Gearbox announcing both that there will be new DLC for RoR2 AND leaking a shitty cashgrab RoR knockoff mobile game is giving me whiplash
#cupcake thoughts#risk of rain#ror#seriously from the leaked trailer gearbox seems to have entirely missed the point of the series’ atmosphere#making it all blobby and cutsesy looking misses the point of the story of ror itself#the actions of everyone in this series are not to be celebrated; sugarcoating the way the game’s violence happens removes#an integral part of the atmosphere#ugh i can rant about it a bunch i just really like the story of ror and smoothing it over to make it marketable™️ just feels like such#a major gut punch
