Diaval's thoughts
Just imagine.
"If only she knew how much i love her with all my being. Since she saved my life, since our eyes met , my heart stopped beating during a moment. There is this kind of fire took my heart, that never goes out. When i'm with her, i can't breathe anymore, i suffer, but i love everything about her, i would love her all my life, for eternity. She's everything for me, if i lost her, i would want to die with her and if i have to tear my heart out for her to live, i will, i swear. Yes, i'm ready to die for her, just for her, for Maleficent,for my love."

Hook with the daughter of Ariel or something like that. With them being in a secret little relationship but he’s always trying to come up to her and flirt with her. Maybe Uliana finds out and freaks out the rest is up to you
Secret | James Hook
Pairing: James Hook x fem!reader (Ariel's!sister!reader)
Summary: Once Uliana figures out your secret, everything comes crushing down.
Warning/s: angst, but with a happy ending, fluff, keeping secrets, fight, short fic, possible grammar and/or spelling mistakes
Author's note: It's here, hope you enjoy!! Also, I made the reader Ariel's sister because in my head, it fits the timeline.
Tumblr media
Honestly, nobody had any idea how it happened. You were Ariel's sister. He was a pirate. How in the world did you manage to end up together?!
Well... truth to be told... it happened so suddenly, just like when the storm in the middle of the sea happens. Nobody really expects it, but it arrives it crashes you with its whole might. Leaving you breathless.
It was a normal, sunny day when you met him. You were walking down the corridor, just trying to get to Merlin's class. Clutching your book in your hands, you found yourself outside as you came face to face with Hook. In the middle of the courtyard. All alone. His back was turned to you, and with that finding, you felt the sigh of relief leave your body pass your lips. It doesn't matter, you thought to yourself. So you decided to keep walking. You did not want to be late to class.
But it seems like the luck wasn't on your side that day. He turned around and walked up to you as he yelled out.
"Ahoy there, mermaid!" He smirked as your eyes met. "Skipping class again, I see. What's your excuse this time? Lost your voice singing to the fishes?"
James Hook, now leaning against a stone pillar, hook on his right hand and a mischievous glint in his eyes as his eyes scanned you.
"Hook, I unline you, am actually trying to now get there in time." You rolled your eyes at his teasing but decided that maybe it was time for you to finally tease him back a bit. "But don't worry, I've got a treasure map to Merlin's class. Care to actually join me?"
You saw a little tint of blush forming on his face, but you must have imagined it. And just as you thought that this would be the end of your conversation, he did something that left you stunned.
"Merlin's class? That's the real curse of Neverland. But I'd follow you anywhere, little mermaid." He gave you a wink, smirking.
You found yourself blushing, but no... it... it can't be. Luckily, you quickly regained your composure and continued your, playful, rivalry banter.
"You know, pirate, I've heard rumors about your hook. Is it true you lost it in a duel with a giant squid?" You leaned over closer to him.
"Aye, but it wasn't just any squid—it was the one that stole my heart." He smirked as he leaned down, closer to your face. "But now, here I am, a one-handed pirate with a penchant for trouble and a weakness for mermaid smiles."
You found yourself laughing at his flirting. You couldn't help it, it was just so... so endearing.
"Well, Captain, I've got a secret too." You said, with a little smirk planted on your face. "I've hidden my voice in a shell. Only the right kiss can unlock it. Interested?"
And so you did that for a while until you two were actually late for Merlin's class. You walked in, and Hook did not. But there was no way that you would admit to anyone, even your friends, why you walked into the class flushed, cheeks pink, with a stupid smile on your face.
You do, of course, realize that this was a bit abnormal. He was a pirate and part of Uliana's crew. You were a mermaid princess, daughter of the Triton himself. It was not normal, but as the days passed and what was a true rivalry, banter turned into just pure flirting, you found yourself not really caring.
As weeks passed and the flirting continued, somehow, you found yourself having a pirate boyfriend. After all of that, Hook and you started dating. Somehow.
And it was better than you ever expected it to be. You sometimes felt like, outside of Uliana's crew, you were the only one that he was nice to. It was... perplexing. But you loved it.
However, you both agreed that you should keep your relationship a secret for a while for both of your sakes. You weren't dumb. You both knew how your friends would react if you told them that you were dating. So that's how it all started. Secret stolen glances when nobody was looking, passing notes in class, stolen kisses when you were all alone, and, of course, flirty teasing banter.
That's how you found yourself, pressed against a tree in the school's courtyard, Hook with his hand by your head, his hook under your chin, trapping you.
