Well, I had an epiphany, and have decided in my Bane torments Gortash in the afterlife fic, he'll end the TV broadcast in the Bhaal Temple at the point that Durge is killed by Bhaal and go "Well, they're dead, sucks to be you!"

And Gortash will know Durge will never come for him because Durge is dead and trapped in their Father's realm.

Durge will fail to find Gortash because they can't get to Bane's realm and don't know he's in the Hells.

Bane just whistling a cheery little ditty of how he's ruined two lover's lives (and afterlife) with the barest amount of effort.

i think we finally found something we have different opinions on because i physically cant see this before izuku's crush realization for me.

i just really like the idea of like when monoma and izuku sorta become buddy buddy with their shared quirk enjoyment Izuku starts to become endeared by the little things (and even the things he used to think were lowkey annoying) that monoma would do when they spend time together.

AND LIKE WHEN 1-A QUESTION"S IZUKU OR SHITS ON MONOMA IZUKU IS LIKE "guys he's actually really sweet" and someone would be like

"no he just has a soft spot for you"

and like,,, he does. monoma like absolutely refuses to admit it but he really does think that izuku is just amazing. better than him in every way. which fuels his inferiority complex but also has this mixed in admiration and it messes with monoma's head SO BAD because hes supposed to hate this boy.

he wants to be around izuku but he wants to run away from his as fast as he can when hes nearby. he wants to love him but it would never work because izuku is thousands of miles ahead of him in everything, so why would he ever look back at monoma? why would he ever choose him out of all people. its impossible, so its better to hate him then to get himself hurt by wishing on a star that doesn't even exist.

and then with Midoriya, he probably thinks that monoma lowkey dislikes him still since he sucks at expressing feelings by anything other then being mean so its like

izuku knows that monoma likes being around him because he keeps spending time with him, but sometimes he's unsure due to the things Monoma says. (AUTISM. and his self image issues lol)

so these two are just in this never ending "he doesn't like me like that" cycle and the hypothetical readers are just like

"FUUUUCCCKKKKKKKK PLEASE JUST TALK ABOUT FEELINGS OR SOMTHING FOR ONE MINUTE I BEG"

various christmas related asgzc thoughts:

- its their first time celebrating christmas together, as their own family, and its their first time celebrating the entire holiday season and being able to enjoy everything that comes with it to its fullest, especially sephiroth since he’s never been able to really experience christmas at all

- genesis demands that they get the biggest tree they can and decorate their tree as extravagantly and flashy as possible, overseeing the entire ordeal as he makes the others do the actual work and just tells them what to do

- while trying to wrap the tinsel(?)/garland(?) around the tree, zack somehow accidentally manages to tie himself to the tree with it

- zack also tangles himself in the christmas lights, and upon trying to help him, cloud ends up also being tangled up in them, so they end up needing to seek help from angeal, waddling over to him awkwardly in a mass of colorful lights, much to cloud’s humiliation

- genesis puts mistletoe absolutely everywhere he can and then demands the others kiss him every time one of them inevitably stands under it with him, and zack ends wanting to do the same except he doesn’t necessarily demand kisses, he’ll just look like a sad kicked puppy if one of the others doesn’t kiss him. they all also need to explain the mistletoe tradition to sephiroth, who doesn’t quite understand the point but absolutely joins in anyways

- they all “build” a gingerbread house together… they give up after hours of it falling because they each kept knocking it over in one way or another and instead decorate a pile of crushed gingerbread house pieces because after so many times falling the pieces just kept breaking more and more

- they go out to play in the snow together, making snow angels, or at least attempting to, and having a silly little competition of who can make the best snowman (spoiler alert: it’s actually none of them…) and they argue about the winner until it quickly devolves into a snowball fight (genesis throws the first snowball) and they all absolutely pelt each other with them until they’re completely covered and need to go inside before they risk hypothermia

- while trying to light the fireplace so they can all warm up, zack nearly sets himself on fire and manages to accidentally singe a small bit of sephiroth’s hair

- they try to take some nice christmas pictures like a family… it goes exactly how bad you would expect…

a couple angstyer ones:

