it’s horrible to say but it’s never been a better time for scam artists to exploit your generosity, when things seem so dire, and I’ve donated to campaigns before only to realise later that the entire story was stolen from an actual family in need. due diligence might take a few more minutes out of your day but at least you won’t be sending money to an opportunistic scumbag.

My art of Zoro for my Wings AU.

Zoro’s wings are based off of a Green Pheasant, the national bird of Japan, tying into his heritage were he real. The green pheasant symbolises power, abundance and promise, which can relate to his promise with Kuina - who would also be a green pheasant, though with the female variations of the wings. It is also believed that the Green Pheasant is a messenger of the Sun Goddess, Amaterasu, which nicely parallels the canon storyline, where Zoro is first-mate to the embodiment of the Sun God.
