emma realised she cared about camden when she woke up next to him one day. he had stayed the night over at her place and was sleeping softly in her bed. she got up to cook him breakfast, even if she doesn't usually like cooking or isn't any good at it, just because she didn't want him to be hungry when he woke up. she soon realised how much she cared for him as she noticed her actions. she usually doesn't go out of her way just to please someone.

it took emma a very long time to verbally admit her feelings towards camden. even though she was clearly into him, she still found it a little hard to tell him that she liked him. emma was a little bit scared at first that camden wouldn't reciprocate her feelings. she knew that he was naturally flirty and often wondered if he didn't actually like her in that way at all. camden eventually beat her to it and was the one that confessed first.

there are a lot of things that emma wishes she never said to camden. when they were still getting to know each other, emma would often respond to his flirtations with things that she'd immediately regret saying. it would just naturally come out of her until she'd realise a few seconds later how absolutely cringe she had sounded. she wishes that she would've just shut her mouth at times because she just ended up feeling embarrassed. camden still teases her about it to this day.

the way that camden always holds emma close always makes her feel a little bit safer. she loves being in his arms, especially when they're out in public. it always makes her blush whenever camden wraps his strong arms around her, or when he drags her closer to him. emma's favourite thing to do is hold camden's hand. she always feels safe whenever he has a tight grip around hers.

again, camden's flirty behaviour will never fail to make emma smile. she really loves it when he gets all flirty with her and starts to tease her. she loves to engage in flirty banter with camden and it's something that will always help brighten her mood. emma is so whipped from camden that it doesn't really take much effort from him to see her smile.

emma really doesn't like it when she hears people talk shit about camden behind his back. she often hears people say that he's a player and that he's a major red flag and she really doesn't like it since she feels as if these people don't really know who camden is. sure, he might have a very flirty personality but he's also so much more than that. people don't know how sweet he actually is and how caring he can be. emma always feels very protective over camden whenever she hears shit like this. she will not hesitate to argue with whoever said it.

elijah first met isla through an open night at carat. he was fairly new to the neighbourhood at the time and jacob took him to the event so he could get to know the people who lived around the area. when they both walked in, isla was already in the middle of performing a song. elijah immediately thought that she had a really pretty voice and that she was really pretty herself too. throughout the night, he would often see isla staring at him before looking away when he'd make eye contact. she finally introduced herself to him after he did an impromptu performance of sunday morning (after being forced by jacob the entire night).

elijah adores isla's voice. he loves to hear her sing and finds it so comforting when she does so. isla's voice is also the first thing that really drew him towards her when he first heard her at that open mic. he definitely likes to compliment isla's voice on regular basis.

elijah loves how straightforward isla is. she's very open about her feelings and elijah appreciates it because it means that he doesn't have to keep guessing with her. he's a bit dense and the last thing he'd want is to misinterpret whatever isla has to say, her direct manner makes it easy for him to really know how she's feeling.

elijah realised he really cared about isla when she randomly called him one night. he was already in his pyjamas, ready to go to sleep when he heard his phone ring. he instantly picked it up when he realised it was isla calling. she basically called him to ask if he could pick her up and bring her home. elijah didn't even have to think twice. he immediately went to grab his keys and went to find isla. when she opened the door to his car the first thing she said to him was 'why are you wearing your pyjamas'.

elijah never found the words to confess to isla how he really felt about her, she simply beat him to it. when he started to develop feelings for her, he really did want to tell her, except he wasn't quite sure how to admit his feelings. he asked jacob for advice a couple of times but obviously he was no help. he didn't get to tell isla how he really felt until she confessed first.

elijah wishes he noticed isla's advances a lot earlier and didn't brush them off just because he didn't understand she was flirting with her. he did have feelings for isla early on but he never really acted on them because he believed that isla just saw him as a friend. he once heard in passing that isla was quite bold and that's why he thought that she was just flirty with everyone around her. elijah wishes that he never responded to any of her flirting with something that indicated he wasn't romantically interested in her.

isla's overprotectiveness is something that makes elijah feel safe. a lot of people might find her a little bit too overbearing when she's like this, but elijah actually likes it a lot. it just shows him how much isla cares for him and how she'll go out of her way to protect him.

isla singingly loudly in the car will always make elijah smile. he loves how whenever they get into his car, isla will just automatically turn the radio on, pick song off their playlist, and immediately start singing as loudly as she can. although he's never going to admit it, elijah also secretly loves it whenever isla forces him to learn a uni:verse dance with him. it always makes him happy to see her smile whenever he agrees to learn some choreo.

elijah is very chill going and there isn't really anything that he feels like he needs to protect isla from. he knows that she's more than capable of taking care of herself and that she doesn't really need any protection from him. if i'm being honest, i kind of think that it's elijah who needs protection from isla.