- zack and sephiroth visiting angeal’s grave on christmas, running into genesis also visiting angeal’s grave, brushing snow off of it and sitting with their backs on different sides of angeal’s gravestone, zack on one side, sephiroth in the middle, and genesis on the other side as they take turns recounting stories of things that have happened over the year, with each of them hesitantly starting to hold hands in the snow, momentarily making up with each other. and after the nibelheim incident, sephiroth is no longer there but genesis and zack keep up the sort of tradition, although this time they have no positive stories to recount

- after zack dies, cloud visits zack’s grave with small gifts every christmas, although unlike zack he doesn’t have any accompaniment to share his grief

My Jame's partner's real name is Jade

Jade's pronouns are she/her

I usually dont like making race Headcanons just cos they tend to start fights so im just gonna re iterate that theres are just MY Headcanons. You can think whatever you want but my Jame's spous oc is black.

She owns a bunch of those really flowy really silky dressing-gowns

Her and love (anton's love) will hang out whenever the pain of missing their husbands gets a little to much

She didnt have a lot of friends for the longest time but after james started being away for longer and longer she decided to get out of the house more offten

Her friend group consists of: laskos listener, smartass and cutie. They where all already friends before meeting jade but they still welcomed her with open arms

Jade and james new each other in high school. They where both always silently competing for top of their class until james finally formerly introduced himself. He fell first 100%. However she asked him out for "study dates" first (they eventually turned into real dates over time). One day jade straight up asked "so are we dating or what?" And james was (a blushing mess) like "do you want to be?" And so they where official!

No one in their school was surprised

They both strike me as aggressive nerds. Like james 100% yelled at people in the hallways for running and jade backed him up

Jade was also the tipe to hit people in the head with books in the library if they weren't being quiet.

James always thought that was hot

Jade is a tsundere 100%

Ive said this before but jade has come very close to cheating on james due to how offten he'd leave her alone

Shed always chicken out at the last second but shed always tell james about it afterwards

Just to try and get through to him just how close hed gotten to losing her

Hed cry every time this would happen

(On a less angstyer note) jade loves being picked up or even just held bridal style and james loves holding her like that

If she ever met asset she would become like a mother figure to them

And if marcus ever had the misfortune of meeting her hed get beaten the sh*t out of for obvious reasons

The final clue.... So let's see what I came up with based on the previous clues:

- Pre-Season 1:

I'm still going on the assumption that this means that the fic is set in that era.

- Exchange:

At the time my first thought was the Hallmark Christmas movie Saundreas prompt, but based on the other clues, I don't think that's it or if it is it will be a lot angstyer and darker than the usual Hallmark Christmas movie. 🤣

Based on the other prompts I'm leaning more towards this hinting at a fight.

- Antidote:

In combination with the other two clues this still make me think of a fight against the Burned Ones and one of them being injured by one.

- Mind:

This could mean either mind magic or mind control and may be a hint that one of the character you picked is Farah. Or, come to think of it, Andreas if it's about mind control.

- Tent:

That might fit with them being on a mission during the war, sleeping in tents.

Looking at what I came up with I have to admit that I'm wondering whether it has anything to do with your clues or whether it's mostly influenced by the ideas I came up with for my own HEX fic.

Now, I ended up writing something completely different, but my HEX drafts 1 and 3 were all about someone getting injured by a Burned One and the other character(s) having to try and save them, while also coming to terms with possibly having to kill their friend/lover.

So I may still be way too stuck on that idea. Guess I will find out tomorrow. 😉

i never get to see tiny/shrunken phil prompts. anything for that? the angstyer the better. make those boys have a reason to feel protective of their usually larger farther/elder brother figure.

Philza is a borrower who practically adopted the sleepy boys, he saw how bad they were at life and jumped in to help out

At first everything is fine- the boys don't realize how dangerous a borrower's life is and just look up to Phil-

It isn't until he's seen and caught by another human that the boys fully realize what it means for a borrower to be seen- and how much harder it is to be willingly seen like when Philza revealed himself to the boys

With the other human Philza js treated like a pet and gains some scars- even if it was only for a short time- before being rescued by his boys

Afterwards thr boys are very protective of Dadza a d start listening to everything he says- who knows, if they don't listen it could get him caught again.

