry, cursing and insulting themselves.

"pathetic. weak. this is exactly why he left you."

OKAY. IM NOT SURE IF YOU WATCH DEMON SLAYER BUT OMG-

What if lil maple is like mitsuri ( little spoilers? Not too much just a bit) like super super strong like her.in manga it's says that mitsuri is 8 times stronger then normal person and when mitsuri was 13 months old, Mitsuri lifted a stone that weight around 10kg (I'm not sure in manga it says "4 kan" but i think that 10kg)

Anyways!

Lil maple is really really strong! And i think Kazuha mentioned that Yoimiya's fireworks are heavy, but what is lil maple just lift them whitout struggle! Or when maple was 4 they were able to hold kazuha's sword even tho it was heavy for kids that age.

even some of crew members were surprised when lil maple would help them carry heavy things around

the kaedeharas are a known samurai clan, hence kazuha being a ronin (masterless samurai, i think that's what he is if my knowledge in samurai things serves me right). neways, i think it was mentioned in some of my fics that maple does watch kazuha when he's practicing his swordmanship. i headcanon that the kaedehara clan, despite the whole irodori shit drama, are set on training their descendants in using a sword (soumon swordmanship, according to kazuha's talents) and that kazuha was trained in his early childhood. the same goes for maple!

for a short period of time before the complete fall of the clan, maple had started with the basics, still clumsy but they know what a sword can do to a person. but since they're a timid person and the whole runaway thing, they weren't able to learn all that it takes to use a sword

BUT!

they've always been stronger than your average kid! to be able to hold a sword, you need to be strong enough to wield one! (kendo classes coming in clutch lmao) while maple haven't learnt much with a sword, they can pack a strong punch! their timid, soft, and child appearance can fool anyone, even kazuha when he first saw maple deck someone on the shins!

kazuha's not completely clueless when it comes to maple's strength. due to his father's *ahem* family drama *ahem* it was mostly kazuha who trains them, especially now that it's just the two of them left and he doesn't want them to be completely defenseless. he knows, like KNOWS, about maple's strength. fuck the sword when they can render someone's leg useless with a punch to their knees!

he's seen maple carry heavy metals when they're still at the estate, helping in cleaning the spare swords and when the family swordsmith need assistance. heck, he's seen them swing a real sword around, clumsily tho because they haven't started training by that time yet, but they can carry it without wobbling like any normal children would! he soon found out that it wasn't just purely from training that maple got this strength, but somewhere in their family bloodline, someone had super strength or something that skipped a few generations and now maple has it his mother theorized this when he told her about maple's sudden burst of strength and he spat his tea out from shock

"oh my, are you sure you want to help, little one?"

"mhm!"

it's been a few weeks since you and your brother joined the crux fleet. the crew was very welcoming to the two of you, letting you travel with them even after you escaped the vision hunt decree. to repay their kindness, kazuha had decided to help them in their feats for the mean time. and wherever kazuha goes, you go.

you weren't exactly a bubble of happiness around other people. you keep to yourself, collectively calm like your older brother but you still have that glow that children has. you're eager to discover and see the world with those sparkly young eyes! beidou and her crew cooed when your eyes sparkle at the sight of liyue harbor while excitedly rambling to your brother how different it was to inazuma.

despite being shy and reserved, you're very helpful! assisting and running errands around the ship and making everyone happy at the sight of your tiny figure going around the deck with a determined look to help others.

kazuha stood at the side with a proud smile, nodding and telling himself, "mhm, that's my little maple," and beidou would sigh, "yes, we know, you've told us a thousand times already."

that's why, when you first tried to help in carrying the shipments in and out of the ship, the whole crew had their jack slacked to the ground.

imagine a child, seemingly weak because of their small stature and quiet nature, casually carrying a box filled to the brim with wine and other products without breaking a sweat.

everyone casted a look on kazuha, seemingly unaffected and unbothered. in fact, he doesn't seem to be shocked in the slightest!

"your little sibling..." beidou's voice trailed off.