the way that elijah would literally drop whatever he was doing to help isla just shows how much he loves her. elijah will literally say yes to anything that isla asks. from driving her to places or picking her up, buying her the concert tickets to see her favourite artists, or even just buying her her favourite drink before they meet up because he knows she'll like it. elijah also likes to show his love for isla through compliments. he'll always compliment her outfits, her hair, and her voice whenever he can.

yejun adores minsi's eyes. he has always thought that minsi's eyes were gorgeous and loves how expressive they are. there were times when they were filming bongsoon that yejun would just get lost in minsi's eyes, often forgetting his lines and mentally kicking himself for letting her have that effect on him.

yejun loves how fun and free-spirited minsi is. he never has a dull time whenever he's around her and she always seems to put him in a better mood. he also loves how minsi is able to match his own chaoticness and he never really has to dial his personality down when he's with her.

yejun first realised he truly cared for minsi when they were filming bongsoon. there were a couple of scenes that they had to film that included stunts and even though yejun knew they were in a safe environment, he couldn't help but worry for minsi's safety. even if he wasn't part of the scene, he'd always find himself watching her from behind the camera, wishing that everything would go smoothly.

there really isn't anything that yejun hasn't told minsi. they're both very open with each other and minsi is the first person he goes to if he has something to share. yejun has always been open about his feelings towards minsi and there isn't really anything that he never found the words for.

minsi's humour and overall cuteness is something that will never fail to make yejun smile. he adores how comfortable she is in her own skin and how she doesn't really care about what others think. minsi is the one person who will always be able to make yejun happy.

yejun absolutely hates toxic fans who hate on minsi just because they're dating. he thinks they're all idiots and he isn't afraid to call them out. he once mentioned minsi when he was live and saw a comment saying something nasty about her. he paused the game he was playing, called out that person during the live, and full on gave them a lecture about how they shouldn't say things like that about other people.

everyone at decode dance studio basically wanted emma and camden to get together already. they could all see how into each other they both were and were just waiting for them to finally admit their feelings for one another. they all probably had a bet on how long it would take for emma and camden to finally start dating.

camden is definitely the one who takes the lead in most social situations. he’s easily the more confident and social one out of the two, and it helps that he knows the people in the neighbourhood better.

emma gets jealous very easily and it doesn’t take a lot to make her jealous. when she started taking classes at decode, she couldn’t help but feel jealous whenever camden was dancing with someone else. she absolutely hated that she would feel this way, because at this point she wasn’t even close friends with him or anything, but she just couldn’t help it. emma’s gotten a lot better at handling her jealousy when she officially started dating camden, but she still tends to feel this way occasionally.

camden likes to use cheesy pick up lines on emma because he knows that they will work on her. she giggles and blushes so hard whenever camden uses one and always peppers him with kisses after to show her affection towards him.

emma loves it when camden teaches her how to dance. she’s not exactly the best dancer out there but she loves how patient he is with her. she loves being able to spend time with him while also doing something he loves, not to mention the added intimacy that comes along with it.

camden is the one who always convinces emma to stay in bed longer. emma is a girlboss who likes to stay on top of her schedule and she’s definitely the type who wakes up early in the morning because she knows she has a very long beauty routine to follow. camden is basically irresistible to emma so it only takes a little bit of begging and tightening his grip around her waist for him to convince her to stay in bed.

5 — did either of them try to resist their feelings?

absolutely not. isla made it pretty clear from the beginning that she was romantically interested in elijah and although it might have taken him a little while to understand, he was happy to admit his feelings for her when he finally realised.

GENERAL

1 — who initiated the relationship, and how did it go?

isla was the one who initiated the relationship. she was the one who probably had to spell out to elijah that she likes him. like like likes him. elijah was probably a little shocked since all of isla’s previous attempts at flirting had gone past his head before. it took him a couple of seconds to fully understand what she was saying until it finally clicked and he kissed her while she was in the middle of a heated explanation about how she’s had a crush on him for forever.

6 — what’s their relationship with each other’s families? do they share a friend group?

both are very close with each other’s family and often act as if they’re one big family. isla and maisie are very close and love to hang out together and elijah already sees jude as his younger brother. elijah’s parents also adore isla and always like to tease elijah about when they’re getting married. they both also share a friend group which unfortunately means that isla has to constantly deal with elijah’s platonic soulmate, jacob lee.

one of isla and elijah’s favourite things to do is take spontaneous road trips together with no clear destination. they don’t really care about where they’ll end up, they care more about spending time with each other in the car. they love blasting music from the radio and singing as loudly as they can together.

isla and elijah’s song is sunday morning. that song basically defines their relationship. it’s the song that they always play first when in the car, the song they first sung together at open mic night, and eventually the song they have their first dance to at their wedding.

currently, isla and elijah don’t have any pets, but i’d like to think that they’d adopt a dog when they eventually move in together and have the space. i can totally see them taking the dog out for morning walks while they grab coffee together

isla is the one loves to dance. elijah doesn’t really dance often but will always indulge isla whenever she asks him to dance with her. elijah does know a couple of uni:verse dances though since isla, maisie, and jacob once forced him to learn it with them.