Hello! I actually thought I was following you already but apparently I wasn’t and recently just followed you like 1-2 days ago?? Which means I don’t know anything about your WIP(s)! What are you current project(s)?

Hey! I honestly lived under the same impression that you followed me. But yknow things on Tumblr are odd sometimes.

One of the projects I have going on at the moment is Project Soulstealer! It's a horror adventure low fantasy romance mess that I'm very attached to. It follows the story of Morticia, an 18 yo demigirl who is chosen the human host of a boogyman pure creature. After trying to fight them and failing, she has to adapt to her new life. It has a lot of creepy aesthetics and murder. Maybe a little too much murder. But who cares, I like this wip.

Currently I'm in a bit of a break with Project Soulstealer, mostly because I can bring myself to write the Big Bad Thing of Arc 2. I'm just not ready to leave the settings and some of the characters :(

Another "project", if you could call it that, I've been working on are some harry potter fanfics. They are part of an au I came up thanks to my friends. It is mostly set during the marauders period (since that's my favourite one) and it takes the canon and makes it better and angstyer and with less deaths. For now I'm just writing random fanfics that could be considered canon by passing readers. I can't really get myself to write the important stuff because it's a lot.

And I think with that I can finish my rambling. I do have other wips (Two Dorks in Love, Zerryu, Till The Sword Tears Us Apart, some unnamed ones) but I haven't been working on them in a while so I won't go into detail.

Serenity

This is a thing I did for Ninette week Day 1: Serenity, apologies for the lateness. The characters are slightly aged up in this one, in their final year of school. Also sorry, it got a little angstyer than planned... but the serenity is there!

Summary: Nino is feeling the pressure of exams, but Marinette is there to make him feel better.

Nino felt sick and tired.

He sighed and shoved his face in his hands in a futile effort do dispel at least some of the tension in his body.

He felt sick.

He tried to ignore the mountain of books piled around him and tried instead to focus on the single paper in front of him.

He felt tired.

He gazed down senselessly.

He felt so sick and so tired.

 Nino felt numb. He'd been sitting in the same position in the same place in the library for what felt like an eternity. 

He glanced at the clock. Only ten minutes had passed. 

He glanced at his friends. Their blonde, red and black heads alike were all bent over the table, scribbling away on some past papers. There was a dull ache at the back of his head, even his headphones were against him now. He guessed wearing them non-stop for days on end really wasn't healthy. Reluctantly he took them off and was greeted with the aggravating noises of a jam-packed library. The scratching of pens, flipping of paper, tapping on keyboards, sniffing, coughing...ugh! He hated it! It was so stifling. Not just the atmosphere, but the air as well was suffocating. The clammy heat coming off all the bodies crammed into the space paired with the hot muggy summer air drifting through the windows was downright oppressive.

Nino heaved a sigh. He looked down at all the papers scattered across his desk: revision notes, past papers, mark schemes. Marinette, Alya and Adrien had all helped him prepare everything he could possibly need to revise for his Baccalauréat exams, including timetables and revision folders. He was grateful, no mistaking that, however rather than making him feel organised, he just felt swamped. It was all just so overwhelming.

Nino didn't know if he could do this.

He took another deep breath and read the next question on his paper:

The name of the great egret has recently been changed from Casmerodius albus to Ardea alba. 

Nino's brow furrowed.

What is a possible reason for the reclassification of egrets?

He frowned.

A. Allopatric speciation

Nino felt a lump rise in his throat.

B. Discovery of different ancestry

No, he knew this dammit!

C. A change in the mating behaviours

He swallowed.

D. Change in habitat and geographic range

He  put his head in his hands.

It was no good, he could feel the tears pricking behind his eyes as the frustration and helplessness built up inside him. He wasn't made for studying, he was a musician! What gave school the right to put him through this hell? He didn't want maths, he didn't need science, he didn't give a damn about speaking English! Counting rhythms were the only numbers he needed, connecting his music with an audience was the only chemistry he needed, melodies and harmonies were the only words he needed! 

He grit his teeth to prevent a cry of frustration escaping his lips.

He frantically wiped away the wetness in his eyes and inhaled deeply in an attempt to calm himself. He felt a pair of eyes on him and looked up to see a bright blue pair, brimming with concern, looking back at him.