"You're a siren in a landlocked school." He spoke, looking into your eyes. "Your voice could raise sunken ships, and your smile—well, that's my undoing."
"Tell me, Hook, do you ever dream of flying?" You asked as you started to trace your finger along his hook. "Not in a ship, but with wings made of stardust?"
He looked at you, captivated.
"Every night, my dear. And in my dreams, you're the compass guiding me through constellations." He leaned down towards you, your lips almost meating until something happened. Something that would change this forever.
"Hook!!" The terrifyingly hight and mighty voice rang out along the school courtyard.
You both turned around and froze as you came face to face with Uliana, Hades, Maleficent and a few more people that joined the courtyard when they heard yelling.
"But reality has a way of clipping my wings." Hook sighed as he moved away from you slowly, your heart speading up and breaking at the same time.
"Are you out of your mind?!" Uliana screamed. "What are you doing with a mermaid?!"
That's when you noticed something. Yes, Hook moved away from you, but his hand with his hook that was under your chin was now placed on your waist, still holding you close to him.
"Calm down, Uliana." Hook spoke up, looking at him.
"Calm down?!" Uliana yelled, absolutely fuming. "Are you seriously telling me to calm down right now?!"
"Yes." Hook said, "Yes, I am."
"Don't play games with me, Hook." She threatened before throwing a glance your way, smirking as she plotted against you. "If you don't stop doing whatever you're doing with this one, you will no longer be a part of my crew."
A moment of science was heard around the courtyard, and you know that it was over. He couldn't give up on his crew, and you most certainly did not want him to, so that means that your relationship has reached its inevitable end. Your heart was breaking as you looked on the ground, slowly moving away from Hook.
"You won't do that." He spoke up, his voice strong, ringing out. "We won't end our relationship." He turned to you and brought you closer to him once again, smiling at you before turning to Uliana with a determined look.
"You know that you need me whether you liked it or not. So, no, you won't throw me away from the rest of the crew. And even if you do, it doesn't matter. I still have her, and that is something that nothing will be able to change." He spoke as her face was formed into pure shock.
"So good day." He sarcastically bowed before he ruined around with you and walked away.
"Don't worry, she'll come around." You looked at him. "Maybe..."
"I honestly don't really care." He shrugged, his eyes ringing with truth. "I have you now, little mermaid, that's all I need and so much more, really."

A New Form of Psychological Torture Discovered.
Part 2 of the Reverse Isekai Disney Villains x Modern Reader AU
(Or RIDV AU for short)
Warning: Still a whole lot of swearing and OOC
"So... What would you like to know first?"
You asked with your hands clamped together, gathering the energy of minimum wage customer service workers just for this moment.
Those people have the highest patience, and you so badly need that right now.
The rest of the villains remained silent, glancing at one another until Dr. Facilier spoke up.
"How about you start by telling us how we got here... Wherever here is..."
He spoke, leaning forward against the back of the couch, the rest of the villains nodding and muttering in agreement.
"Well, to borrow your words, Dr. Facilier... You're in my world now, not your world... And you guys are the friends on the other side that I seem to have... Accidentally summoned??"
Dr. Facilier raised a brow at that, wondering how you knew that phrase. The rest of the villains, however, either rolled their eyes or groaned in irritation.
"Yea, we know that, babes. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. What we wanna know is how we got here."
You turned to Hades, whose flaming hair was now turning light orange at the tip, showing how quickly he was losing patience with you,
You nervously gulped at that. You're gonna have to speed this up if you want your mansion to remain intact, hoping that reason will save you from 3rd degree burns.
"Alright, alright. Look, I really don't know how you guys got here, but I can tell you what I've been doing before, and you can take away whatever from there. Is that fine with you all?"
Thankfully, most of the villains agreed with reason, turning to Maleficent, who had been silent for most of this entire exchange, for the final say.
"Very well, speak."
With the mistress of all evil's confirmation, you began summarizing the events before their unexpected arrival, from your employer's death, you moving into their mansion, the mysterious door you found, the random junk on pedestals, how you cleaned them, and then the wierd lightshow that happened after that which resulted in their arrival.
By the time you were done enumerating, you were already out of breath, panting as your mouth felt like it had just gone through a marathon.
Was this karma for all those times you didn't speak up during those group presentations?
The villains contemplated your words, processing every detail (including the ones they deemed useless and unnecessary) before Jafar finally decided to speak up.
"You mentioned having cleaned some... Random junk before our arrival, correct?"
He asked with a raised brow, the other villains turning to face you for confirmation and a silent order for you to fetch those items for them.
