#mama i'm in love with a faaascist#😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨#one day i'll write a lucy lives story to explore how the average person falls for fascist propaganda#i know that with her it's not just politics and it's personal abuse#but still#anyway the other point is that it's easy to fall for the mage's political propaganda if you don't know what you're looking for#propaganda can be subtle and masked as progressiveness even#then you look at the already undemocratic political system and the conflation of the few public offices and the political assassinations#to take power and the private militia and the raiding the houses of the opposition and even of the non opposition#and unpredictability is one of the characteristics of totalitarianism in the sense that the leader can do whatever they want#without control and without people being able to predict what's next#and the creation of an enemy and the reinfocement of a closed community of us vs them#and the policing of the language and the control of a school curricula#etc etc etc etc etc
