anyways, if you’d like to sleep next to him, he usually lifts his arms so that you can nuzzle into his side as he lies on his back

if you’re too scared to be near him though, he might just hold your hand as you both fall asleep next to each other

Turo was already withdrawn as is, with his work in Area Zero keeping him in isolation. But you kept him company through everything, from his wife leaving him to the present, eventually becoming his new lover. So you were allowed to stay by his side.

Yet ever since the incident with the two Miraidons, his anxiety has worsened since he fears the aggressive Iron Serpent will hurt you next.

So he buries himself further into his work, trying to find ways to contain it and/or change its nature.

At the same time, he's become a bit more clingy with you, afraid to be alone or leave you alone with them. And usually you can coax him away from his work if he's growing frustrated with a lack of progress.

But nightmares of those Paradox Pokémon attacking him (and sometimes you) keep him up at night, or startle him awake whenever he tried taking a nap at your insistence.

Your solution was to simply cuddle with him, taking a break from your work as well.

Anytime he starts to stress about the project or the aggressive Miraidon while in your arms, you just run a hand through his hair or rub his back, reassuring him it’ll all be okay. Eventually he'll stop ranting and doze off.

This man is very weary, so he’d prefer to be held most of the time. You'll have to be the one to drag him away from all his research though so expect minor protests.

He lowkey forgot how comforting it is to be hugged by another person. Another human being who’s the only reason he hasn’t gone completely insane.

a couple of persona 4 headcanons

Just a list of my Persona 4/affiliated media headcanons (I really hope this doesn’t get buried lmfao…also before you ask no I don’t normally post persona I kinda got hooked through the Honkai SR fandom. What can I say, Yu’s very relatable about not wanting to upset and needing to protect the cute kid calling you “big bro”)

I have no idea what’s going on with the whole “Teddie lives with Yosuke” thing because I have literally searched up everything (don’t ask about my youtube watch history please) and here’s my take on it: Yosuke basically came home with a Teddie in tow, presented him as a guy with nowhere to go who was willing to work for his keep, stuffed him in his closet because the “spare bedroom” is his dad’s home office or something, and at some point the Hanamuras just accepted they have two sons now because how can you not like sweet, innocent, naive-but helpful Teddie? Also Yosuke played Teddie’s disappearance off as him being at Yu’s or something. I have no idea how that man pulled this off but it worked. (yes I”m a sucker for hanabros)

I still can’t decide which i prefer: Yu x Yosuke or Yu x Rise (I do like the idea that RIse grabbed Yu, flung him over her shoulder, and marched off into the sunset, though like…have you seen the Persona 4 partner dances???)

I’m actually kinda surprised Yu just goes back to wherever he came from for his third year, like just stay in Inaba for your last year of highschool? You already stayed a whole year. And he canonically has parents who are away a lot on business. But to make sense of this, I propose: He goes back only because the school he’s going to gives him a leg up into the uni he wants to go to (which is understandable. Inaba is a tiny rural town in the middle of nowhere, he’ll probably get some better connections in a city school or something). He definitely comes back on every holidays possible, and messages his friends so often that his new friends at his other school are just like “bro….please at least wear the right uniform….”

RIse’s idol group starts flinging around wild theories on what she did during her year-long break. It ranges from everything from hooking up with three different guys (they spied on her while she was doing a video call with the others (FaceTime apparently existed in 2012, which I kinda forgot about. I think the flip phones kinda just threw me off.)

Yukiko and Chie definitely get together. Have you seen those two? They’re definitely roommates, at the last.

At some point someone asks about Teddie’s bear costume, and Yosuke covers up by saying Kanji made some alterations to it. Kanji does not approve, and Yosuke is seen later running through Inaba with an angry Kanji on his heels.

Also that new outfit Teddie wears in the epilogue of Golden? That’s just Yosuke’s old stuff - Teddie still wears the first human clothes he ever got for fancy occasions, but between Yosuke and Chie they manage to talk him into regular stuff. 

And they definitely have a running joke where they introduce Teddie as an exchange student from France (with that bright blond hair and Ouran Host Club-esque style choices, it was bound to happen) whenever they meet someone new. Yosuke knows Teddie will play along anyways, but buys him sweet treats as a bribe anyways. They usually drop the act pretty quite, but it’s really funny for the Hanabros. Especially if Teddie is crossdressing, because that man totally kept his Alice outfit. 

Kanji, unfortunately for Yosuke, uses Teddie as a model whenever he decides to get creative. Yosuke is considering getting a second closet because Teddie shares most of Yosuke’s old stuff. Like clothes (Yosuke is the only one who has stuff in Teddie’s size, and Teddie’s growing a bit anyways), In the winter, Teddie regularly shows up to places wearing Yosuke’s sweaters and jackets, and Yosuke is just thankful that Kanji makes Teddie stuff like that in Yosuke’s size so both of them can wear it. 