You nodded at that, wordlessly running back to the mysterious room to gather every item in your arms and rushing back to the living room, laying them on the coffee table.
Most of the villain's eyes lit up in recognition of some of the items, snatching them off the table and inspecting them closely.
Maleficent held onto her staff, watching as the crystal orb at the top glowed a soft green. (1st mistake, letting the tall dark fae hold onto what is the equivalent of a lethal magical weapon)
Grimhilde didn't seem too fond or attached to the mirror in her hand, but she appreciated still being able to admire herself in its fractured surface.
Hades didn't seem too attached to the item he held too, inspecting the lit torch with a raised brow.
Jafar on the other hand was all too eager with the lamp in his hold, aggressively rubbing its surface with the cloth of his wrist, only to let out an irritated huff when it did not yield the results he desired.
Captain Hook was carefully inspecting the silver hook and the iron hook he had on him with a critical eye, and after careful contemplation, he decided to trade his rusty iron hook for a clean silver one, disregarding it over his shoulder as he gleefully applied the new hook onto his arm. (2nd mistake, letting the fancy ass pirate attach a deadly weapon onto their person. At least you won't get infected with tetanus when he makes good on his promise to slice your throat)
Gaston was checking his hunting rifle for any marks or scratches on the surface, doing mock firing poses before letting out a hum of approval. (3rd mistake, does not need an explanation whatsoever. He is a big dumb man with a big gun) As he was about to set the hunting rifle down, he accidentally pulled on the trigger, causing everyone within the vicinity to flinch in surprise at the loud bang, looking up to see the large bullet hole that was made on the ceiling of your home, some debris falling off. (Case and point)
Shaking his head at Gaston's mishap, Dr. Facilier continued to shuffle the deck of tarot cards in his hands, effortlessly doing card tricks like it was second nature. (You may or may not have been momentarily entraced by the smooth and eye-catching movement)
Shan Yu, who had not said a word since the "summoning incident" stood at the far side of the room, leaning against a wall as he simply watched the scene before him, the sword now kept on a sheath that was strapped around him. (4th mistake, again, very self-explanatory. Big man who's literally and probably the only person in this room with the largest body count) Shan Yu's head turned to your direction when he felt your gaze on him, his gold eyes seeming to pierce through you, causing another unsettling chill to crawl down your spine.
You decided to quickly turn your gaze away from the ruthless hun leader and focus your sights back on the rest of the group.
Watching Scar boredly play with the lion skull like it was a sock puppet of some sorts, Ursula and Cruela already wearing the nautilus shell necklace and the exotic fur coat respectively, and finally Oogie Boogie rolling the pair of die around his pointy stub of sack he called a hand. (How the dices remained on his hand despite his lack of fingers is a mystery you will never learn the truth to)
"Great. Now that I've satiated your curiosity. I'm gonna go..."
You mumble aloud, not really caring if they heard you or not. You just wanted to escape to the kitchen right now. You were starving.
Before you could make your great escape, however, a gloved hand grabbed a hold of your shoulders.
"Now hold on just a moment darling, you haven't completely satiated our curiosities just yet..."
Cruela stated, her grip surprisingly strong for someone of her age and stature.
"She's right. We've still got one thing left to ask."
Says Ursula as she comes closer to you, a tentacle wrapping itself tightly around your leg, preventing you any chances to bail.
You begin to grow nervous as they all begin to crowd you once more.
"Uhm... And... What exactly... would that be?"
You hesitantly ask.
"You referred to us as... Disney Villains... Why?"
Grimhilde commanded, glaring down at you.
"And you best not deceive us, little one, because I'm starting to get quite... Hungry..."
Threatened Scar as he licked his tongue over his canines, eyeing you like you were gonna be his next meal.
...
Oh
...
O H
...
Oh shit.
Gods you and your big mouth, why did you have to say that before them? They obviously don't have any idea that they're works of fiction and entertainment like in Mickey's House of Mouse or Once upon a Studio.
Actually, how would they react to that?
It was never really shown how the characters coped with the idea of being created for the purpose of entertaining children.
So how would they respond to the realization that their lives had been depicted for them from the very start and that they had no actual say in the course of their stories?
...
A morbid curiosity begins to settle in your mind as a smile spreads across your cheeks, making the villains unconsciously flinch at the uneasy feeling that came with your wide and ecstatic grin as you look up at them.
"How likely are you all to suffer from an existential crisis?"
End of part 2

Can someone answer me why the Once Upon a Time cast looks more like the descendants casts parents than the actual descendants cast parents?
Can someone answer me that?
Like seriously, put Regina mills and Evie together side by side, and they look seriously related. Same with Once upon a time Cruella and Carlos.