"hm? what about them?"

he searched for your tiny figure amongst the crew, finding you waddling back and forth to deliver boxes in and out the deck, and looks back at the crew's astonished face. he paused, before snorting when he understood what made them so shocked.

ah, he could never get tired of other people's expression when it comes to your strength.

"oh, that's normal. my maple has always been like that."

"NORMAL!?" they all exclaimed, while your menace of a brother laughs.

"that's a box filled with shipments of fireworks from the nagonohara family!" one of them pointed out, "even you complained how heavy it was!"

"and they just carried on like it was nothing!"

his laughing fit trailed off, glancing back at your focused face, smiling softly at the sight before his smile turned smug, proud and amused at their reactions.

"well, that's a kaedehara for you~"

"THAT DOESN'T EXPLAIN ANYTHING!"

oh, how he loves whenever this happens.

kazuha fondly watching these two kids interact with each other because they're kind of the opposite from each other. maple, who has a gentle glow and kind, but shy, smile, and phoenix who has their walls up high and barely a semblance of childlike glee in their empty and tired eyes. maple comforting phoenix who had never really opened up to anyone before. phoenix who just discovered how good it feels to not bottle up all their pent up emotions and ends up crying because they've never felt this kind of comfort before :(

kazuha ready to cut diluc in half because he's an incompetent father, we love to see that >:)

after phoenix calms down, they help the two kaedeharas around the landscape of mondstadt and showing them the best spots that their uncle kaeya took them to. in turn, maple tells them of stories from inazuma and the pretty places they've seen on their journey in liyue. just two little souls enjoying the comfort of hanging out with someone their age. kazuha's just there watching over them and making haikus because this is honestly such a wonderful moment.

later, diluc would notice the different aura around phoenix. he doesn't know why, but he feels warm knowing that phoenix had a good day.

kazuha clutched both his hands on his chest, doubling over the his kneeling position and falling on his side, curled and lying limp on the ground.

tomo almost sputter his soda at kazuha's terrible acting, he can see how his shoulders slightly tremble, obviously failing to hide his laughter. he shakes his head, looking back at his phone. until a tiny gasp caught his attention and he's once more looking back at the two, this time almost choking on the soda.

"onii-san?..."

your quiet whimper almost broke kazuha's character, but he held it in, clenching his eyes shut tighter.

"oh my god," tomo covered his snickers with a hand.

"onii-san... tomo-nii, onii-san's not moving," your tiny hand gently shook your brother's shoulder. when he didn't respond, your teary eyes looked up to tomo, who moved closer to kazuha. "tomo-nii?"

"oh no, maple," he gasped dramatically, covering his mouth to hide his smile at your wide teary eyes, "you killed him!"

"no!"

your lips trembled, tears streaming from your eyes and throwing yourself over kazuha, hugging his arm and burying your face on his shoulder, crying.

"i hope it was worth it," tomo bit the insides of his cheeks.

"noooo! no he's not dead!"

"i'm sorry maple, but i have to get the funeral started," he grabs onto kazuha's shoulder, pulling him away from the sobbing child.

"n-no no no! help me save onii-san!" your little arms held onto kazuha, your body hanging over him as you cry, "i don't want onii-san to die! no! he's not going to die!"

tomo's knees fell on the ground shaking, laughter bubbling out from his throat as he held his stomach, falling next to kazuha who seems to have tears in his eyes and his shoulder shake from laughter.

"noo!" you wail, hand reaching over to tomo, "you can't die too! i hate you but you can't die yet! help save onii-san!"

"OH MY GOD," kazuha burst into giggles, turning on his back while wiping his tears.

"onii-san! you're alive!" you throw yourself in his arms, still sobbing.

"I'M GOING TO DIE!" tomo wheezed.

it's safe to say that the whole afternoon, you wouldn't let go of kazuha. it'd be a while before you even start a play fight in fear of actually killing your brother.

