and like, i’m assuming that this is jakurai being very aware that kuukou is a monk, but i have been begging for a philosophical chat between sensei and kuukou since light & shadow dropped, i’m going to take this as confirmation that it did happen lol

#this is vee speaking #the arb chronicles #it doesn’t have to be nothing long winded #just a line or two exchanged between them where they’re both like ‘oh this guy’s pretty interesting respect lol’#but there’s like three lines sensei has said that’s making me a little worried for him (more than i usually am lol)#1) he’s worried about whoever is in his body being unaware of how powerful he actually is and could harm someone #2) this line #and 3) being in the temple is causing him to stiffen up #like??? idk how to read that line as anything other than sensei feeling pretty restless that he’s in a temple #he even has several lines expressing his desire to just move about and i wonder if that’s being inside a monk on holy grounds causing this??#it’s something i kinda do wish was explored jakurai the man everyone likens to being saintly with buddha like patience #next to kuukou an actual monk and a damn good one despite his feral personality lol #it may be a little unfair but it is still telling that when presented proof of ramuda’s suffering #it took a long time for jakurai to get to the point where he could set aside his anger #whereas kuukou listened to ramuda’s apology and immediately forgave him because he could see it had been eating him up #man i wish jakurai and kuukou could be explored as a leader duo lmao
