Rishi is a local sweet factory owner who is very kindhearted and fun loving. He is passionate about his chocolates and is a devoted father to Nikhil, Jai and Priya. He was married to the mother of his children, Georgia Sharma. Later on he developed feelings for local doctor Manpreet Jutla and they began a relationship. Her shopping habit eventually led Rishi into deep financial depths as he took a deal with local business tycoon Kim Tate to cover Manpreet's. A fire started by Amy and Kerry Wyatt destroyed the sweet factory which employed many villagers leaving the Sharmas no choice but to sell up to Kim Tate. The fire also kills local resident Frank Clayton. Manpreet and Rishi's marriage comes to an end when the local vicar Charles recognizes Manpreet as his ex-fiancée Saira. She had been dating him years ago under a fake name. Rishi is a family man who's always had his loved ones' best interests at heart. He has five grandchildren: Amba, Molly, Mia, Archie, and Eliza. Rishi fell at home in 2023 and died on his son Jai's wedding day. Jai and Rishi parted for the final time in anger since Jai had a hard time accepting the surprise revelation that Rishi wasn't his biological father.

Its Emmerdale time!

1) I really do feel bad for Nicola! I felt that way when Graham first let on that he knew she was scamming him, but it's so much worse now that the truth is out there. But thank god for Robert being there with a pep talk when needed! I especially liked how he made sure she knew that he will won't turn his back on her because it wasn't her fault.

2) I feel kind of out of the loop when it comes to spoilers, so are these scenes with Jai acting suspicious of Manpreet leading to her revealing she is in debt? Could be she is a shopacholic? Maybe that she is a gold digger? Or just one big misunderstanding? I kind of want to know, but at the same time I like guessing where this is leading. And if it means more scenes between Jai and Manpreet, I'm down!

3) I so relate to Liv and makeup tutorials! I always think "I want to try something different" and then I fail massively and just go back to my normal routine. Btw, where are the scenes that show Liv starting to think she may "really like" Jacob? It felt like that might have been where Liv and Gabby's discussion on Friday was going, but I feel like it would have been difficult to figure that out if I hadn't read some of the articles.

I did like their chat and how Jacob was insistent that Liv kept talking about how she was feeling. It shows that he wants to help her and that he does really care about what she is thinking about. But in all honesty, if ED does not have Liv outright say she is asexual, than the GA wouldn't properly understand what she is going through.

4) Now that I have seen Aaron's overreaction, I didn't think it was that bad. Maybe it because I can understand where he is coming from. Jacob has not been on his best behavior lately and has hurt Liv recently, so I get that he is just looking out for her. Making sure that she does not get hurt again. Really, it can be chalked up to him being a protective older sibling. Because that's what I would do for my younger sibling.

5) On a side note, I am thinking that Maya's goal of separating Jacob from Liv has backfired. After what Aaron just did, there is no way that Liv is going to stay away from Jacob. They are probably going to spend more time together.

This was a pretty episode as well! There were several cute Robron moments and they talked about having more kids!
