Y’know what? I really empathise with Rashta. She was a literal slave who saw an out of a hopeless situation and ran with it. People who don’t like her for being a home wrecker honestly have no morality. SHE WAS A SLAVE. FOR A CRIME SHE DIDNT COMMIT AS WELL. IT WAS HER DAMN DAD. And every single person in her life was using her, she really had no one to rely on.

I know quite a few people share this opinion, and then some of turn around and hate on Navier for not abolishing slavery. Like? That’s so stupid.

She was a childless empress who had been on the throne for three years. What time frame are you giving her to abolish slavery? It’s just not going to happen because she needs to secure her position with a child while also managing government affairs and creating allies.

It wasn’t like she was hateful towards Rashta either, she understood to a certain extent of her position and always tried to help.

People always blame Rashta and Navier for each other’s positions when neither were at fault.

And if I remember correctly, Navier abolished slavery later on in the novel. (Idk if that’s true, I read a machine translated version in like 2021, I could be misremembering). And I’m fairly certain it happen.

If you want someone to blame I nominate Sovieshu, the actual emperor and person with most power. Who, despite having a loving, powerful wife chose to bring an uneducated slave as a concubine because he was insecure.

Rashta did what she had to do to survive, and I’ll never blame her for that. Navier also had every right to be upset with her cheating husband, idc if it was a norm back then.

as much as i love Dohwa, it would be weird if he actually ends up with Sooae in the end.

his love for Sooae has been purely one sided, so it wouldn’t feel genuine if she suddenly starts to like him after things don’t work out with Eunhyuk—because he randomly turned out to be a bad guy??

perhaps if Eunhyuk showed signs of being a jerk in the very beginning through foreshadowing, then a relationship switch wouldn’t be surprising. but up until now, Eunhyuk and Sooae seemed like the perfect pairing.

Korean Manwha has such a issue with same face/body syndrome when it comes to women it aint funny anymore 😭

Wait, okay. It's still about The Cursing of Château Castle but something I realized is that Pierre-Jacques-Erneste isn't referred to with a title. Joséphandre was always referred to as Lord before the whole reveal at the end where he wasn't even a prince or someone with a high status, he was Just a Guy so both the npc and Mira dropped the title. Another character that's been named in the series has a title, Lady Irene-Janine-Karine and was said to be a good character.

Pierre-Jacques-Erneste destroyed his castle as a self-sacrifice to save Joséphandre in Issue #68 so that means he has a castle, but isn't even referred to with the title of Lord even during his first appearance in Issue #10. So my theory is that Pierre-Jacques-Erneste is the unwanted illegitimate child of his family and was never treated as nobility so his initial goal in joining Joséphandre is to gain that status of nobility he was robbed from and to bask in the fame of someone hailed as a hero that was largely known by the people as one with a high status.

But because of the journey, he came to question his very goals so in the end, when faced with the choice of choosing between his castle and his friend, Pierre-Jacques-Erneste chose his friend over a castle that didn't and won't acknowledge him as being a part of it. He had to fight tooth and nail just to gain his place in a castle that only saw him as a "trash," and yet he was welcomed in Joséphandre's party and even found a better place to belong to in it.

Yeah,it's gotten bad. So,it turns out ahhh,we are supporting the wrong side. We can hate rashtas actions but not her reasons because whoo boy,it's a lot. Navier becames unlikeable in season 2 and 3. Heinry,is a piece of crud,ergi is a toxic manipulative piece of crap,Kaufman is creepy same with sovieshu who is a whole ass idiotic and an idiot. It turns out : Heinly killing Duke Zimensia by torturing the man himself, without giving the duke any trial. Later massacred the whole dukedom including innocent people. And as usual he didn't face any consequences for it.

Lotteshu iterally lied to make Rashta look guilty. Besides I've better things to do, like what to do with this promissory note? In the past, Rashta gave it to Baron Lante to use it under her name. That backfired during her trial. It was such an unnecessary move from the charity board. The author had to make sure Rashta got slam dunked by every angle. Navier couldn't come forward with the allegation because of Kosair's attempted poisoning to Rashta's child and she covered for her baby killer brother. So author found a way to make Rashta's crime come to light through the director of the charity board. It's all fine and dandy when people who support MC, attempt to murder unborn children but it's bad when Rashta gave the money to charity under her name. She needed to be publicly shamed for it too, where kosair's sin never came to light. No wonder he got along well with the psycho named Heinley. Birds of same feathers flock together.