Disney should've used the Once upon a time cast as the descendants' vk's parents instead of the people they casted

     Maleficent could feel her eyes everywhere. The courtyard during lunch, in the few classes she chose to attend, in the hallways, and on occasion even at the black lagoon after school. It made her feel like she was going crazy. Before this semester, Maleficent hadn’t so much as seen the bubbly girl and now she was being haunted by her. She was everywhere, always with some Polaroid camera or a sketchbook and it was driving her mad. It wasn’t just her, it couldn’t be. She could see the way she ogled at Hook, the careful glances she threw to Hades. Even sending focused adoring eyes to Uliana. But it was like she was the only one who could feel the girl. As if she was hyper attuned to the pastel princess’s watchful eye.
    And now there she was with her -well, Maleficent wasn’t exactly sure she wanted to call Morgie le Fay a friend. But he was hers, he belonged to them. Yet there he was leaning over the girl's shoulder, hands resting on either side of her looking at something. The display was too cozy in Maleficent’s eyes. His chin rested on her head, moving every so often as if he was speaking. He probably was, the boy would talk to anyone who’d listen. If she cared to move, she’d see the adoring wonder in the boy’s eyes, greedily eating up what the girl was showing him. Had Morgie gone and got himself a princess? The boy was always soft but that would be a new level. Perhaps that could explain her following them around though. Had she seen Morgie leave them to go to her instead? She couldn’t recall a time.
    Slowly, as if they’d startle like strays, the pixie approaches the table. If she’s lucky she won’t attract her new found stalker’s attention. She simply had to know what the girl had Morgie so enamored with, nothing more.
    “No, the way you did her eyes there,” he points at something on the page, “it’s like she’s glowing. It’s gorgeous.” “Thank you,” she looks at her watch and gasps, slamming what Maleficent could now see was some sort of notebook- a sketchbook-closed. “I have to get going, promised Bridget I’d help her with this new dandelion potion frosting she’s trying out. It’s supposed to make you have less of a center of gravity, they’re gonna be so cool,” she giggles, placing a sweet playful kiss on the villain kid’s cheek as she stands up. Briefly the girl looks over at Maleficent, looking her up and down with a smile before waving. Morgie slides out of the way, letting the princess wiggle through, her book pressed firm to her chest. “Bye, (Y/n)! Steal me a cupcake!” She giggles, turning to walk backwards for a moment so she can wink at him, “Bye Morgie. Nice to see you, Maleficent!” Nice to see her? They hadn’t spoken. Hadn’t interacted. Was every pastel princess in this school as bubbly as Bridget? Weirdo.
    “Well that explains why the girl is stalking us, doesn’t it? Went and got yourself a little princess, did you? I was wondering why I’d never seen her before she started following us around, but that just might make sense. Seems you have a lot of explaining to do, le Fay,” she snatches his wrist, damn near dragging the boy, yelling at him as if she’s his disappointed mother. Wait until Uliana got a load of this, their weakest link with a princess. “What are you talking about, Mali? (Y/n) isn’t stalking us, she’s just using us for a project.” “A project?” As if that was any better to her.
                                   ︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶
     Maleficent storming in with Morgie stumbling behind her was no rare sight at the Black Lagoon.Truly the boy was often in that position, if not tripping in her shadow, it was Uliana’s.  Grip firm on his wrist as she swings him forward, presenting him to their fellow villains. “Well, go on then,” she prompts, poking a well manicured finger against his spine, “Tell them what you did.” It causes the rest of the room to stir, eyes falling on the boy. “It’s really not that big of a deal! I don’t understand your issue with it,” he retaliates, catching the way Uliana rolls her eyes at the duo.
    “You tell them or I will.” “Fine,” he snatches his wrist away, going to sit beside Hook, “Tell them.” The boy spares him a look as he falls into the seat. Morgie shrugging to him as he leans their shoulders together.  “Genius here,” she sneers, eyes squinted at the boy, “Gave some princess permission to do a whole class project on us.” Maleficent’s eyes fall on Uliana, waiting for some sort of punishment for the boy. For her to scream, kick him out, anything. Instead, the sea witch rolls her eyes, “Are you talking about (Y/n)? Yeah we knew about that.” A disgruntled huff leaves the dark pixie’s lips. “You all knew about it?” “Well, yeah. I was with Morgie when she asked. It’s a compliment. The girl would make a fabulous painter if she wasn’t so set on a fashion degree. The detail she puts into my hair when she draws me is killer.” Uliana rolls her eyes, going back to the game of Uno that a member of Hook’s crew had her previously wrapped up in.