Maple is now extremely strong because all of that training and stuff. So Kokomi thaugh that Maple could really help in a battle. Ayato didn't let Maple, because after all, Maple is just a kid. But Maple took this opportunity to see how strong they are rn. So Maple told Ayato that they will go see Yoimiya or smth.

AND

Now Maple is fighting, everything is going well for now. But then Maple saw someone familiar.

"Kazuha...?" They kinda freezed at the spot and didn't notice that a soldier was shooting them with arrow.

maple wakes up in hospital or whatever, in bed with Kazuha sleeping on the end of bed. (YK YK LIKE HE IS ON HIS KNEES AND HIS HEAD IS ON BED YK YK)

i dread the moment i see peach anon in my inbox because they always bring angst to me and i don't know whether i should be grateful or not

so yes i really think it would be just them sneaking out and trying to prove to ayato and internally they want kazuha to know of their strength too that they're capable of taking care of their own

and yes i prefer the happy ending goddammit

seeing kazuha beside them would turn the events so fucking much. imagine hating your brother for a year and seeing them in battle and beside your hospital bed when all this time you thought they didn't care about you? maple's conflicted and is emotionally overwhelmed. they don't know whether to be happy or not. deep inside though, they know they're happy to see him. no matter how much they deny it, they miss him terribly. but they're also still upset and frustrated and confused to the point that they just end up bursting into tears.

this would wake kazuha, who snaps to sit up the moment he hears their cries after a year of not seeing them.

when he tries to comfort them, this is when maple just... explodes on him. they yell at him—something they hadn't done before—everything they bottled up just pours out and into kazuha's trembling hands. they curse him while telling him how horrible it was to be separated from him, tells him they hate him but complains about how painful training was but they persevered because they wanted to be good enough for him, tells him that they don't want him back and that they don't need him but whimpers how lonely it was and to "stay, please, i don't know what to do without you."

in the middle of this, they hadn't noticed that kazuha had taken them in his arms and they have been hugging him tightly. they'd panic, trying to push him away and crying harder because they hurt him and he'll never want to be with them anymore.

but kazuha keeps them against his chest—they suddenly notice how fast his heartbeat was and the tears at the side of their head, his tears.

contrast to their yelling, kazuha speaks in the softest voice—a little shaky because of his tears—and admits how it was foolish of him to think that they'd have a better life in the care of the kamisato and that they won't suffer as much if he doesn't take them with him. he admits that he wanted to go back and bring them with him, but we feared that the tempest of storms will hurt them in their journey. he tells them of nights that he'd see them in his sleep, ten years from now, cursing him and hating him. tells them of the nights he'd cry himself to sleep because he missed having them in his arms and that maybe they're feeling cold without him too. he keeps apologizing, "i'm sorry, i'm terribly sorry, i'm sorry."

maple whispers that they too felt cold, the whole year they had been separated from him.

and for once, maple forgot everything and held their brother in a tight hug.

kazuha would later ask kokomi for help with the ache around his torso.

So Abt angst. When maple got hurt during battle, what were Kazuha's thoughts. ( What we probably know is that,that soldier was never seen alive again🤷‍♀️)

no one's allowed to lay a single finger on maple unless it's to pat or coddle them! >:(

it's like time stopped moving for kazuha. he can hear his heartbeat thumping in his ears, the cold sweat on his back and the sudden heaviness of his body and sword. the air he inhaled got stuck in his lungs and soon enough, his feet had pushed him forward with the speed of the wind.

'no, not again.'

never again will he let any god take from him. never again will he be too late to save those that are dear to him. before anyone can even lay another hand on you, he had slashed all that are in the vicinity, the wind cutting all who has ill intention towards you and forming a storm as a barrier. he embraces your trembling figure, hushing your cries and whispering reassurances in your ear. the way he cradles you contrasts to the harsh cuts the wind gives to anyone who approaches.

and until he gets you out of there safely, the wind will continue to rage.

kazuha is constantly a victim to maple's strength! they always cling to him and every time they squeeze his hand when frightened or hug him a little tighter, it never fails to take his breath away because of the pain but he never tells them ofc, yes they're a little painful, but all for the sake of maple's happiness and comfort!

he's always mindful of reminding them tho! it becomes a part of their training!

