Everyone Happy New Year !

It's already New year.I’m still around the Living.Pondering,writing and sketching.

In the current MAO arc there’s not much actions from Nanoka chan.

However Mao team gets a bit deeper into how many secrets Hakubi had back,during the time in the Gokou clan.Not only that,the Ominous Curse Tool ”Box of Transformation” prowls around.

Wow,Mao’s expression is of the Clever man getting the news.”Let’s run Nanoka”.In fact this Box has now violated a Girls boarding School,causing Horrors(:

Hyakka for the character bingo?

Hyakka, my special guy!!!

I say this a lot, but of all the characters in Mao, Hyakka is the one who surprised me the most!! When he was first introduced I was sure I'd dislike him as some haughty brat who'd always be picking fights with Mao, or something like that.

But I was wrong!! While he's certainly has a bit of hotheadedness to him, Hyakka is smart, rational, and all round a really nice kid!! I love how skilled and honestly badass he is in a fight as well. It's always great when a character can back up their bark with bite.

One underappreciated aspect to his character that I really love is how busy he keeps himself. Unlike the other immortal characters who stuck close to their onmyouji craft for better or worse, Hyakka has taken on many different jobs over the centuries - circus performer, farmer, and an udon chef as of late!

I really feel like Hyakka has been living this whole time, while his peers were simply existing - even Mao (at least until Nanaoka arrived.)

That's much more commendable to me than any flashy spell.

(I loved his plotline with Hazuki also. Bring back Hazuki Takahashi, I need to see Hyakka acting like a big brother to her!!!)