    For the briefest moment, Hook’s polishing hand stills, eyes flickering to Maleficent’s rigid frame. “If it makes you feel better, Mali, I didn’t know either. She doesn’t do my eyes too far apart, does she? The last bloke who painted me made me look like a sloth.” Morgie laughs, shaking his head. Hook goes back to his work, shaking his head as he speaks, “Then I don’t mind. I should go see the lassie’s work sometime.” Desperate for someone else to be mad with her, the girls eyes fall to Hades. An odd plea to them that makes him almost feel bad. He puts out the flame he’s playing with, crossing his arms as he looks at her with a stoic expression.
    “You knew too?” “Well yeah. She sits next to me in Magical history. She’s a lot, never shuts up, but she’s one hell of an artist,” he shakes his head, “How did you two not know? She’s been following us around to paint us for weeks.” Hook laughs, “I just thought she had a little crush on one of us.” Brows crinkling he tacks on a, “Since when do you actually go to Magical History?” “We’re learning about Greek Mythology. Like hell I’d miss a chance to go to a lesson about myself. It’s a good project, it’s AP traditional art, I believe. Theme is something like ‘the greyscale of villainy’. It’s impressive.” “Yeah I don’t get that,” Morgie points a lazy finger in the air, “How is it the greyscale of villainy if she’s using color?” Hades brings a hand up to his face, rubbing over it as he sighs, “It’s like when someone says, ‘everything isn’t always black or white’ not the colors.”
   “Oh so she’s saying we’re not truly evil? She’s so sugary sweet that she thinks everyone has to have some sort of goodness to them?” She’s pretty sure the words Hades says in response are some sort of Greek swears as he shakes his head. “It’s a compliment, Maleficent. You above any of us should see it that way. She’s so enamored with you and the way you dress, it’s ridiculous. The way (Y/n) draws you could start another Trojan war. She thinks you’re the coolest person at this school. Relax a little bit.” She stamps her foot, on the verge of a tantrum and turning to leave, “I never asked for that!”
                                  ︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶
     It was disgusting, the way villains were falling over her. The girl was sitting with Hook leaning on her shoulder, wiping a stray smear of frosting off his lip as she showed him her work. And the adoring look on his face was disgusting, the pirate laying it on thick as he complimented her. Pointing to different things on the page with a smile. There was no way she was that good. They were evil, they were supposed to be awful to her  not cooing over some prissy pink princess with paint splatters on her hands. How good could her work possibly be that she had every villain in that school falling at her feet?
    Maleficent had enough of it, slamming her palms against the courtyard table to force herself up. “What, pray tell, do you think you’re doing?” Hades’ head lulls back on his neck so he can look at her as he speaks. “I’m going to go see what could possibly be so good that she has you lot falling at her feet.” As temperamental as ever she storms over to the girl and her friend, barking at Hook to move. “Now Lass, is that how we talk to our friends?” He smirks up at her, a look of adoration still hanging on his features. A vibrant flash of green lights up her eyes and he throws his arms up in surrender, no use trying to fight her. “Well, Lass,” he gets up as he speaks, smiling down at the girl, “If she gives you any trouble you just shout.” She laughs, shaking her head, “I’ll be okay, Hook, don’t you worry about me.”
   Her gaze turns to the pixie, looking her up and down with a bright smile, “Hi! You look so pretty today, those tights are absolutely gorgeous.” Her eyes meet Maleficent’s again and the girl falters. “You don’t,” she raises a brow, eyes flickering between the girl and her sketchbook, “You don’t find me scary?” “Scary?” She pats the seat beside her, flicking through pages in her sketchbook as her tongue slips across her lips, “Goodness no, you’re devine. I mean the angles of your face and bangs and the way you dress are exactly why I wanted you and your friends to be the subjects of my portfolio.” She stops on a page, sliding it between them as Mali sits beside her, head tilted as she stares. “I mean, the joy on your face while Hades was speaking was so, captivating. And then your outfits, your style is just stunning. The deep rich colors and layered textures. All the chains and patterns and tights, you’re a study all on your own.” The page before her was a week worth of outfits, details perfectly done down to her last accessories. She hated how right Hades was, the way she’d drawn her was gorgeous. Potentially even prettier than she actually was. She could play with this, if the girl wants to worship her, she’d let her.
