Manami Okuda's Character & Personality

Manami is a student at Kunugigaoka Junior High. She used to be part of the Science Club. Thus, Manami's favorite subject is science while her least favorite was literature. Being gifted with intelligence in this subject, her skill increased after incorporating literature as she can decipher complex technical jargons and translate them. Now, Manami reads pharmaceutical encyclopedias and organic compound dictionaries instead of picture books. As an assassin, she isn't good with surprise attacks. Manami only excels in chemistry and mathematics, which landed her in Class 3-E with low grades. However, she's quite capable of making the most deadliest poisons for assassinations. Manami can also make potions for various situations, like a homemade smoke screen. This makes some students associate her with being a witch. Manami's favorite food is Honeycomb Toffee. She's quite an introverted girl who's somewhat shy. Manami has poor language skills, which causes her to be quite straightforward. Despite this, she's sweet and quite determined. Manami hopes to be useful to her friends and classmates. Eventually, she becomes a much more sensible individual who can express herself more.

Heyy! So I love your previous writing about Kuroo! And if it’s not too much, I would like to request another one for assassination classroom Karma. Maybe Karma x shy fem reader (angst to fluff), where reader have a crush on Karma ever since he saved her from the bullies before they entered E class. Then, during the school trip, she overheard Karma saying he likes Okuda, so she started to avoid him?

The summer before school started, it should've been fun. But instead you were being bombarded with hateful words and teased for your meek voice. Some boys decided it'd be fun to make the shy new girl uncomfortable at the beach, pushing you around and making disgusting comments about your virginity.

"Bet you're tight."

"You're meek voice will turn loud when I'm done with you."

"Stupid bitch can't even reply."

"Is she shaking?!"

"She will be then were done."

One boy pushed you to the ground, his friends pulling out his phone as held your head down with a tight grasp around your neck. You continued to wriggle underneath him, hoping that someone will step in and stop them. But no one could be seen for miles.

"Off." A male voice commented darkly, all of the boys putting there phones away and beginning to back away.

Soon the boy on top of you was dragged to his feet by his collar being pulled back, making you see your savior. He was a lanky red haired boy with golden eyes, his features were sharp and a slight tint of danger glossed his porcelain skin. He was pretty, but he seemed to only want trouble.

"Scram before I beat all of your faces in then tie each one of you up and slowly blister your skin with a single match and watch your tears run dry." The boy warned, making the crowd of assholes run away like the cowards they truly were.

Before you could thank the Cherry boy, he walked off as if it wasn't that important. What a strange guy... You thought.

A strange but handsome guy.

"Wait! What's your name?" You scrambled to your feet, watching as he stood frozen in his spot and slowly turned his head towards you.

"Karma Akabane." He answered, walking off to the other other street before you could ask anymore questions.

"Class E, class E, class E." You repeated, rushing down the unfamiliar hallways in order to find your class.

"It's right behind you." A voice you haven't heard from in months commented, the same voice that stuck with you for the rest of summer.

It was the man named Karma Akabane, the person you hoped to run into again but ever did until now. Throughout summer you've heard his name being tossed around, everyone seemed to know him yet he never seemed to be around. Top busy building up weapons and ammo to take down Koro-Sensei.

"Karma?" Yoo asked in a hushed tone, noticing his golden orbs becoming much more playful when you called his name.

"Yes y/n?" He questioned back, leaning in a teasing manner because "You had a quiet voice".

"Wait, how do you know my name..." You gasped, remembering that you never told him mine.

"Word goes around y/n, and so does the clock above you... You have 30 seconds til class starts." Karma laughed, opening the door for me as you rushed towards and empty seat.

You took a seat next to a girl with black hair and adorable round glasses, she read a random book with full intent on finishing her chapter. Only averting her gaze when she noticed your curious gaze peering at her book cover.

"It's a history book, it was free at the bookstore so I took it home." She whispered, immediately cutting herself off when Koro-Sensei walked through the doors.

The class wasn't like your old school, there was no actual learning involved... Just practicing on killing our teacher. You were never one for violence and you didn't even know how to use a gun, so when you get home you promised yourself to learn some combat tricks if that's what it takes to pass this class.

One person who knew combat almost too well was Karma, the pure confidence in his eyes intriguing you in a way you've never felt. He definitely has a hidden side under his charismatic chatter, and you wondered if you could ever find out what it was.

"Karma, your girl Okuda is staring at you." A male classmate teased, you followed their eyes to see them land on your deskmate.

You should've guessed he was taken, he was quite the eye candy. It still stings to find out someone who you find attractive is taken, no matter how long you've known each other.

"Just because I like her-"

The bell rang as his lips continued to move, hushed by the blasting ring.You reached the doorframe when he rushed over towards you, a playful smirk beaming on his lips.