"well, there's no saying whether what you do is good or bad. you could be causing pain for others and consider it good because it is what you like to do. you could be stealing from someone and say it's good because you're doing it for your family. yet, these things would be considered bad to the victims and outsiders who don't know you," he takes both of your hands in his, tiny and soft hands blanketed in his warm and calloused ones, "in the end, you decide what's good or bad to not only you but also to the people around you. mistakes cannot be avoided, but you can make up to it by doing good."

he knows you're listening intently, like you always do when he speaks. it shows in your wide eyes that replicates his, how your fingers twitch between his hands, and the way your eyes turn determined and sharp, looking up at him with a look that certainly belongs to a kaedehara. strong willed and passionate.

"i want to do good things!" you exclaimed proudly. gone is the dim and insecure aura from earlier, but he knows it'll be back in a few days.

"i know you will," he places a quick peck on the top of your head, "you already do."

What do you think, what takes kazuha to be really mad at maple?

this is actually so hard to think of? because i honestly think that kazuha is incapable of expressing his anger verbally and physically towards maple, if he even gets angry at them at all. also, he's a relatively calm person and i think he's the type to correct maple on their wrong doings in a calm manner :']

kazuha being stressed and accidentally expressing his worry towards maple would make it look like he's angry, because maple's safety is something he doesn't want to risk. he frowns deeply and his voice goes a little higher in volume as he lectures them on their safety. he doesn't do this out of anger, but because his fear is mixing in with the frustration he feels whenever he's unable to prevent problems from happening, especially problems revolving around maple. but even as he does this, he always calms down after his speech. at the end of the day, he hates being the reason that maple's upset and he makes sure that they know that he's not angry by giving them hugs and kisses, whispering reassuring words and comforting them.

i can't think of anything else other than maple getting seriously hurt because they didn't listen to him. maple's a good kid and would never throw a tantrum over little things, they didn't grew up in the best environments so they know that being demanding isn't going to help and they don't like upsetting their brother. but when it comes to the topic of their capabilities to protect themselves on their own? it always ends up in a debate between the two of them. maple can keep insisting that they can take care of themselves, but kazuha doesn't like risking things and being uncertain. and when maple does get hurt? oh brother, kazuha's not having it.

he's silent when things are seriously bad. heck, maple would wish he'd say something, scold them, tell them 'i told you so', anything instead of just having that disappointed look on his face.

don't get him wrong tho, he's not doing this to punish maple, archons know how much he hates upsetting them and he knows them like the back of his hand. but he just really doesn't know what to say because all he can mentally see is maple getting hurt more worse than this and being too late to save them. it's hard enough to steady his hands while tending to maple's wounds/injuries, having to talk while doing so would break him and he might just go into tears right in front of them. the only way to snap him out of it is if maple asks him if he's mad, in which he'll answer no and just bring them in his arms, weakly mumbling just how scared he was after the whole ordeal. after that, he'll apologize for scaring them before sternly telling them to never do that again. maple apologizing too would be such a relief to him.

in conclusion, he doesn't get mad, but he does gets frustrated. however, he never forgets to show maple how he loves them and that his intentions are all for good.

Soo right after running away after that big argument and getting into a life and death fight. Instead of falling into a big ravine that leads to the abyss, they fell right off a cliff and into the ocean.

Beidou and her crew probably found the kid floating on something and is nearly dead. She rescue the child and heal them up but because the extent of Phoenix’s injury they loss their memories. So now the entire crew basically adopted Phoenix. (Let’s just Phoenix hasn’t met the kaedehara siblings yet)

Or alternatively Zhongli found Phoenix who got wash up to Liyue. Took the child to Baizhu to heal up, found out the kid is suffering from amnesia and decided to take in Phoenix. So now baobei has a human sibling to play with while Xiao is on patrol or when Zhongli is too busy to look after them.

