The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Society and the Future Workforce
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a revolutionary force that is quickly reshaping society and the future of work. Picture this: a world where smart algorithms streamline mundane tasks, autonomous vehicles traverse our streets, and virtual assistants anticipate our every need.
AI is already a reality and not just a sci-fi concept; it affects every aspect of our lives. The development of AI is characterized by one of its most intriguing features: its capacity to learn from data without explicit Programming. AI systems can replicate human intelligence by spotting patterns, making predictions, and constantly improving themselves thanks to Machine Learning (ML) techniques.
AI is also transforming how we engage with the rest of the world. With virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa and improvements in natural language processing, communication with machines has become more natural and human-like. From smart homes to customer service bots, this technology is being incorporated into a variety of products and applications, greatly improving user experiences.
Artificial intelligence is pushing the limits of human inventiveness. Did you know that AI-Powered Systems can now write convincing articles, compose music, and even create art that rivals the work of human artists?
What about the dangers that could arise if AI becomes more intelligent than humans? While a “Terminator” scenario may not be a concern, it is crucial to have control over AI development and match it with human values in order to secure our future.
Despite these breakthroughs, the impact of AI on the workforce is undeniable. The World Economic Forum estimates that by 2025, technology may eliminate about 85 million jobs while creating 97 million new ones. Governments, corporations, and society will need to work together to address this shift in order to make sure that everyone benefits from AI and that no one is left behind.
But it’s not all doom and gloom. AI is also creating new job opportunities and demanding a new set of skills. Roles like Data Scientists, AI Trainers, and Algorithm Developers are in high demand, and businesses are seeking experts who can leverage AI to drive innovation and stay competitive.
Consideration must be given to AI’s Ethical Implications. Artificial intelligence (AI) bias can support social injustice and discrimination. Society must ensure that AI is used responsibly and ethically to avoid unintended consequences and safeguard against misuse.
The effects of AI on society and the workforce of the future are mixed. Despite the spectacular improvements and efficiency advantages it promises, job stability and human-centred experiences are also put at risk. To ensure peaceful coexistence between people and machines, it is crucial to invest in skill development, cautiously embrace AI, and prioritize ethical AI development.
Our ability to adapt and pool our knowledge will be the key to releasing AI’s full potential for a brighter future as it continues to develop. Let’s embark on this AI-driven journey together, embracing the possibilities and embracing the human spirit that will always drive us forward.
“The potential of Artificial Intelligence to improve healthcare, transportation, and education is remarkable, but we must ensure it remains aligned with human values and ethics.” — Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft

How many mistakes can one guy make? Trying out different 3D cad programs. They have to be inexpensive at not too difficult to jump into, to mesh with this Jack-of all-trades-master-of-none. I like the free version of Shapr3D so far. Here is a very early WIP of a maker coin. #ohawclan #acemarken #makersmuse #makercoin #wip #shapr3d #shapr3dapp #makermovement #joatmon #diveinthewatersfine

Playing with shapes! These things are called sphericons and were inspired by makersmuse on YouTube. They're created by a shape cut in half then revolved around the cut line, then half of the revolve is turned. They're really cool and roll in squiggles!

Just 2 weeks, 12 hrs of printing, 8 of design and countless hrs of YouTube. 😂 Mastering Design, Parametric modelling, Fusion360, Slicing, and 3D printing. . . @lucylastic53 asked me to produce a wall bracket for her Ukelele for school. This was my second "self-designed" 3D printing project. 5 design iterations (including one restart), 2 prototypes, and the finished product. . I'm starting to become proficient in Autodesk Fusion360, and figure out how to design something that won't need supports on the printer. Materials, construction strength, product efficiency, and print speed all inputs to something that is unique, personal, and functional. . . #3dprinting #crealityender3v2 #pla #livingrocks #nokillswitch @adskfusion360 . . Shoutout to @makersmuse @larschristensen for your tutorials helping me get this far (at West Pennant Hills) https://www.instagram.com/p/CbCIugerUzU/?utm_medium=tumblr

Why NEP Focuses on Teaching Coding in Schools?
Imagine a world where every student has the power to shape the future through coding. That's the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) in India, which places a strong emphasis on teaching coding in schools. But why exactly does the NEP focus on coding education? Let's unravel the reasons behind this strategic move and embark on an exciting journey into the world of coding.
Did you know that coding is not just for computer geeks? It's for everyone! It's a skill that has become increasingly valuable across industries. From healthcare to agriculture, from finance to entertainment, coding is transforming the way we live, work, and communicate. By introducing Coding Education, the NEP aims to equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital age and take advantage of the diverse career opportunities that await them.
Coding education also nurtures the spirit of innovation and creativity. Students who learn to code become creators who use Technology to make their ideas come to reality. They have the option to create apps, video games, or interactive websites. Students can use coding to let their imaginations run free and turn their most fantastical concepts into attainable realities. It crosses disciplinary boundaries, creating new opportunities for interdisciplinary Research and Development.
Coding, the language of the future, is a powerful tool that transcends Cultural and Language Barriers. It builds worldwide collaboration and connects people from all backgrounds. The National Education Policy (NEP) acknowledges the value of introducing youngsters to coding in order to support their growth as global citizens.
Students get the opportunity to collaborate on coding projects with classmates from around the world by learning to code in the classroom. To solve world problems, they can cooperate, share ideas, and learn from one another. This not only gives them technical skills but also develops a cooperative and understanding mindset in them. The NEP's emphasis on coding education equips students with the tools they need to become engaged members of society, bridging divides and embracing a future of cooperation and togetherness.
Now, let's ask ourselves some intriguing questions: Have you ever wondered how your favourite apps or video games are created? How does Artificial Intelligence work? What is the secret behind self-driving cars? By learning how to code, students gain insights into the technologies that shape our world. They become curious explorers, unravelling the mysteries behind the Digital Innovations we encounter every day.
NEP's emphasis on teaching coding in schools is a futuristic decision that equips children with a future that is closely tied to technology. The NEP strives to enable students to become active participants, problem solvers, and innovators in a world that is changing quickly by giving them coding skills. In order to unleash our creativity and begin an exciting journey of inquiry and discovery, let's embrace the Power of Code. The future? You might be the next computer genius who uses code to transform the world!

I added a new 3D printer to the arsenal. The Creality 10s Pro and very pleased with the results. First thing to do is update the firmware for both the board and the LCD touchscreen, which involved removing the bottom panel. I printed the greebles at 0.15mm layer height.. and it will print as small as to 0.1mm. I could get similar results from the Lulzbot Taz 5 I already have, but the Creality ships with a 0.4mm nozzle and I put a 0.6mm on my Taz5 for printing faster, lowrez structural parts out of carbon fiber nylon filament. It’ll be nice to use the 10S for more detailed pieces that I plan on painting. Shoutout to @makersmuse for great 3D printing advice and Teaching Tech youtube channel for a fantastic how to video.