       “What do you expect to gain from this?” She hums, turning to Maleficent with her brows furrowed. “What do you mean?” “I mean, is this like, your version of the treats or something?” her laugh is almost musical, fitting for a princess she assumes. “Well, I’m hoping for a passing grade. If I happen to befriend anyone from it, that’s just an exciting bonus. I mean, I got Morgie but I think that’s a pretty easy thing to do.” Her eyes look over the girl with a twinkle in them. “It is, you could draw him in with a bowl of milk like a stray.” A hand finds its way on top of Maleficent’s following the arm attached she’s met with a playful smile, “What does it take to draw you in?” The smile that crosses her lips betrays her, maybe this girl wasn’t too bad. Annoying, definitely annoying, but she had a charm to her. “How about you paint me one on one? Since you seem so dedicated to the craft.”
                                   ︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶
     This was ridiculous. She thought she’d be able to make the girl uncomfortable or something by just being there. The outfit she had on was nothing new to her technically, if she thought about it the page the girl had shown her earlier included every piece she was wearing. But she had more skin exposed, in her mind a girl that sweet and innocent should have squirmed at the sight. Innocent or not, the girl seemed ecstatic, saying something about getting to work more on shading skin. Instead of being uncomfortable, the artist was staring at her in adoration, giving her minor commands as she paints her. Turn your head a little more to the left. Actually can you shift right just a little bit? If you do it makes the latex on those shorts shine better. She was so dedicated, so adoring in her work. It was hard not to admire it. Maybe Uliana was right to be okay with this. Maleficent had never felt this interesting in her life. It felt as if she was the only thing in the world.
    “So,” she pauses, letting out a slow breath, “You want to be a designer?” “Yeah,” she nods slightly, something the pixie only catches out of the corner of her eye. “I uh, I love the way that fabric gives itself away to art. In my heart it’s ballgowns.” Ball gowns huh? Then what was the appeal of her? “Shouldn’t your project focus on princesses then?” She tuts, leaning down to grab more purple paint from the cart on her side. “No, they all wear the same things. That’s your appeal, the clashing fabrics and richer colors, you stand out. I like that, I want to take things like that into account in my work.” It earns her a giggle, when was the last time Maleficent had genuinely giggled? “So like, a leather ball gown? Interesting sight.” “No, but come on, you’re telling me you wouldn’t be excited by a ball gown that fits a style as interesting as yours existing? Even villains like feeling pretty, don’t they?”
    If she thought about it too much, the pixie knew that’s the real reason she was here. The way the princess looked at her was precious, silly of course. But, it made her feel pretty. The way she was painted made her feel stunning. And she hoped that the warmth she could feel in her cheeks wasn’t visible. “Is it almost done? I want to see it.” “Really? Hook said you hated the idea of my portfolio.” Damnit Hook. “Yeah well,” her words fall flat, waving her hand around in the air. “Well?” “Well, maybe I changed my mind. Am I not allowed to do that?” She laughs, getting up and turning the canvas around, “Are you saying I’m winning you over, Maleficent?” Her eyes drink in the canvas, the woman who looked back at her was stunning. Surely it was supposed to be her but something about her was prettier. It was like she’d been painted into a god. Where did she learn to paint like that? “I’m saying there’s potential there. You have charisma.” She giggle, placing the canvas down before walking over to the pixie. Her finger tapping the tip of  her pale nose with a smile as she watches the blush on the girl’s cheeks darken. “Whatever you say, gorgeous. But if you ask me, it surely looks like you’re starting to like me just as much as Morgie does.” “Do not push your luck, Princess.”

Imagine: Diaval started developing feelings for you, a dark fey.
~~~
Diaval pondered you from a distance.
He did not know when exactly it had started. The long moments of study when his eyes regarded only you.
Afternoons spent catching glimpses of your flying patterns like a dance in the sky. Late evenings had him basking in the warm glow and memorized by your presence in the fading light.
Tumblr media
Nights when the beings of the Moors played and flew, Diaval caught himself admiring you. The smile pulling your lips, your wings bathed in moonlight, and the moments your gaze landed on him. Bright and genuinely happy.
It was as if wings fluttered inside of himself. Nervous and delighted.
Perhaps when the sun rose, if he decided bravely, Diaval would inquire if you would care to fly with him.
Happy Valentine's Day :)
Since you seem to be in a Maleficent mood, can we get a Mal x reader drabble please?
Happy extremely belated Valentine's to you too anon – here you go!
Maleficent x Reader Drabble - Bad Weather
Absolutely stunning forethought on your part, to be out in the dark mountains with no coat.
Thunder rattles your bones as dark clouds surge overhead, rain sluicing down through your clothes as though personally offended you’re not yet soaked through. Maleficent’s castle, in all it’s ominous glory, leers down from above. You can see her goons running around the ramparts, unable to hear you over the wind and water.