“Nino,” Marinette said softly

“I’m fine,” Nino said a little too quickly, he tore his eyes away from her, gripped his pen and bent over his paper as if to start writing.

 What is a possible reason for the reclassification of egrets?

 His pen hovered above the paper, he willed himself to think of the answer, to circle something. He knew this, he knew he knew this. Damn what was it! He felt tears of frustration prick the back of his eyes once more. 

Crap. 

He couldn't do this.

He drew a sharp breath as someone touched his arm. He looked at the dainty but sturdy fingers touching his wrist. He followed them to a wiry but strong arm, up to her shoulder covered in her usual black jacket, past her pale neck, her red lips, and her cute button nose, before finally landing on those blue eyes. Those piercing blue eyes that saw right into the depths of his very soul. He knew she could see everything he was feeling, there was no point in hiding it.

"I can't do this, Marinette," Nino said, his voice cracking despite the whisper, "I'm not made to do this."

Marinette smiled sadly, "I know." 

Nino bit his lip. 

"You and I, we're artists," Marinette said, "We aren't naturally academic like Alya, we aren't studious like Adrien."

Nino felt Adrien and Alya both stiffen beside him.

“Some people thrive in conditions like this,” Marinette continued, “pushed to their mental limits, to see how far they can go. But for people like us? It’s stifling.”

Nino nodded, "It's so hard, Marinette, I can't."

“But you must,” she said sternly.

“What?” he was a little taken aback at her change in tone.

"We both must persevere. After all, the road to success is filled with many obstacles." 

"But...but," Nino floundered, "at the end of the day, all this work we've done just ends up being a bunch of numbers on a scrap of paper, that’s our future! Doesn’t that infuriate you?”

“Yes, of course it does, but it is what it is.” Marinette’s expression changed to one of grudging acceptance, “Maybe one day we can change the system, but today isn’t that day. Today we stick our heads down and we deal with it.”

Nino felt the lump rise in his throat once more as negative thoughts of incompetence and suffocating pressure rushed round his head.

Marinette reached across the scattered books and took his hand, encompassing it in both her own. She held his hand like you would a butterfly, gentle enough to not harm it, but firm enough to prevent it flying away. The warmth from her skin passed into Nino's, up his arms and straight into his frantic heart, willing it to calm. Nino stared at her, at her eyes filled with love and concern. Her hands warmed his body, but her eyes warmed his soul.

Slowly she lifted his hand to her lips and gently kissed it, “I believe in you, Nino,” she whispered, her voice like a soft beam of sunlight lighting up the path previously obscured in darkness.

A blush slowly rose on Nino’s cheeks, “Marinette,” he hissed, but his voice thrummed with pleasure.

Marinette giggled, “What, ashamed of me, are we?” she shifted his hand so she could clasp it in hers.

He blushed even harder as he sharply shook his head, glancing at Adrien and Alya as he did so, but they were both very busy pretending to be working and not at all smirking into their practice papers. He closed his fingers around her hand, entwining them together.

“I could never be ashamed of you,” he said quietly.

Marinette smiled a smile that lifted the weight from his shoulders and made the stress dissipate. He was starting to remember what it felt like to be relaxed, however, he faltered when he saw a flash of deviousness behind Marinette's innocent eyes. Before he knew it, Marinette had stood up, leant across the table, and pressed her mouth firmly to his. Nino had barely registered what had happened before Marinette pulled back and plonked herself back into her seat, a smug smile spreading across her face, despite the blush forming.

Nino stared at her, mouth agape. He watched Marinette's cheeks bloom into the brightest red. She grabbed a book and hid behind it so that only her eyes showed, but Nino could still a tinge of redness in her skin and the grin in her eyes. He felt giddiness and happiness thrum through him. What she had just done, her uncharacteristically audacious behaviour, her self-satisfied expression... 

Nino felt himself break free from the shackles of stress that had been forcing him down.

Looking at Marinette like that, he knew that everything was going to be alright.

"Get a room, guys," Alya said, not breaking to look up from her paper. 

There was silence.

Adrien snorted.

Marinette giggled.