"Want to grab lunch with me newbie?" Karma asked, clearly expecting your acceptance.

"M-Maybe another time." You stuttered out, disappearing in the crowd of students.

You may be shy, but Karma noticed that your shyness was leaning onto nervous. You were fine before class started, what happened?

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, now it was leaning onto summer break and Karma has never been able to talk to you since you left him by the doorframe. Karma found you adorable and felt his heart melt whenever he saw you laugh with your friends, why couldn't you spend more than a few seconds with him? He wants to experience your laughter more than anything.

"Why are you staring at y/n?" Okuda asked, munching on her sandwich as she awaited his answer innocently.

"Because I like her." Karma replied bluntly, not understanding what went wrong.

"Oh....." Okuda whispered, immediately catching Karma's attention. She knew something!

"What do you mean oh?" Karma questioned, wondering what Okuda either knows or said to effect your relationship with him.

"... Well. Uhm... So everyone thinks we're an item. And your friends and my friends have been telling everyone that we'll eventually be a couple." Okuda explained, pointing towards the table of smirking classmates who peered towards both of them.

"They aren't my friends, they are yours. I don't need friends..." Karma huffed, glaring back at the eyes which followed him constantly.

"Do they disappoint you?" Okuda piped, not missing the perfect opportunity.

Karma laughed fakely at her aged vine reference, he knew she was just tying to brighten the mood. But he wasn't in the right mindset to focus on anything but the frustration he felt, it was all because of Okuda's stupid friends. They just had to force their thoughts on everything him and Okuda do, even though they honestly don't see each other in a romantic light at all.

And you're so shy and insecure that you'd worry about even smiling at Karma, worrying people would see you as a home wrecker. Okuda's friends tarnished his chances with you, and he wasn't too fond of this... So he needed to get revenge.

"Tell me names." Karma ordered, glaring at the crowd that continued to shove their noses into business that wasn't theirs.

"The two new guys, Haru and Aone." Okuda replied quietly, even pointing her fingers to the childish idiots that messed with the wrong student.

Karma immediately stood up from his seat, marching towards the chattering table. He pointed at the two smirking boys, gesturing for them to talk with him outside... But there wasn't going to be much talking if it goes Karma's way.

"Stop! You could kill us!" One of the boys screeched, high above the ground as they were tied and pulled to the top of a flag pole.

"That's the point idiot!" Karma screamed, tugging both of them up higher as the rest of the students watched in shock.

Some attempted to pull Karma away but failed to do so, while other stood still in fear. Everyone acted as if Karma was unstoppable and couldn't even be looked at. You weren't going to watch two students die because one cute guy is crazy and the rest of the school is a bunch of cowards.

"Karma put them down!" You screamed, tugging at the rope yourself and beginning to lower the two boys.

"Why?! All they've done is ruin my chances with you! And played me for a fool!" Karma argued, sounding crazy and overwhelmed with so many different emotions.

"What are talking about Karma...." You huffed, successfully taking the reigns of his plan and getting two boys back to safety.

"They completely ruined any chance I had with you by making it seem like I was dating Okuda, and when I tried to talk to you... You didn't even give me a response. How was I suppose to reason stuff out if you ever talked to me?" Karma explained, not even caring that the whole school now knows he's crazily in love with you.

Karma was clearly broken, had baggage, and didn't know how to show his feelings like a normal person. But you were very patient, and thought everyone deserves a chance at a good life... Maybe you could help wound his broken reality.

You also felt a bit guilty for completely leaving him in the dark, not even greeting him because of your worried thoughts. You could've found out he was single months ago if you just had one more conversation with him after the bell rang... But you chickened out and left him confused.

"I now completely demolished my image infront of you, I know everyone thinks I'm crazy and broke... So I'm not surprised if you ignore me after this." Karma ranted on, beginning to back away as he prepared to make a dash back into the school.

Before the Cherry boy could disappear, you grabbed a hold of his wrist. Stopping him, and lightly raising his hopes in a way you didn't even notice.

"I'd be willing to give you another chance Karma, as long as we can forget the mess we've made of these few months." You whispered, smiling softly towards the glowing pretty boy.

Karma was crazy and you were closed off, the two traits that wouldn't usually click well did. And even if his hidden side seemed toxic, you saw a positive outcome for it. He wasn't just crazy, he was crazy for you and only you.

"Can I still beat those guys-"

"No." You interrupted, laughing as he pulled into a warm hug.

Your laughing only continued to bubble as Karma shushed the whimpers and cries of the men tied up behind you, Akabane was someone you never thought you'd get along well or even grow fond of. But maybe your just turning a bit crazy yourself.
