Now that I’ve started this crossover nonsense, I figured I’d just keep on going with it... so here’s Mao wearing the Baron’s Masquerade outfit! Unlike the source material, his mission to rescue the heroine isn’t going smoothly.

I know what you’re thinking - I already drew Haimaru as the Baron, so this scenario doesn’t make sense!? But just ignore that >.>

Takes place during Haimaru’s time in the Kodoku pit- he’s been fighting and killing to survive, and so far has been the victor of every creature that’s been thrown in with him.

And now he’s sprouted two more tails, and this kitty is scared.

I love Haimaru so much why did I draw angst.

I love Tenko soooo much! She’s so pretty and nice, but isn’t afraid to omnom somebody when attacked, making her really cool too!!

I really hope she and Nanoka get to spend some more time together - growing up without a mother, I’m sure our heroine could use a cool big sis in her life especially for advice on all the dokidokis Mao’s been giving her lately ^///^

We haven’t seen Tenko in color yet (as far as I know), so I had guess her colors. Regarding the fluff around her neck... it seems she can use leaves and the like to create offshoots of herself to a degree (as seen when she sent an SOS to Mao and co.), so I thought it’d be cute if she made use of one as a fashionable muffler in the winter~

I just got this silly yet irresistible urge to draw Haimaru / Byouki looking like an antagonistic version of Baron from The Cat Returns?

But I think the idea was better in my head ^^;;;;;

I suppose this is for Mao Week Day 1, but it’s late!! If I draw other pieces for it they’ll also be late!!!

This is the end of my Cat Returns crossover, I promise!

While drawing, I had an especially hard time getting Nanoka to look like ‘Nanoka’ in my mind - the ears forced me to tweak her haircut arrangement, so maybe that was it? ^^;;

For Mao Week Day 4, it’s Hyakka! I accidentally drew him in the same position as his headshot nnOOOO

When he first appeared I wasn’t very fond of him, but after rereading the available chapters he grew on me ^^;;

We know he’s younger than Mao, but I feel like he’s a year or two younger than Nanoka even (maybe 12-13?), so it makes me sad to think he lost an eye at such an age ;;.;;

Hello dear friends!

We are here with a great announcement and that is Mao first anniversary!

You know that we want to celebrate this wonderful Manga and that’s why we will do the second Mao Week starting this May 4th until  May 10th. The rules are the same that the last time. We will publish different prompts one for day.

And because of this first anniversary we also want to make a contest. In the image you can see the rules of the contest. If you have any question we are here to answer you.

We hope you want to participate in it, specially with the prize that is a fan art that will be draw by the amazing and so talented @artistefish​.

Remember the most important is have fun and create more Mao’s fan content.