Another slap of thunder has you flinching under the cliffside. Shit. Maybe you can find an alcove-?
A sound like water hitting an umbrella filters into focus as the rain eases. Shivering, you glance back, meeting amused yellow eyes in the downpour.
“Enjoying the weather, my pet?”
Maleficent, unbothered by the elements and partially transformed, stands with her dragon wings arching overhead into a makeshift shelter. She tsks and beckons you closer, literally taking you under wing and arm. “Poor thing,” she mocks, smile curling at how your teeth are chattering even as you roll your eyes and lean in. You let your eyes close as her nails trace the raindrops on your cheek. “Come now,” she purrs, leading you back towards the castle. “A frail little thing mustn’t catch cold, hm?”
Maleficent and Diaval.❤️❤️
No matter what was said about Maleficent 3, Maleficent and Diaval will be together for me. Or they will be together in my mind. They were destined to be together, their gaze and behaviour towards each other, it showed. Just my opinion. So as for myself, I will continue to imagine Maleficent and Diaval together.
I imagine their lips join together and they kiss each other : True Love's Kiss.❤️❤️
Under Her Shadow| Gil LeGume
Tumblr media
Pairing: Platonic!Gil x Mal's Sister!Reader
Word Count: 1,667
Trigger warning: this story contains themes of emotional neglect and family dysfunction.
A/N: This is my first attempt at writing a one-shot, so please don't be too harsh on me...
Summary: Basically it's a sad & lonely-reader meeting and befriending the ball-of-sunshine that is Gil LeGume...
༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
You stand in a secluded alley on the Isle of the Lost, watching as Mal and her friends wreak havoc on the poor inhabitants of this forsaken place. You are Mal's younger sister, but it often feels like you don't even exist to your own mother, Maleficent, who openly favors Mal over you, always praising her older daughter's every move and putting her on a pedestal. Meanwhile, you are left in the shadows, feeling invisible and unwanted.
You watch as Mal struts around with her new friends, Jay, Evie, and Carlos. They are now the most infamous gang of Vks on the İsle, known as the "Core Four", and Mal is the leader. They’ve been inseparable since going on that crazy quest (that you weren’t part of) to retrieve Maleficent’s scepter: The Dragon’s Eye.
As you see them all laughing and joking together, a bitter wave of loneliness washes over you (despite knowing that deep down, you'll never fit in with them, no matter how hard you try). You have no one to talk to, no one to confide in, and no one to call a friend.
You try to approach Mal, to see if she'll pay any attention to you, but she brushes you off with a wave of her hand. She's too busy with her new friends, and you're just an afterthought. As the day wears on, you find yourself feeling more and more isolated. You watch as Mal and her friends plan their next scheme, and you know you'll never be a part of it.
Eventually, you decide to wander off on your own. You find yourself in the docks, sitting on a barrel, feeling sorry for yourself. You can't help but wonder why your mother doesn't love you as much as she loves Mal. What did you do wrong?
As you sit there, lost in your thoughts, a shadow falls over you. You look up to see a boy standing in front of you, his arms crossed over his chest. It's Gil LeGume, son of Gaston.
"What are you doing here all alone?" he asks, his voice surprisingly gentle.
You shrug your shoulders, not really knowing how to answer.
"Are you okay?" he asks, concern etched on his face.
You shake your head, tears threatening to spill over. "No," you whisper.
Gil sits down beside you, and you're surprised at how comfortable you feel around him. You've always been too disgusted by Gaston and his sons to talk to them, but Gil seems different.
"What's wrong?" he asks, his voice soft.
Trusting your instincts, you take a deep breath and tell him everything. About how Maleficent favors Mal over you, about how you feel invisible and unwanted. About how you're always left out and never included.
Gil listens intently, his eyes never leaving yours. When you're finished, he puts his arm around you, and you lean into him. It's the first time in a long time that you've felt comforted.
"You know," Gil says, "Blood-Family isn't everything. You don't need the approval of your mother to be happy."
You look up at him, surprised. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, that you shouldn't have to strive to be like Mal, for Maleficent’s approval. You don't have to follow in her footsteps. You can be your own person, and make your own choices. You can do whatever you want and be whomever you want to be… That’s what İ did and İ’ve never been happier."
You nod, feeling a glimmer of hope for the first time in a long time. Maybe he's right. Maybe you don't have to be in Mal's shadow forever.
Gil stands up, pulling you to your feet with him. "Come on," he says, "Let's go to Ursula’s Fish and Chips, I heard that the fries are on discount today."