TImeskip: Nanako moves to the city with Yu for highschool, so she can attend a more liberal-arts focussed school. Yu doesn’t mind (he’s like, 26 at this point, and probably works some kind of office job (he likes a bit of quiet in his life, after the chaos called his teenage years and having famous idol Rise Kujikawa as a mate) (and also he gets free Nanako time) and Dojima, finally taking more breaks from work, sometimes drops in to say hi and maybe buy dinner.

Yu also gets to shovel talk Nanko’s first boyfriend. Nanko has to spend half an hour reassuring him that Yu is actually in fact a really nice guy….and then turns around to see Yosuke and Rise waiting for their turn to shoveltalk. And while Yu is scary, having your girlfriend’s older brother’s brofriend and Risette staring you down was not a good follow up. Nanako is rightfully mortified, Yu does in fact bake apology cookies, and Yosuke and Risette manage to drag the couple into an impromptu dance session to ease the tension just a little after nearly scaring the poor kid half to death. (The poor kid is someone in the Phantom Theives, because I saw a really cool AU on AO3 and it lives rent-free in my head. And I like the idea of Nanako becoming a Phantom Thief because “it runs in the family, thanks a lot Yu >:l “

Naoto ends up taking Aketchi under her wing. Does she mind? I mean, to her he’s not entirely horrible. Is she pleased with his actions? …that’s debatable

Inaba becomes known for having great weather. Except for the one time Marie catches a bug going around the town, that ends up behind a horrible mid-January snowstorm. .

Those are the ones I have right now. I’m still working my way through everything (HSR is taking over my brain, I love the Astral Express crew dynamic-)

(also I'm really disappointed we didn't get human Teddie dancing with the others. I need that boost of serotine of watching Yosuke and human Teddie try to dance together.)

Case: Mulder's old partner (work, not sexual, although ig it's never specified that it WASN'T sexual) comes to Mulder and Scully for help on a murder case. A man has been murdered in a software company via electrocution, and the main suspect is this Elon Musk-y/Steve Jobs hybrid guy, if Elon Musk was actually smart and either him or Steve Jobs had a moral compass. At first it seems pretty cut and dry, but like most things in the X-Files, not everything is as it seems, dun dun. Mulder gets his work stolen, the guy that stole it gets karma'd in the asshole, Scully almost gets ripped to shreds by a rly big fan, and a computer is betrayed by a guy named Brad.

Does someone die in the cold open: Yes. It's very shocking.

Does Mulder present a slideshow: No

Does the evidence survive the investigation: In a surprising twist, Mulder is the one to destroy the evidence this episode. On purpose!

Whodunit: AI. We should have put a stop to this shit back in 1993 smh.

Convictions: Brad, the computer's maker and lover, is awaiting trial for a crime he falsely confessed to, and Mulder destroyed any evidence that would let him walk. Whups. They were in on it together, tho, so it's chill.

Did they solve it: Debated a bit on this one, but going with—yes, but Mulder destroyed the evidence, and also how do you prosecute a computer? Close but no cigar, guys.

like, I've always seen people talk about Drift putting up with all of Rodimus's bs just because he admires him, and I'm not gonna deny that he does, he definitely thinks Rodimus is a pretty cool guy, but so much more than that, his vision told him that Rodimus was going to find the Knights of Cybertron and that they were going to restore the planet and make things better than they've ever been. More than ANYTHING, Drift has done everything he has done not because he admires Rodimus too much to say no to him, but because he truly believes Rodimus is integral to the restoration of Cybertron. He believes that succeeding in this quest will make it so that no one on Cybertron will ever have to go through anything he's gone through ever again. That's what it's always been about for him, even from the beginning, even for Deadlock. exhausted wolf anon here 🐺🪚 i decided on giant whip spider for the creature my sona is, since they live in caves and it would make more sense to find him in the dungeon.