6 — if you had told one of them that the other would be their soulmate, what would they think?

if you told yejun that minsi was his soulmate he would literally say ‘that’s so cool.’ even before they really got to know each other, yejun has always thought that minsi was cool. he loved her energy and thought that she was just a really fun person to be around. the thought of her being his soulmate probably wouldv’e shocked him in the best possible way at first until he realised how compatible they were. he wouldn’t want anyone else as his soulmate.

GENERAL

2 — did they have an official first date? if so, what was it like?

minsi and yejun’s first date wasn’t technically an ‘official’ date. neither of them really looked at it as a date at the time but the more they looked back on it, the more they realise it was a date. it was after a long day of shooting on their kdrama. both decided to get dinner together and they eventually ended up at an arcade. they played games together and minsi won yejun a plushie. it was during that time that yejun realised he had romantic feelings for minsi. the photobooth strip they took is still on yejun’s bedside table at his dorm.

minsi and yejun have met each other’s families a couple of times. yejun’s mum absolutely adores minsi and always loves it when yejun brings her along to family events. both are also pretty close to their respective groups. uni:verse love minsi and always tease yejun that she’s too good for him. yejun also occasionally gets lovingly bullied by posy.

yejun is the absolute best when comforting minsi. you wouldn’t really expect it since he does tend to joke around most of the time, but his experience of being in a large group like uni:verse where he’s one of the hyungs means that he’s had a lot of experience when it comes to comforting others. he will always drop everything to be with minsi whenever she’s upset and will always do his best to make sure she feels better. his one goal during these situations is to make her smile and laugh.

both are very protective over each other. yejun is usually a very chill person and doesn’t really care about what others have to say, but he will stand up for minsi whenever someone has something shitty to say about her.

minsi is definitely the one who worries the most. yejun is a very carefree person and he knows minsi well enough to know that she’s probably okay. minsi on the other hand probably has to worry about yejun a lot more since she knows how often he puts himself in stupid situations.

who cooks meals for the others?

isla is the one who cooks the most since she's the better cook. elijah isn't completely useless in the kitchen but he's not that amazing at cooking. he knows how to cook basic dishes but nothing too complicated or too fancy. sometimes he'll like to surprise isla with dinner and you bet he tried his hardest to make her favourite meal.

who spams the other with memes?

both enjoy sending cute memes to each other especially when they remind them of themselves. i don't see them sending anything super cursed to each other, unless jacob gets a hold of elijah's phone and sends isla the most cursed shit ever.

who likes to tidy around the house?

elijah is the one who likes to tidy around the house. his parents taught him and maisie to always clean up after themselves so it kind of just became second nature to him. he also doesn't like mess and so he'll immediately tidy something if it looks out of place.

who likes to play pranks on the other?

isla! she's the one who likes to play little pranks on elijah. he's also really chill and will always believe whatever isla says with no question so he will always 100% fall for her pranks.

who asked the other to move in with them?

it was elijah! he asked isla soon after maisie moved out from their apartment. he didn't like the thought of living alone since he's always been living with someone else and he also soon realised that he wanted to take the next step with isla. he asked her while they went out to grab food and she immediately said yes.

who is in charge of the music during a car ride?

isla! partly because elijah is the one who is always driving which means he can't control what plays, but also mostly because isla is the one with better music taste. isla's made elijah listen to uni:verse a shit ton of times that he now knows their songs so well and could easily cover one. elijah always asks isla to play sunday morning at least once though.

who is more likely to tickle the other mercilessly?

isla does it to get attention which is funny because elijah is not ticklish at all. he will literally sit there unbothered until she stops and he's like 'ok are you done?'.

who needs to hold the other while watching scary movies?

elijah hates horror films and will always end up trying to distract himself when one is playing. i see the both of them attempting to watch a horror film together but they either end up turning it off because they’re both too scared or they just hide underneath their blanket and end up talking like that until they hear the credits roll.

who has to help the other when it comes to technology?

honestly i see both of them to be pretty competent with technology. they use technology a lot when producing and recording music so technology doesn't really bother or confuse them.

who likes to get a bit frisky in public/ an inappropriate setting?

both are pretty much on the same level when it comes to their pda levels. isla is the one who usually initiates things but elijah's always happy to go with it. isla loves to cling on to elijah when they're out together. she loves to hug his arm while they're walking down the street and he always loves to hold her hand.

who wakes up first, and do they wake up the other or let them rest?

