don't mind me i am just feeling such despair thinking how i will probably have to move sooner or later to a foreign country and will have to learn a brand new language and make enough money because i am not leaving my mom in serbia. like i can't just go like my other friends and think only about myself and i don't know it's weighting a bit heavy on me at this moment like why wasn't i born rich. my taurus friend is like "cant wait for u to move out of serbia" but she literally doesnt work + is a stay at home gf with a rich man like girl 😭😭😭😭 WHATEVER. positive thoughts......

Truly going insane watching my dad destroy expensive phones and laptops faster than I can fucking reorder them for him.

Doesn't matter how much help and advice I give him; my mans is just the clumsiest and stupidest motherfucker alive when it comes to electronics. Killed two phones the exact same way and two laptops the exact same way.

(Fucking up the phone charging ports by jamming the plug in unaligned. Spilling water on the laptops and then IMMEDIATELY trying to restart them. I mean. You'd think if you destroyed a multi hundred dollar device because of a certain really dumb and avoidable mistake you would, idk, remember to not make that mistake again ... fuck me).

Straight up lost a brand new cell phone replacement before even opening the box, and his memory is such shit I can't even tell if he even received it in the first place.

Meanwhile it takes me at least 4-5 years before needing to replace something, and usually it's because of shit like defective lithium ion batteries ...

Been doing paid surveys lately on Prolific Academic, a site that gathers up respondents mainly for academic studies and business focus testing. It's honestly pretty good money compared to other survey sites I've used, especially if you get into the focus groups, and came across one study looking for anonymously shared Safari browsing data. bit of an general update

in reference to that ask i just answered, one of my rats, Sidney, passed away on thursday. she was one of my rats who had been experiencing health issues recently, which was what i had been plugging commissions for so often recently. so...vet comms are no longer vet comms, in the sense that i no longer have any upcoming vet appointments, but between all the regular vet visits and an trip to the emergency vet last week, I did have to eat into my savings a bit.

All this to say that I am still open for commissions, and will be open for commissions indefinitely for anyone that is interested, especially since I still have some upcoming dental work, and I am planning to have Sidney cremated so I can bring her home. I will most likely be reposting my commission info w/o the vet comms part of it, since that’s no longer really relevant.

as a shop update, I will probably start looking at which pin design is produced next soonish, sometime later in the month after my dentist appointment, maybe, or in April. later today or tomorrow probably i’m going to post a survey with a few potential next pin designs and do an interest check to see what people would be most interested in seeing next so I can go back and futz with the art for whichever design ends up being the most popular to ensure i’m 100% satisfied with the art.