His mom is a half-foot named Danlok! She was obsessed with magic (haven't read the manga yet but she's into forbidden magic, forgot the name- I'm writing this down for the first time in this ask lol I'll do some research after) andddd got chased out of her half-foot village when they found out what she was doing!! Her husband (Ferfil ig? Fer is his first name 1000%, idk what the last name or family name is yet, just spit balling rn) helped her move into a secluded area, where they had their first kiddo! His full name is Sigvik Ferz, he grew up to be about 4 years old? Before contracting a fatal illness that they couldn't find a way to cure, despite his mother's magical prowess. He passed away after 7 months of his parents trying to stabilize him. So, she left his body exactly where it was, and worked tirelessly to keep his soul contained so she could bring him back to life. She became obsessed with this goal, to an unhealthy degree, submerging herself completely into her work and avoiding anything that would distract her. Her husband was (understandably) concerned, but tried to take care of her the best that he could while she was in this state, making sure she had food and water at least. One thing led to the next, and she managed to bring Sigvik back after she disappeared with his body for a full week. But something was very wrong visually- he was double the height, with a black dusty carapace on his entire body, 6 spiked arms, and two large whip-like appendages protruding from his back. The only recognizable part of him was his face, a slight difference being his eyes were a little bigger, and almost entirely taken up by his pupils, only a sliver of the scleras visible when he looked head on. But, he was back, just a little more reserved and light-sensitive than before. His father was a little off-put at first, but once he realized that this man was in fact his son, his parents both raised him like a normal half-foot child! (holy fuck I'm writing so much I apologize for this lmfao 😿😿)

He aged like normal, until he reached maturity- and seemed to stop completely. Neither of his parents noticed until around 5 years passed? and he had no significant changes in his appearance. Which was, maybe concerning?? His mom didn't know why it was happening. His dad tried to get an answer out of her but she couldn't figure it out even if she wanted to. Still, they took care of him, hoping

A few years after this, Sigvik came home after a little walk at night and his parents were both gone. He looked everywhere for them, in their little hide-out, but found nothing. Everything was in its place, exactly how it was before he left. So, he waited for them to return. Then waited a little more. Then waited even longer. He didn't know how long they would be gone, but they would always come back home before, so he didn't think this would be much different. After the first full day they hadn't returned, he decided he would go looking for them. He got lost in the woods outside of his home, found and promptly chased away by a group of weird tall people (hasnt met anyone other than his parents), getting even more lost. He found his way into a sea-side city at night, explored a boat, got trapped inside of a crate or something of that effect, anddd ended up on the island!! crawled into the dungeon and has been living there since :3

until maybe Laios' or Kabru's party stumbles on him in the deeper levels of the dungeon. He finds half-foots more familiar and approachable than the other races (he would be very scared of Laios when they first meet- large loud man + recluse bug boy with very sensitive ears = instant disaster) and also Kabru and Marcille would be the second scariest people he meets tbh, but Kabru could probably figure out a way to make himself seem non-threatening. I see Sigvik following Kabru's party around if they meet him before Laios' party- or he finds Chilchuck secluded from the rest of the folks and they talk while he's hidden from view since they both are half-foots and have good ears. Then he steps out and scares the fucking life out of Chil because what the fuck is that thing. But then he talks and realizes 'oh this guy is the half-foot I've been talking to for the past 20 minutes in my native tongue. huh.' and yeah ..

Fun facts about Sigvik Ferz!!

His favorite food is sweet-bread, his favorite color is ivory, and his favorite animal is a sheep...

Chilchuck reminds him of his dad so he sticks close to him if he joins Laios' party!

And I can see chilchuck actually vouching for him, but in Chil's eyes, Sigvik is a victim of black magic and he. may kinda rub that in Marcille's face a bit. Chil would probably want to invite him in the party bc he's like "well we're trying to find a cure for izutsumi anyways" (Personally I think Chil would want to give him money to return to the surface but then hes like wait. this guy cant live on the surface he'll be killed, captured or worse). He sticks up for other half foots lol. BUT YEAH.

He would definitely push Sigvik around. dean, meet peter hale: we know that dean loves a good looking father figure ;) and peter is so manipulative and creepy – he'd absolutely sniff out the J/D going on (incestuous family meet incestuous family) and use it to piss dean off during fights. i imagine this as an endless chase; peter is so good at getting away and dean is so upset with himself that he keeps losing him and getting toyed with in the process. can you imagine peter's flirting? also, with all the peter + lydia stuff happening, this would add another layer on top of it, when you have sam's friendship with lydia.

lots to say about the little dream sequence that we see at the beginning of the bear. i think giving it one thing to represent is hard, but maybe it's about the grief. bear being carmy's nickname and the bear being the name of the restaurant they wanted to open? idk . just kinda feels like carmy is constantly trying to keep it in a cage, even if he knows it needs to be let out somehow.

love the loud frantic nature of this first episode. love that they throw you right into everything.

i also LOVE how much of a problem solver this episode shows us that carmy is. the fact that he has to get cheaper beef because of the financial situation, not only figures out how the fuck to get more, but he also figures out the exact timing of how he needs to prepare this different cut to make sure everything is ready? idk i love him
