Chester Wayne Mallory (He/Him) by @liliflower137
Why Should Your OC Win?
Now at first glance Chester seems like he's on top of things. A talented inventor and programmer, a successful streamer, a husband and kids.
But even at the best of times he's an anxiety ridden mess, and while he would never do anything behind his husband's back he's still not immune to swooning over a hothot man
He's terrible at making decisions, his memory is a mess, and his empty nest syndrome is so bad he basically stole a kid once. And on top of everything, his last name means "an unfortunate person"
Plus there was that time he got trapped in a video game while live on twitch and died like 3 times. So embarassing.
Why not give him a win? He could use the self confidence boost!
What is Your OC Like?
Chester Mallory is a kind very family oriented man who gets attacked to people quickly. He tends to show his love through offering food, so his friends often have fridges full of his leftover spicy noodles.
His entire extended family consists of serial adopters, so his family reunions consists of lots and lots of found families
He lost his right arm in a terrible accident but taught himself to build his own prosthetic purely because he thinks the industry around prosthetics is bullshit
His friends tend to get pretty chaotic which usually leads to him playing the straight man and having to go take a nap after, but he still loves them more than anything, and would do anything to protect them all, especially his best buddies Boris and Malcom.
If you'd like to read about him, his story is "Something New" in the Hlvrai tag of ao3! His AU is called eternal stream! (The picture of him was drawn by @year2000electronics)
Harley Marquez (He/Him) by @fishingwizardyaoi
Why Should Your OC Win?
On top of being bisexual, Harley's whole deal is being cringefail, miserable, and pathetic. His main issue is his inferiority complex surrounding his twin sister who is a sensational popstar. At his lowest point, he commits identity fraud (of his twin sister) to pretend like he's accomplished something in his life—even if it's not actually as himself. Other than that, he's pretty forgettable. It's clear he's overcompensating for something when he self designates himself as some sort of class clown & clings to labels like "the gamer" in order to ground his sense of identity. His best friends are all murderers and while he should be proud of the fact that he hasn't murdered someone, he DOES get self conscious about it. He also tries to rope them into starting a band, modeled after his favorite artists—Weezer, Radiohead, & Red Hot Chili Peppers.
What is Your OC Like?
Typical jovial, silly jokester who is actually cynical and self-deprecating. He's so concerned with how he's perceived while simultaneously belittling and judging everyone around him that it creates a guy who is the source of all his own problems. He's scared of cameras and drowning but would film himself and go swimming if it was for attention (or just because everyone else is doing it). Similarly, he hates the idea of being humiliated, but will humiliate himself just to get a laugh out of the crowd. Mains Jett in Valorant and yes, has a Sage duo.
However, for all his cringefailing and losing, he does have impeccable aim and eventually learns how to shoot actual guns (after buying a pistol just to take it apart and put it back together every night before bed. It's a stim or something, helps him go to sleep). He is also so obsessed with fishing despite having never been in a boat in his life (because of his fear of drowning). Also his fanny pack that he genuinely believes is cool.

She appeared as Ana Delgado in the Edward James Olmos-starring film “Stand and Deliver” in 1998, and in 27 episodes of “ER” as nurse Wendy Goldman. Her other credits include the series “Malcom & Eddie” and “Wiseguy.”
Last October, Marquez alleged that she was blacklisted from “ER” by co-star George Clooney after complaining of racial discrimination and sexual harassment.
“Clooney helped blacklist me when I spoke up abt harassment on ER.’women who dont play the game lose caree...r’I did,” she wrote on Twitter.
Clooney issued a statement at the time saying he had nothing to do with casting on the show.
“I had no idea Vanessa was blacklisted,” he said. “I take her at her word. I was not a writer or a producer or a director on that show. I had nothing to do with casting. I was an actor and only an actor. If she was told I was involved in any decision about her career then she was lied to. The fact that I couldn’t affect her career is only surpassed by the fact that I wouldn’t.”
Marquez also wrote on social media that she was suffering from immune disorders, including celiac disease. She said several times that she was diagnosed as “terminal,” was suffering from chronic pain, and was “homebound.”
Marquez had alleged she was groped on the set of “ER” well before the #MeToo movement last fall. She claimed that when she complained to the producers, she was exiled.
“I was blacklisted and my career was over at 26,” she wrote on Facebook in January 2017. “Why are women afraid to speak up ‘at the time?’ Because everything they’ve ever worked for is RIPPED away from them. For being a goddamn victim and expecting protection.”
She also wrote extensively about her health problems and said she was entering “that Norma Desmond stage that some actors do. Watching their old stuff on tv.”
“A person only has so much strength and I’m afraid I’ve used all mine up,” she wrote. “Why couldn’t my dream have lasted for more than just those few years?”