Also,if you're very supported Alan,please don't because Alan is disgusting and a slaver like his father. It turns out he's the one who literally entrapped rashta in this so called student x teacher marriage and the fact he was sympathize by a lot of those toxic happy readers because he's a good man. He is not a good man,he is a disgusting grapist. Turns out having sexual intercourse with a slave is basically grape(r*PE censored word). Also,if you wanna say rahsta is in the wrong,yeah she is but she's basically done those to survive. Not to mention,it's clearly normal for royal people to take in concubines,what sovieshu did wrong is always treating rashta like a child because he can't handle communication. Not to self,rashta is literally younger so take that as a word. Also,please note the claims she abandoned her child are wrong,she didn't know her son was still alive and she gave birth to him when she was very very young. Too young like maybe 13 or 18 at the time.

Villainesses who aren’t actually villainesses are something I genuinely despise. They are a white lotus at best. I want a pure evil woman who, idk, murders her cheating ex or something. No remorse. And having her soften for some cold Duke of the North ml is also something I despise. Marriage is NOT softening that woman. Only if done correctly will I accept it.

The fl from ‘The villainess lives again’ is an exception because it utilises the fl’s guilt for her past crimes yet she loses none of her cunningness. She’s smart, doesn’t hesitate to use and cut off loose ends. I remember tons of people hating it because she was ‘too evil’ back in 2022 or something. Like? She’s a villainess? She’s going to do bad things. And I understand not liking the political part, that bit is quite heavy. But not liking it for a well characterised fl? Atp just read any other manwha with ‘villainess’ in the title, most of them aren’t anyway.

I fear that most manwha creators that use the villainess trope are trying to emulate ‘The way to protect the female lead’s older brother’ which was one of the best manwha’s of its year. Except when other creators try, they forget what they’re doing in like two chapters and mischaracterise their own fl.

Just stop calling them a villainess, actually. They are a tragic woman who needs to be saved at every occasion but will insist they don’t because the author wants to remind everyone that they’re ‘badass’. Like if you need to tell people that, then your character isn’t badass. Use their actions to demonstrate it.

“But they have trauma!” And that’s a perfectly acceptable reason for them to act the way they do. But that character still isn’t a villainess. They aren’t hateful, just constantly saying that they are without any resolve.

If there is a gradual build up to them becoming a villainess instead of it happening in the early chapters, I can accept that. But don’t lead up to it only for the fl to do actually nothing.

Most of the Korean manwha I’ve read over the years all have titles like, “I’ve Done One Too Many Misdeeds, and Now I’m the Top Ranker,” “Ever-present Administrator,” or “Slippy Kim” and they’re all equally masterpieces that would drastically change the course of your life if you’d ever read them.

Adding to this because it's getting out of hand.

Endo has worked tirelessly to provide not only a manga but an anime that we all LOVE! However, with every piece of work in the history of the world, there are always going to be things that some readers may not love.

If you don't like how the story is progressing atm, find another manga, read a webtoon, or write a fanfic! Don't go spreading hate online, and especially don't direct it at the manwha, who I imagine is stressed enough as is rn having to not only work on season two of the anime, but also the movie and ensuring he's releasing chapters of the manga consistently.

Please stop trying to spread hate to the man who created the very thing y'all love so much. It's unfair.

I know we all miss and want to see a Twiyor interaction again since the last time we had one was like 7 months ago. I understand the disappointment from some readers and getting impatient every time there's no interaction from them every new chapter release, but the complains every chapter released are starting to get annoying, really. Some of them even call Endo names for not giving what they want (mostly disguised as "joke") and it's getting on my nerves!

Why don't you let the man work at his own pace, I'm sure he has something for them, he's brewing something for them. Just wait patiently and enjoy the content he's giving us. It's all relevant for the plot!