Nino couldn't help but let a grin spread across his face.

Alya looked up with a devilish smirk.

They all burst into laughter.

just thought of this super random DP au where Maddie and Vlad were actually a couple when they were still in college and Dan was the kid they had together (and like Dan is actually short for some super hard to pronounce name that Vlad's extremely Russian grandfather had) fast forward some time and the two break up because tbh Vlad would be a terrible husband and Maddie ends up marrying Jack a couple years later and having three kids, Jazz and the twins, Daniel and Danielle because she loved the name Danielle and Jack wanted to give them matching names (trans-Danny alternative, he chose the name Danny himself in order to match with his twin sis) in any case he's called Danny and she's called Elle to avoid confusion since they already have a half brother named Dan that they HAAAAAAAATE because he's SUCH A DOOUUUCHEEE but he's been coming over for every second summer since they were kids so they deal with it, Jazz usually keeps him from being too obnoxious because he actually listens to her ssssometimes Dan and Jack actually get along super well like woah, Jack is super cool about his wife's previous relationship because like they're all buds it's fine, Maddie still feels awkward as shit when her husband and her ex are in the same room tho because she KNOWS how Vlad feels about Jack and tbh I think the main reason Dan likes Jack is because Vlad hates him and Dan is the biggest fucking rebellious edgelord in existence and will literally jump off a bridge because his dad said not to like you have no idea what kind of stupid shit this kid does he's a fucking idiot and has absolutely zero self preservation instincts of the 'jam a knife into the toaster to get the bread out it'll be fine' variety sometimes Dan fucks off to Amity Park for shits and giggles when he's mad at his dad about something and will just generally tag along with Danny wherever he goes because he knows he fucking hates it, Elle isn't nearly as fun to bother because she's too good at SAVAGELY roasting him on the fly, and he actually likes Jazz because she listens to him go off about his problems and is actually really good to talk to, Danny is just a goofy turd and gets really mad really easily and therefore THE most fun to bother Dan is really just super lonely and acts out for attention because Vlad is 'always working' and when he makes time for him it's always things that VLAD wants to do and it's never what DAN wants to do so they're just always super shitty with each other Dan loves Maddie tho, he loves all his sibs too but like he can't let them KNOW he loves them like love is for babies and Dan is Super Cool yEAH FUCK LOVE AND ALL THAT WUSSY SHIT but really someone pls hug him he needs it he is Troubled Danny and Elle are super into that whole identical twin thing even though they're actually fraternal twins and not REALLy identical but they look super alike so whatevs, they like to dress in the same colours and finish each other's sentences and all that goodness, they hang out together a lot but they do have their own friend groups and stuff like Elle hangs out with Valerie and Danny has Sam and Tuck (also Elle is So Smol like so very very Smol she is teeny and MAD ABOUT IT) Dan has no friends he keeps getting kicked out of school too quickly to make any whOOPS (that's probs why he bothers his siblings so much because he's just so boored and has no idea how to talk to people without pissing them off, honestly he has a terrible role model and absolutely no filter) but Jazz often invites him out with her friends so like he actually becomes good pals with some peeps that Jazz knows, like that Spike guy in the year above hers (apparently Spike has a little brother in Danny and Elle's year who is like some crazy cryptid obsessive weirdo? His name is weird it's like Warf or Wes or something, Dan can never remember, he just knows their dad works for his dad and Spike is p cool and they bitch about their dads together it's great and 'we totally aren't dating haha what stfu Jazz') and who knows... maybe they all get into some trouble with a ghost portal some day and all get superpowers *shrugs* I'm sure all three of them would be responsible and absolutely NOT use their extremely powerful abilities for shenanigans and/or hijinks I'm also 100% positive Wes will not start going on about how his brother's new boyfriend's family are fUCKING GHOSTS like whaaaaat why would that ever happen? Everyone's talking about Virgils reaction to Roman, but why is no one talking about Romans reaction to Virgil??? Like look at how he looks at him after he changes! Then after when he's say "That is magnificent..." and Virgil makes this adorable smirk thing and Romans like shit showed to many feelings back up back up "how you managed to become even angstyer" then he realizes that that hurt him and gets all flustered and starts rambling about his "hog wild style"