BEIDOU AND HER SECOND CHILD T^T

the crew adopted phoenix on spot the moment they said they don't remember anything. beidou would attempt to help them get their memories back to get them home, but naturally she'd be too attached to actually send them away. so in the meantime, she and her crew does their best to make this somehow stoic child who doesn't smile much and seems to have trust issues for some reason :'> she'd definitely send some letters to kazuha regarding the situation too! maple and phoenix seems to be the same age (maple's six and the current timeline where phoenix gets kidnapped in the au is nine, so no beidou phoenix's is older but does remember shit HAJSHAHAHA)

on the other hand, if they end up with zhongli, they may still end up meeting childe because y'know, human wallet thingz.

it'd be a little complicated if zhongli tries to introduce phoenix to xiao. phoenix is only a child and human, so they can't really stay around with xiao so they'd mostly be with zhongli, who sometimes asks xiao to bring baobei to the harbor so they could get along.

ngl the dynamic between baobei and phoenix would be so chaotic because baobei's a literal infant in adepti years and they'd literally run anywhere that catches their eyes. cue phoenix becoming an older sibling to them and being stressed BECAUSE SOMETIMES THIS LITTLE DEVIL CAN BE A HASSLE TO DEAL WITH AND THEY'RE AN ADEPTI SO NATURALLY A HUMAN LIKE PHOENIX WOULD FIND IT HARD TO MATCH BAOBEI'S ENERGY ACKCKKSF 😭

It says that Kazuha's mother died, now i have 2 ideas. What if Kazuha's mother died while giving birth to Maple or what if their mother died of illness.

Let's say some months after Kazuha left, Maple started to feel weird. They would get more tired, even whitout doing physically hard job, they would get sick often,it's hard for them to fall asleep and they feel weak in general. Maple at first ignore it, thinking it was nothing, but after 4 weeks they told Kamisato siblings about how weird they feel lately. Ayato called a private doctor (i bet they have a private doctor) to check what is wrong with Maple.

AND TA DA!!

Maple got the same illness that their mother had, doctor said that he will keep and eye on Maple and check them here and there to see if it is bad, and that Maple should rest for a while.

(ofc Ayato wrote a letter or smth for kazuha to inform him, but that everything seems fine for now and he shouldn't be too worried)

It was going well, everything seem normal, but one day....it just...went down, you know. Maple suddenly felt worse than before. Maple got a high fever, started to feel really weak and they barely got any sleep. Their condition got worse everyday.

At that time visions hunt decree ended and Kazuha was excited to see his beloved sibling after so long! After battle,first location he went was Kamisato estate. He was expecting to see Maple doing well and happy. But...he was wrong!😱 When he entered the estate he was meet with Ayaka's (we love her!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️) sad eyes and Ayato right beside her. He asked where is Maple.

"Kaedehara we- *sigh*about Maple, last 2 days they... their condition got worse and doctor said that,well..."

"They don't have much time left." Ayato finished Ayaka's sentence." Their room is at the end of hall on right."

(Let me tell you, kazuha was faster than Sonic at that moment)

When Kazuha opened the door he saw Maple laying on bed,sleeping. Their look so...weak. Kazuha kneeled beside them, holding their tiny hands in his. Their hands were so cold and their breathing was heavy, they were slightly shaking and they had sweat on their forehead.At that moment Kazuha literally felt like a damn sword went through his chest. He didn't know what to do, he just stared at them. He felt like his whole world was destroyed.He didn't want to believe it, Maple is so young and innocent, they didn't deserve that.

"Nii-san?" He was bring back when he heard his little sibling's voice. His little Maple, his everything. They sound so weak, he barely heard them.

"is this really you? Am I dreaming?"

He kissed their forehead and laid his bandaged hand on their warm cheek. "H-hey there...No, you're not dreaming, it's me...it's all alright now, its gonna be o-okay." He didn't notice tears running down his cheek, he was to focused on Maple.

"Rest for now,okay? I'll tell you everything about my travels once you get b-better, alright?"

"Okay... goodnight nii-san..."

"Goodnight little one, p-please get better soon."
