5. MALE DE SARDET CAN HAVE HIS HEART BROKEN BY CAPTAIN KURT ON DAY ONE (or so this one fanfic I read said but I pray that it is canon)

I feel a repressed sadboi mage De Sardet mesmerised by the free-spirited, sea-lead Vasco fanfic coming on and I will NOT apologise for it.

(Vasco is equally enchanted in return by the handsome, stammering noble with the exquisite blush and clumsy handling of weapons and such little regard for his own talents (and looks) and he hungers to draw the tempest he can sense confined beneath the trappings of nobility to the surface.)

Because almost every time I interact with someone De Sardet gets referred to using he/him pronouns? Not that I mind but I'm genuinely curious.

I am SO glad you asked omg so-

The game is an early 18th century fantasy 'age of exploration' setting, where you, De Sardet, a noble of the royal house, and your cousin, a prince's son, are tasked to travel to the mysterious, newly colonised island, Tír Fradí

As the ambassador of your people, you are there to keep the peace between your ally factions, and learn about the native people of the island and their magic. Along the way, you gain companions, learn the secrets of the island, and attempt to find a cure for the plague that is ravaging your people on the mainland

You choose in the beginning to play De Sardet as male or female (which only influences your romance choices), with character image also lightly customisable. You also choose your combat archetype - magic, martial or technical, and can branch out into different ways of play as you gain levels. Companion relationships and equipment can give boosts to some stats and can be the difference between succeeding or failing certain encounters

GreedFall was made by a small studio that REALLY put their heart into what they created, so while sometimes graphics and gameplay can be a little less polished at times, the soul of the story and the characters shine as bright as anything. There are story beats and cutscenes that still blow me away when I think of them

It is a wonderful and relatively short (even doing all quests and side quests) game to play, that has you SO curious about where it will lead to and what you will discover on your journey

I 100% recommend the game to you as a solid, unique, and really special rpg. It is enchanting 💖

OH RIGHT Vasco Greedfall for character opinion

MY TEMPEST hahahahahaha okay I'm so normal (I'm not). yeah I guess you already got the idea of how I feel about him.

How I feel about this character see above :) also yeah Vasco let's sail somewhere far away, I'm so done with this shit.

All the people I ship romantically with this character Vasco/male de Sardet is canon to me. period.

My non-romantic OTP for this character I like the dynamic he has with Kurt. both are captains and I bet they have a lot of funsies to tell each other.

My unpopular opinion about this character (I'm not really in the fandom so I have no idea what is popular/unpopular) he doesn't need to be so cute and neither needs he to be such a hopeless romantic! it's just impossible to not love him /j

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. OHHHHHHH I really wish he got a chance to explain what his tattoos mean. I want to know his story. I want to study him under microscope.

I think I (De Sardet) accidentally flirted with my good friend/the Coin Guard Captain, Kurt, and I'm so embarrassed about it 😭😭