elijah is the one who wakes up first because he has to sing his daily sunday morning cover for isla which basically acts as her alarm clock. on rare occasions, he'll accidentally sleep in and isla will wake up looking at her phone like 'where tf is my daily sunday morning alarm?? i have subscribed?? where is it???'.

who is always taking pictures of the other when they aren’t looking?

isla! she loves to take little candid photos of elijah just standing there doing nothing, minding his own business. 98% of the time he won't actually realise that she's been taking photos of him since he's so unaware of his surroundings. he'll always be a little surprised when he opens her insta stories and he sees one of the photos she's taken of him on there.

who always forgets their wallet and never ends up paying for anything?

out of the two, it's isla who's most likely to forget her wallet when they go out. it doesn't really matter if she does anyway since elijah likes to treat her when they go on dates. he's the one who usually pays for whatever they end up doing.

who can’t sleep because the other snores or moves too much at night?

elijah's the one who can't sleep at night because isla decides they need another 4 hour conversation once they've gotten into bed. elijah loves listening to isla talk about literally anything and will always take the time to talk to her when he can. it doesn't matter how sleepy he is, he will stay up to talk to her. sometimes though, he'll accidentally fall asleep in the middle of their conversation, especially if he's had a long day.

who is better at video games, and do they let the other win or show no mercy?

isla! elijah is kind of useless when it comes to video games, that particular talent went to maisie. isla is the one who always wins when they play together and i don't think she's the type to let him win. isla's really talented when it comes to games, especially at the arcade. she'll always end up winning him a cute plushie while elijah misses another shot at the basketball game.

who always gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and accidentally wakes the other?

isla is the one who accidentally wake up elijah in the middle of the night because she isn't exactly subtle when she gets up. in fairness to her, she does have to wriggle herself out of elijah's tight grasp since they're always cuddling each other when they go to sleep. elijah probably wakes up because she accidentally kicked him the leg as she was trying to get up.

minsi is the designated cook between the two of them because yejun should not be allowed to go anywhere near the kitchen. she's not exactly the best at cooking but she tries her hardest and yejun will literally eat anything that she makes. he genuinely likes her cooking even if she knows it's not the best thing out there.

both! sending memes is like a love language for both of them. there are times when their messages are literally just a bunch of memes sent to one another with no texts or context at all.

minsi! yejun is a little messy and tends to leave his things around the house. minsi's the one who's always telling him off for leaving his things in random places.

who likes to play pranks on the other?

both! i feel like these two secretly have a prank war going on between them. they're both agents of chaos and pranks seem to be another way of them showing their affection for each other.

who asked the other to move in with them?

i mean i'm pretty sure both are living in dorms with their respective groups but i can definitely see yejun asking her to move in with him once they move out of their dorms. yejun has literally never experienced living alone. he went from his parents, to the uni:verse dorms, to living with minsi.

minsi takes charge of the music because yejun is usually the one driving. his favourite playlist is also 'every posy song ever' and sometimes minsi would just like to listen to songs that aren't by her group.

yejun. he's just annoying like that and will take any opportunity to create chaos. it always ends up with them running around and chasing each other. they once ran around the entire apex building trying to catch one another.

minsi. yejun is like this huge, tall dude but he is so pathetic. he gets scared easily when watching horror movies that minsi will literally have to sit there while he hides underneath their blanket.

i think both are pretty good when it comes to using technology, but there are some instances where yejun will have to ask minsi for some help because he's just stupid.

neither! both are very good when it comes to this because they know apex will literally snipe them if they are somewhat showing affection to each other in public.

when they both don't have work, it's usually minsi who gets up first. yejun is a deep sleeper and can sleep for hours on end without any hesitation. minsi probably wakes him up just so he can eat something.

who is always taking pictures of the other when they aren’t looking?

yejun! he loves taking random pics of minsi while they are doing the most mundane things. his favourite thing to do though is to take unflattering selfies on minsi's phone when she's not aware of it. she'll literally open her phone the next day to see 100+ new pics of yejun.

who always forgets their wallet and never ends up paying for anything?

yejun. he's forgetful and never double checks to see if he has his wallet with him. he also forgets he's rich sometimes so whenever they go out together, he'll always be like 'oh but can we afford this minsi? :('. like bitch please u make bank. he'll always make sure to treat minsi to something the next time they go out together if she ends up paying the last time.

i feel like neither. both are always so tired from their jobs that sleeping is never an issue for them. i feel like they both drop dead the minute they get home and don't wake up until they're fully rested again.

both are very good at video games and playing games is another bonding activity together. whether they're playing at home or at the arcade, they always make it a competition to see who wins. they're both very competitive as well when it comes to gaming so there's no way that they would let the other win.

probably yejun. occasionally, he'll get up in the middle of the night because he's realised he's hungry. he's also pretty clumsy so getting out of bed when he's half asleep will never be easy for him. he probably bumps into their bedside table which causes a loud noise and accidentally wakes minsi up.
