Lunch Date with CHEERS and My Girls

I may not get to see my friends too often but we make sure to find time to be together and nothing changes ­– it’s still the old sweet girls that I met way back. Only a few days before our mini get-together that I asked them to spare lunch time for me. I didn’t have enough time to prepare but things went well with the help of CHEERS. It made that day hassle-free!

Later on, I’d like to tell you more about my 3 girl friends. But for now, I’d like to introduce to you CHEERS. Let me share with you how I met these 3 girls who are too close to my heart. On the left most is Bianca Baranda. She’s my schoolmate in CSB but I met her in Pool Club years ago. I can’t even believe we’re, by chance, classmates right now in one subject. Beside her is Debbie Then. She’s from Magic 89.9 and is also an influencer. We just used to follow each other on Instagram and see each other at events. Then, we just clicked! Lastly, meet Trish Terrado. I met her in Hydro, a music festival. She was heartbroken back then and I’m really soft with things like that ­– maybe also the reason why we got along so easily! Lol. It may not look obvious on their figure but all of them love to eat as much as I do. That’s why I’m happy I found CHEERS to take with us when we eat out. Yeah, these girls are going to kill me without tissue. Sometimes, I really feel like a girl scout.

Filed under ‘answers to the question why I didn’t take the Foreign Service Officer (FSO) exams myself’. 😆 . When I was a journalist covering the Department of Foreign Affairs, I would often get told by senior diplomats that I should give the FSOE a go. Even our foreign minister at that time told me the same thing after I cornered him for a quick interview. It’s a great career and I did mull it over. But in the end, I know I love journalism more. In my 20s, I was also way too impatient, way too opinionated, and I can’t help but call out things I don’t agree with or when things are unfair. So it really is much better for our country that my mouthy self didn’t do it. . But life does love to make funny jokes on people and I ended up marrying one. In the last six years, while we were posted abroad, I had to learn to let things go, be less mouthy, be a bit more patient, and to express my disagreement without being disagreeable. It could be my husband’s traits rubbing off on me but I can always say I just matured as I neared my 30s. 😛 . I Wear Mossimo

It’s that time of the year again. Shopping for new sets of clothes is a need for the summer season! It’s time to hunt for some stylish ones that will give you extra confidence as you walk by. We all know good clothes can put magic with the way you carry yourself. Mossimo just released their Summer Collection and I was blown away!

Seeing denims and light colored clothes in Mossimo can be normal but finding very girly clothes in their store is a different story.
