Hi! I'm looking for a male voice, mid range to low. The character this is for is about 21 to 23 years old. He's a wild character, a rockstar, with a sensitive side and a sadistic side. He used to have a British accent, but since living somewhere else he kind of lost it. I'm so nervous about asking, but its so hard to find a voice for him, you're so good at what you do. Please help. Thank you. 😊

I’m going to assume the British accent isn’t much of a factor for you if he has lost it along the way (and usually usually it’s difficult to tell anyone has one when they’re singing, save for certain vowel sounds, etc,) but I know a couple of voices on this list are going to sound extremely American... I just couldn’t resist the apt personality behind them! I’d also like to say straight out of the gate, I just know this is one of those Asks that I’ll add to eventually, because I can picture several additional voices (who are probably more fitting than those on the list!) but I can’t remember their names for the life of me ;n; So, I might be PMing you someday xD

Speaking voice:

Theo James’ accent is low, isn’t very pronounced, generally fits the age range, and so was the first to come to mind. But perhaps not the personality of your boy except for his more sensitive side?

fun fact, to make this I did a charcoal drawing and afterward I took pictures of my face to see where I’d gotten charcoal, then based it off of that. in this house, we practice realism.

clxirefoley, I have been DYING to get to this post!! So sorry for such a long wait. This has been a challenging one to nail down (and I’m still not positive I’ve done that. ^^; ) I like that he is lion-based; I have roughly Too Many characters and nearly all of their traits and mannerisms are based off of animals. xD Because you didn’t specify an accent, I tossed in a couple of wild cards. ^_^ Good luck, and please let me know if any of these are helpful!

Thomas Müller , German, is a real cutie. It’s tricky to find him speaking English while also sharing his warm smile. He’s usually quite focused in interviews. (very quiet audio, sorry!)

Daniel Brühl is German with a faint accent who has played French roles.

Gaspard Ulliel, French, a little bit younger (with a little more accent) and Gaspard Ulliel a little bit older (with slightly less accent.)

Hiya! I was looking for an deeper/rougher male’s voice, aged late 30s/early 40s and a Southern accent. The character is a serial killer on death row in a maximum security prison for killing his wife and daughter, as well as other members of their small cult village. A slower pace would be neat, or some calm/creepy dialogue would be amazing too if you could find it! Hey there, Anon! He sounds adorable! Since you didn’t specify an age, the default is usually between 20–30. If you’d like an older or younger claim, just inbox!

So first of all, I would highly recommend you look into “asmr French accent male” results on YouTube. That’s how I found Xavier’s channel. As defined by Urban Dictionary, ASMR is an acronym for “Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.” The sole purpose of ASMR is to relax people. So there are a lot of whispery quiet people speaking nice things. (:

Another suggestion, slightly older than the last, would be Daniel Brühl playing a French restaurant owner in the movie Burnt. (He’s German, so his French accent may have a bit of a German accent, but it is pleasant to listen to.)