You smile, feeling a weight lifted off your shoulders. Maybe today isn't so bad after all. And maybe, just maybe, you'll find your own place in the world, away from Mal's shadow.
As you and Gil walk through the Isle of the Lost, you start to see things in a different light. You notice people and places that you've never seen before, and you begin to realize that there's a whole world outside of Mal's group.
You and Gil sit on a bench, eating your chips and talking about everything and nothing. You tell him about your favorite things, like reading and drawing, and he tells you about his love for pirating and sports.
It's the first time in a long time that you've had a real conversation with someone, and you realize how much you've been missing out on.
When the sun starts to set, Gil walks you back to your home. You thank him for spending time with you, and he gives you a smile that makes your heart flutter.
As you walk into your house, you're surprised to see Maleficent waiting for you. She looks angry, and you feel a pang of fear in your chest.
"Where have you been, Y/N?" she demands, her eyes narrowed.
"I was just out," you say, trying to keep your voice steady.
"Out where?" she snaps.
"Just around," you say, feeling a knot form in your stomach.
Maleficent glares at you for a few more seconds before storming off, leaving you standing there, feeling small and insignificant.
You walk up to your room, closing the door behind you. You sit on your bed, staring at the wall, feeling tears sting your eyes. You thought maybe things were going to change, but now you feel like you're right back where you started.
As the night wears on, you can hear Mal and her friends laughing and having fun outside your window. You try to ignore them, but their voices carry, taunting you with their happiness.
You pull your blanket up around your shoulders, feeling alone and forgotten. You try to remind yourself of what Gil said earlier, that you don't need to be like Mal or her friends, that you can make your own choices.
But it's hard to believe that when you feel so unloved and unwanted.
Eventually, you fall asleep, but your dreams are plagued with visions of Mal and Maleficent, both of them looking down on you with disdain.
When you wake up in the morning, you feel drained and exhausted. You don't want to face another day of feeling like you don't belong.
But then you remember Gil's words, and you decide to try to take his advice. You grab a notebook and start to write, letting your imagination run wild.
As the day wears on, you find yourself getting lost in your poetry, forgetting about the world outside your bedroom window.
You're surprised when you hear a knock on the balcony of your window. You look up to see Gil standing there, a shy smile on his face.
"Hey," he says, "I was wondering if you wanted to hang out again today?"
You smile, feeling warmth in your chest. Maybe things are starting to change after all.
Together, you and Gil explore the Isle of the Lost, discovering new places and things to do. You feel like you're finally starting to find your own place in the world, as your own person.
As the sun starts to set, you and Gil sit on a rooftop overlooking the Isle of the Lost. You talk about everything and nothing, and you realize how much you've come to value his friendship.
"You know," Gil says, "You're pretty fun to hang out with."
You laugh, feeling a blush rise to your cheeks. "Thanks," you say, feeling a happiness that you haven't felt in a long time.
As the night wears on, you and Gil walk back to your house. You say goodnight, feeling a sense of contentment that you haven't felt in a long time.
But as soon as you open the door to your house, that sense of contentment disappears. Maleficent is waiting for you, her arms crossed and a scowl on her face.
"Where have you been, this time?" she demands.
You feel a knot form in your stomach as you try to come up with an answer. "Out with a friend," you say, your voice barely above a whisper.
Maleficent glares at you, her eyes narrowing. "Out with a friend? Fool! Villains don't have friends, only allies… Your sister is a leader with three minions, why can’t you be more like her?" she says, her voice dripping with disdain.
You feel tears sting your eyes as you realize that nothing has changed. Maleficent still sees you as inferior to Mal, and nothing you do can change that.
But then you remember Gil's words, and you find a newfound strength inside of you. You stand up straighter, looking Maleficent in the eye.
"I'm my own person," you say, your voice steady. "I don't need to be like Mal to be happy."
Maleficent's expression softens for a moment, but then it hardens again. "You'll never be as good as Mal," she says, her voice cold.
You feel a sense of defeat wash over you as Maleficent walks away, leaving you standing there, alone and forgotten once again.
But then you remember the happiness you felt with Gil, and you realize that you don't need Maleficent's approval to be happy. You have your own interests and your own passions, and you don't need to live in Mal's shadow anymore.
From that moment on, you start to embrace your own identity. You spend most of your time with Gil, exploring the Isle of the Lost and discovering new things. You draw and read and write, finding joy in the things that make you unique.
And even though Maleficent still sees you as inferior to Mal, you now know that you don't need her approval to be happy. You have your own place in the world, away from Mal's shadow, and you've finally embraced the fact that you don't need to be anyone but yourself to be happy…
